You've all heard of the hot head Paul Lahote. But have you heard of his little sister Annie Lahote? No, well she is fourteen like Seth. Who is her best friend. What happens when she shifts with Seth and Leah? Who will she imprint on? How will Paul react to his sister being a wolf and imprinting on someone? This story is set between Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

Annie's POV

"Honestly Paul, back off!" I snap glaring at my older brother. "If I want to be friends with Seth, I'm going to be his friend. You don't control me" I state.

"I'm trying to protect you" he states.

"I can take care of myself" I snap.

"No you can't" he snaps back.

"Don't take that tone with me, I'm not one of your gang friends" I sneer.

"We're not a gang" he states.

"Keep telling yourself that" I tell him and head for the door.

"Where are you going?" he asks. "We're not done" he states.

"We are done, and I am going to go see my best friend" I tell him. Then run off. I run all the way to the Clearwater house. I hear Leah arguing with her mother about her mood swings again. I run in and freeze when I see Leah shaking with rage. "Sue, look out!" I shout and tackle her away from Leah. Who changes into a large wolf. Destroying the couch she was on.

"Impossible" Harry gasps and suddenly grasps his heart.

"Dad!" Seth shouts.

"Harry!" Sue shouts and rushes over to him as he falls to the ground. "Annie, call 911. He's having a heart attack" she tells me. I nod and race to the kitchen leaving Seth with them. I grab the home phone and call for an ambulance.

"They're on their way" I tell her.

"They won't make it, come on Harry stay with me" she says with tears in her eyes. I notice Seth shaking, like Leah had been.

"Seth calm down, he'll be ok" I tell him. But he can't seem to hear me. Suddenly he morphs into a huge sandy coloured wolf. "Holy fuck" I say. The wolf looks at me whining. "Seth? Is it really you?" I ask and he whines. "It's ok, I'm here" I assure him and hug his big furry neck. "I'll always be your friend" I state.

I hear a whimper and look at Leah. "It's ok Leah" I tell her. Suddenly there is a howl outside the house. She runs out and Seth follows. I follow them. I see six other wolves. "Damn" I say. The black wolf beckons Seth and Leah to go with them. Seth stands closer to me, while Leah looks pissed off.

"Annie!" Sue calls from inside.

"Go" I tell Seth stroking his cheek. "I'll take care of your mum and dad" I state. He nods and the wolves leave. I run inside.

"Where are Leah and Seth?" she asks as she starts to perform CPR on Harry.

"Left with six other wolves" I tell her.

"Good, Sam will take care of them" she states. She breaths some air into Harry. "Please don't leave me" she cries.

"What can I do?" I ask her.

"Just stay with me please" she pleads. I nod my head. She continued with CPR until the ambulance arrived. They used the defibrillator. But it was to late, Harry is gone. Sue called Billy and Charlie. I stayed until they arrived.

I then left. I went into the woods. "Seth! Leah!" I call as I walk through the forest.

"You shouldn't be here" a voice says and I turn to see Paul.

"So not a gang but a pack, you're a werewolf" I state.

"Wolf shifter" he states. "Go home" he tells me.

"Not until I see Seth and Leah" I tell him.

"No, I won't let you" he states.

"I don't care if you turn into a huge wolf, you don't get to boss me around" I snap.

"I'm protecting you" he says again.

"I can take care of myself, now get out of my way" I tell him as I feel myself begin to shake.

"No" he says.

"Fine" I sneer and something breaks free. I land on all fours snarling. I let off a howl, calling for Seth and Leah. Thinking about Harry. Two mournful howls are heard and I take off towards them. I find Seth and Leah huddled close together whimpering.

'I am sorry' I whine nuzzling Seth.

'Paul, did you have to make your sister mad?' Jared asks.

'I didn't know she'd shift, we all thought it was a guy thing. Until we heard Leah' Paul states. As a grey wolf appears.

'Well I wasn't going to let anyone stop me from comforting my best friend and his sister' I growl.

'At least I am no longer the newbie' Quil states.

'Yeah' Embry agrees.

'Quiet you two' Jacob says. At least I know them all. I mean we all went to school together. Until they got sick and then started getting home schooled. And at least I have Leah, so I won't be the only girl.

'Ok, lets all calm down, Seth and Leah need to get home. Be there for their mother, then they and Annie need to begin training' Sam states. 'Paul, take your sister home. Jared you and the others go on patrol. I will stay with Leah and Seth' he instructs. The grey wolf nods his head and comes to my side.

I sigh and say goodbye to Seth. Promising to see him soon. 'So what can you tell me about being a wolf shifter?' I ask Paul.

'Well you'll get angry really easy, if you get to mad you will shift without meaning too. You could hurt someone. Also what we are is a secret, you can't tell anyone' he tells me. 'Only a few elders know and of course Emily. Along with Kim, who are Sam and Jared's imprints' he explains.

'What is an imprint?' I ask him.

'Sort of like a soulmate, but you will be whatever your imprint needs. A friend, a brother, a protector, or a lover. Your whole life will revolve around them' he states. 'The whole pack will protect any imprintee, it is against our law to harm one' he adds.

We arrive home. 'Does dad know?' I ask and he shakes his head. 'How do I change back?' I ask.

'Focus on being human, but do it in private. You will be naked as our clothes tear when we shift' he tells me.

'Seriously? That was now of my favourite shirts' I grumble. I hear some others laugh and growl lowly.

'Oh, yeah we can hear each others thoughts when in wolf form. No matter the distance' he tells me. I sigh and go to my room. I transform and put on clothes. Before heading to the kitchen feeling hungry.

"We also have an increased appetite" he states as he joins me.

"No kidding" I state as I make pancakes. "I'm sorry I got made, I just hated that you were trying to control my life and keep me from my best friend" I tell him.

"It's ok, I could of handled it better" he states. "How about we watch a movie?" he suggests. I agree and he makes us a huge bowl of popcorn each. We had the pancakes I made, before sitting down to watch Star Wars.
