"Lucky charm!" Ladybug yelled as she tossed he yo-yo in the air, releasing an energy and created a new object. Ladybug caught the object and looked at it confusingly. "A scissor?" She looked around for clues and she spotted her yo-yo and then the mayor's sash. "Chat Noir, help me distract the mayor, I'll go cut some sash." She said and looked at Chat Noir who nodded in response. Chat Noir lifted his baton up and challenged the mayor for a sword fight.

"I don't think that you do this kind of thing, mayor." Chat Noir said while smirking.

"Chat Noir, you will pay!" The mayor yelled. "And I am no longer the mayor, I am JUSTICE!" He lifted up his sword and fought Chat Noir.

How did it all end up here anyway?

Flashback.

"Chat Noir and Ladybug saved Paris once again!" A random man announced as Ladybug and Chat Noir was holding a thief captive, the certain thief wasn't akumatized though...he was just a normal thief. Ladybug shook the Lieutenant Roger's hand as Chat Noir and the other policemen put the thief in in the police car.

"Thank you, Ladybug, Chat Noir." Lieutenant Roger said.

"No problem, Mr. Roger." Chat Noir replied with a two hand salute but then he heard a warning beep from his ring, signaling that he is about to transform to his civilian self. "But, I gotta go, see you later, milady." He turned to Ladybug who just smiled at him in return, Chat Noir then left.

Roger and Ladybug talked for awhile, besides, Ladybug still has few time left, she did not use her lucky charm for a simple thief, unlike Chat Noir who used his cataclysm twice for the bars that blocked them from the thief...and another bars.

"Ladybug and Chat Noir is way better than the mayor." Ladybug heard a guy said. "They have done greater things more than our mayor did."

Of course the mayor heard this and was upset. He has been doing his best to put Paris into order. But of course they haven't seen it, they haven't see how hard he worked and stressed himself as the mayor of Paris, all the people wanted was results. And now, the people were all looking at Ladybug and Chat Noir, and not at him.

Hawk Moth saw everything, and it was a perfect opportunity to strike, he sent the akuma to the upset mayor of Paris.

End of Flashback.

Ladybug tied the scissor to her yo-yo as Chat Noir and 'Justice' were sword fighting, then she tossed the scissor to the mayor, instantly tearing his sash, the purple-black akuma went out of it. "No more evil doing for you little akuma." Ladybug said, opening her yo-yo. "Time to de-evilize!" She caught the akuma and her yo-yo closed. "Gotcha!" After she opened her yo-yo again, a white butterfly went out of it. "Bye-bye, little butterfly...miraculous ladybug!" Ladybug tossed the scissor to the air and it released an energy that restored all that was broken.

"What happened?" The mayor asked as he rubbed his forehead.

"Pound it!" Ladybug and Chat Noir fist bumped then they helped the mayor stood up.

"Everything is okay now." Ladybug said and smiled at the mayor.

"Ladybug?" He asked confusingly. "Why am I here in the rooftop?" He looked around as Ladybug and Chat Noir shrugged.

"We should get you down first." Ladybug replied and the three of them went down the rooftop, the people below started cheering as they spotted the three of them going down.

"This is Alya, and here we see Ladybug and Chat Noir as they slowly go down with the mayor." Alya said as she recorded her livestream for the Ladyblog. "Hey Ladybug!" She yelled as Ladybug, Chat Noir and the mayor reached the ground. Ladybug looked at her direction and waved at her, Alya gasped. "She waved at me." She squealed in front of the screen.

"So," Chat Noir started as the mayor, accompanied by his men went inside their mansion. "Saved the day again."

Ladybug hummed. "You were great there, Chat." Then she heard a warning signal from her earrings. "But, I have to go before you see me transform." She tossed her yo-yo to a building and was about to jump but Chat Noir suddenly gripped her hand, making her gasp.

"Ladybug, I have to ask you something." Chat Noir said and Ladybug looked at him expectantly. "I wanted to ask you out on a date."

