Rei made a small smile as she read the letters that her son Shouto made for her. She couldn't believe the troubles the boy went through while attending U.A. But as long as he has his friends by his side, he could achieve his dream of being a hero.

Thanks to a certain green hair boy that Shouto has mentioned for quite some time, her son is growing into a delightful polite young man.

Rei couldn't be any more prouder of him.

Rei: Oh Shouto~!

Then she thought about her other kids.

Fuyumi sure has been working hard as a teacher and Natsuo seems to be getting his life together as well. She learned that he recently got an new apartment and a girlfriend.

She couldn't believe how much time has gone by...She sure has missed out on a lot.

Where have the years gone....

The years she missed of not being there with her children...

Because of her actions. It forced her to stay in this hospital due to her condition...

She knows the reason why she's here and made many mistakes... That's why she think it'll be best for her and the kids to spend time with each other when the doctor allows her to have more visiting hours.

She made another smile as she looked out the window. She looked down to see a mother, just like her, spending time with her own son. The boy looked no younger than four or five years old as he showed his mother his quirk which was plants growing as she was watch with delight. The plant grew faster as flowers bloomed in front of them. The mother praised the boy for getting a quirk before she took him inside to see a doctor.

Rei silently congratulated the boy for getting his quirk. It reminded her so much of times when her children got their quirks...

Well it was obvious that they were born with their quirks...

Her quirk was ice and his quirk was fire...

Both of their quirks combined to their youngest son while their other children only developed one quirk.

She was happy that Fuyumi and Natsuo had the ice quirk...

Touya...well...fire...But that wasn't so bad...

Shouto had both ice and fire...

Soon she was dashed out of her thoughts when she heard her door open.

Doctor: Miss Todoroki. A visitor is here to see you.

She lighten up feeling cheerful thinking it was probably Shouto. He visited her more option than the others due to work.

Rei: Shout-?!

However, it wasn't Shouto who visited her...

It was him....

The man who did this to her...

Who pushed her to her limit...

Her husband...Endeavor...

Rei: E-Endeavor?!!

Endeavor:.....Hi.

The doctor, sensing the tension between the former husband and wife, declared that he'll give them so time to chat to make up for lost time before leaving. However, he gave Endeavor an awkward stare that almost said: "Please...do not fuck this up."

The large man didn't say anything as the doctor left. He turned his head towards his wife...

Rei:....Enji...What are you doing here...? (Where's your hero costume...?)

It was strange to see the man in casual clothes instead of his hero outfit. It mostly wears that flaming costume from time to time.

Endeavor: I was...patrolling around the area and wanted to stop by.

Rei: Oh...

Endeavor: It's...been a while...

A/N: You think?! How many years has it been since you put her in this hospital after the incident with Shouto?!

Rei: Yeah...

The awkward silence returned for quite a while until Enji finally decided to speak once again.

Endeavor: I wanted to apologise...

Rei:......

Endeavor: For all the things I done in the past...I said and done some harsh things to you...to Shouto...to the others...It doesn't excuse my actions and I don't expect you to forgive me...but I'm sorry...After seeing Shouto mature and grew at U.A, trying to be the hero he wants to be. Made me realize that the actions I took for the family were wrong.

I should've been more supportive of his dreams rather than my own...

Rei:.....

Enji walked up to her a little which made her flinch. He reached out a hand towards his wife's shoulder provoking her even more.

She pulled away from him.

Endeavor: Rei...

Rei: DON'T.

This time it was Endeavor's turn to flinch.

Rei gave an angry look on her face. After all these years, he abused her and her children for so long...Just to get what he wants then comes back and to say he's sorry.

It made her mad...

If only there were enough evidence to convict him of at the very least child abuse. The photos? The bruises? How was he able to get all that to slipped by the police when they question him after she was put here. That could've been more than are enough to make a good case on their own, even taking into account to their other children...

But no...

He made her look like a fool...

Rei: Don't try to touch me...I can't be trusted around you...

Endeavor: Rei...Please...

Rei: Leave Enji...just...go...

The man didn't say anything after that...He rose to his feet and walk towards the door. Before he could leave, he looks back at Rei with a sympathetic gaze.

Endeavor: I'm sorry...

Rei:...

The white haired woman felt tears fall from her eyes.

Rei: Don't you think...it's a little too late to be sorry.

Her question went unanswered because the man was already gone.
