I wake up inside a washing machine.

The car bumped and thumped at every pothole and sharp turn. I slowly raise my eyelids to examine my area. I see that I am in a six seater car with numerous individuals in the seats. I stare at them, all oddly unaware of my being awake and alert.

I quickly flick my gaze out the window. The usual cement and grey sky had diminished and turned into green grass and lemon chiffon sunrise.

My vision was still a bit fuzzy and then suddenly I feel a burning flare flashed in my throat and through my body. My skin started to heat up to feverish heights and my eyes tingled during the whole process. As I felt it all I didn't feel pain nor fear not even doubt.

Instead I felt only one compelling desire.

Thirst.

And the man in the seat in front of me met my needs.

Aabis POV

I sat in front of the girl we had just saved from Aarif. Before we even knew her we were just planning on having a decent day in the city.

 Amaya, Adi, and I had just pulled into the drive way where we heard of this new music place called Dynamite and we were all excited to get new instruments and songs. Adi wanted to learn how to play the guitar.

Amaya browsed over newer songs. Her favorite singer I believe was Aloe Blacc so far. Sadly her music choices vary throughout the day.

I on the other hand was more interested in the pianos. I glazed over everything like a fat kid in Wal-Mart. (just joking, not against over weighted people)

Then I heard a girl make a sound from my left. 

"Just calm down okay. Ralayla I need you to focus, who did you hear?" I over hear the girl say. Her soft hands clutched her green phone tightly, straining to hear the so-called Ralayla.

Her eyes are wide and frantic as she listens to the other girl.

"Ray pay attention. I need you to grab Ajax from his room and hide. Do NOT come out unless you are certain their are no voices. I'll be their in ten minutes." She said in a calm manner. Her stance is one of a person preparing for war.

The way she talked to the girl was full of authority and strength. Revealing none of the panic anyone else would. Made me look at her in curiosity.

She told the girl to hide. Is the girl in danger?

The girl in front of me made a rush for the front door. But as she does so she's stopped by a male voice.

"AYE! You gotta pay for that!" He yells to her pointing at the freshly polished wooden acoustic guitar strapped across her back.

The girl makes a frustrated face and digs into her string bag that looked like a knock off. She dug out several Ben Franklin's and toss them on the counter without care. She then picks up her jean jacket and takes her leave.

"Keep the change." She says to him snarlingly before she leaves. And the bells chime as she pushes the door open and goes. Her brown tendrils of hair flowing past the wind in her rush. And then the smell of roses waft my nose.

I quickly grab my friends arms and pull them along with me to the car/van. 

"Aye, whats this all about?!" Amaya asks as I toss her in the passenger seat. I say nothing at first as I push Adi into the car as well. I hop into the wheel and follow the girl with the grey band T-shirt and skirt.

She walks towards her car, a white 2016 Honda Fit with silver rims. I hear Amaya dog whistle at the car I'm currently tailing.

"You gonna tell us now why we're following a sixteen year old girl?" Adi asks aggravatingly from the back. He leans forward in between the passenger and driver's seat and they both look at me waiting for an answer. 

"She's not a girl." I say smoothly looking forward. Though I didn't see them I feel them hop up in surprise at my quip.

"What?!" They yell simultaneously.

"Smell the air." I instruct. They do as told and their eyes widen in surprise.

"Blixes." They say again in unison.

I nod my head. "Probably the last one in existence and she's heading towards something deadly."