"What?" Ladybug asked in shock.

"Ladybug, if you think I am just kidding around, you're wrong, my feelings for you are true, if you just give me a chance, tonight. Please." Chat Noir replied, his voice full of sincerity. Ladybug almost said yes, but then a certain person came into her mind.

Adrien.

Sure Chat Noir is seemed to be a nice guy, and he's really a great partner. But Ladybug...Marinette's heart belong to someone else.

"I'm sorry, Chat Noir." She said and looked at him apologetically. "I can't." She released herself from Chat Noir's grip and left.

Chat Noir heard a shattering voice...it was his heart.

The love of his life rejected him.

Marinette then flopped to her bed. "I think I hurt Chat Noir's feelings." She said to Tikki, who was munching her favorite chocolate chip cookies.

"Marinette, it will be okay, Chat Noir will soon understand." Tikki replied. "But he seems to be nice guy."

"That's what I thought too, Tikki, but you already know that my heart belongs to Adrien." Marinette sighed as she looked at the picture's of Adrien in her wall and Tikki giggled.

It was all interrupted when Marinette suddenly heard a knock at her window. Well, that's strange. Marinette thought, she looked at Tikki with a raised eyebrow and the kwami just shrugged in reply. They heard the knock again and Marinette whispered to Tikki to hide. Marinette slowly approached and opened the window and to her surprise she saw the black cat himself, looking at her with teary eyes. "Chat Noir?" She asked him confusingly. "What are you doing here?" Chat Noir sniffed again before he quietly entered Marinette's room, leaving her confused.

Tikki gasped and hid behind Marinette's books in the desk. "Ladybug rejected me." Chat Noir said and wiped a tear from his eyes.

Marinette looked at Tikki with wide eyes and she gestured her to hide Adrien's pictures. Tikki then sneakily covered the whole wall with a curtain. "I, I'm sorry that happened." Marinette was sincere when she said this, knowing it was her who rejected this poor cat. "But, why do you think she did that?"

Chat Noir sobbed. "I don't know." He shrugged. "I mean, there's nothing that I didn't do for her." He sat below Marinette's bed and buried his face to his knees, almost like he was turning into a ball. Marinette sighed and sat beside him.

"If she rejected you...does that mean that you wouldn't help her anymore if ever someone gets akumatized?" She asked curiously.

Chat Noir shook his head. "I don't have a choice, Ladybug still needs my help." He sniffed. "But to be honest, I have no idea what to do now, Ladybug surely doesn't feel the same for me. Princess, please tell me what to do." He begged her.

"I, uhh, I don't really know what to do in that kinds of situation, Chat, but, I just ask you not to change how you treat Ladybug, just be yourself, help her when needed, and be true to her, maybe one day she'll realize that she feels the same for you." She patted Chat Noir's shoulder.

Chat Noir smiled at her sadly before standing up. "Thank you, princess." He said and gave her a light hug. "You know, the two of us could be best friends."

Marinette chuckled. "No problem, Chat." She replied and shrugged. "Yeah, I think we could be."

"I gotta go now." He said as he opened the door to her balcony. "See you around, princess!" Chat Noir yelled as he jumped into another rooftop. Marinette waved her hands at him before she went back inside and sighed.

"Looks like he really is broken." Tikki said as Marinette looked at her sadly.

"I wish I was as positive as Marinette." Adrien sighed as he sat on his couch, looking at his kwami who was munching his Camembert lovingly. "But I don't really think that Ladybug feels the same way for me."

"Why don't you just enjoy this cheese like I do!" Plagg replied. "Unlike Ladybug, Camembert will never hurt your feelings."

Adrien groaned. "It won't hurt my feelings but it will sure hurt my nose and my appetite." He stood up and went to his desk and opened his computer. He sighed as he looked at Alya's latest blog.

"Wake up, Adrien, you never had a chance."
