There were no longer happy days for any of the family. They had to live up to Endeavor's strict, cruel, and unusual rules...

It all started when Enji forced Shouto to stop spending time when his older brothers and sister.

-Flashback #1-

He remembers watching his older siblings play together in the yard of their house with a ball.

Natsuo, Touya, and Fuyumi were all having fun. Shouto felt a little sad that he couldn't play with them...

Natsuo: I got it! I got it!

Fuyumi: Kick the ball over here Natsuo!

Touya: No! Over here! I'm wide open!

Natsuo: Alright! Here goes!

Natsuo kicks the soccer ball to the eldest brother who manages to get the ball with his own leg. Then he started kicking it himself before managing to get it onto his knee. He tossed it into the air!

Touya: Yes!

...Before the ball fell on his head.

Touya: OW!

Natsuo started laughing while Fuyumi went over to see if he was okay. The red hair shrugged it off saying he was fine before they resume playing their game.

Shouto looked on with curiosity until one of his older brothers noticed him.

The eldest brother, Touya, made a smile and gestured for him to come play with them.

Shouto wanted to but...

He was suddenly grabbed by his father who was walking by.

Endeavor: Stop that peeking Shouto...Those things, your older brothers, who inhabit a different world from you...

They're Failures...

Shouto looked back at his siblings, who gave him hurt yet sympathetic looks as he was taken away...

-Flashback #2-

Touya, Natsuo, and Fuyumi were in the living room playing Mario Kart.

It was one of their favorite games to play. They played it before many times even though there is a bit of a difference when it comes to playing Mario Kart solo against computers, and playing the game with other people who are in the same room as you.

They rather play it with game controllers and old game systems...since it was the one of the only games they were allowed to play...when their father isn't around that is...

Touya: Natsuo! I swear to God I will beat you this time!

Natsuo: Ha! You wish Touya-Nii!

Fuyumi made a small chuckle at her brothers declaring war on each other. If only they knew her secret plan to outwit them~~~!

Fuyumi: Now now guys. Let's not get all competitive. But how about we all agreed that I will beat you both!

Touya and Natsuo glared at her playfully.

Touya: Hah?! You trying to start something Fuyumi?!

Natsuo: Yeah! Why should we let you win?!

Fuyumi: Because...It's supposed to be ladies first~!

Natsuo: What the hell do you mean by that?!

Fuyumi: Language!

Natsuo: Whatever.

Before they could start the game...They heard their door slide open. They all flinched, scared that it could be their father returning home early from his agency. But when they turned their heads...they all gave a breath of relief to see that it was only Shouto.

Shouto: U-Um...Hi...

Natsuo: Shouto~!

Natsuo ran off the couch to give him a big hug. Since when was the last time they saw their brother...before Endeavor started 'training' him.

Shouto: N-Natsuo-Nii! P-Put me down!

Natsuo: Noooo~! You're so small and tiny. Even smaller than Touya-Nii and he's such a shrimp!

Touya: Hey! Shut up!

Fuyumi: -Sighs- You two...Shouto...So what are you doing here...? (I thought Dad was going to be training him....)

Shouto: I...I didn't want to stay in the training room...I wanted to go see Mommy but couldn't find her...So...I-I ended up here.

Touya: Oh. Well now that you're here. Wanna play?

Shouto looked at the game controller before feeling a little scared.

Shouto: Father... Doesn't want me to play with anything. He said it will distract me.

Both Touya and Natsuo gave a scoff at that while Fuyumi sighed. They couldn't help but felt a little upset that Shouto couldn't spend time with them and have an actual childhood like most kids should...But their father was always in the way.

To him, it was always training...

Train.

Train.

Train.

That's all he could think of making them do...even to Shouto to suppress All-Might.

They hated that...

Shouto was only four years old...

He shouldn't be experiencing that type of lifestyle as a kid.

Touya: Well. Dad isn't here is he?

Shouto: B-But what if I get in trouble?

Natsuo: Don't worry. We'll cover for you.

Shouto gave an panicked look.

Shouto: N-No! You guys will get in trouble too!

Touya: Tch. Who cares.

Fuyumi: Guys...

Touya: Fuyumi. Let the kid have one game. It wouldn't hurt.

Fuyumi: Oh...alright...I just hope father won't be home til tonight.

Her brothers agreed with her on that.

So Shouto quietly sat down as Touya handed him a controller. After a while the siblings played Mario Kart together.

Fuyumi was Yoshi, Touya was Waluigi, Shouto was Toad, and Natsuo was Donkey Kong.

Touya: Yes! I'm winning!

Waluigi was in the lead with DK, Yoshi, and Toad following close behind!

Natsuo: No way! You can't win Nii-san! I'll beat you!

Touya: Yeah right! I'm close to the finish line! There's no way you guys will-!

Fuyumi: That's where your wrong~!

Touya: Eh?

Yoshi manages to get a blue shell while Touya freaked out.

Touya: NOOOO! GOD! SIS! HAVE MERCY!

Fuyumi: Sorry Touya...But how to say in a respective way...EAT THIS!

Yoshi unleashes the blue shell as it charges at Waluigi before blowing him up!

Touya: NO!!!

Fuyumi: Yes!

With that Yoshi claims first place.

Natsuo: Ha! Now I gotta do is get second plac-?!

Toad mysteriously appears behind DK and hits him with green shells that were surrounding him. As DK got hit, Toad started laughing as he raced through the finish line.

Both Natsuo and Touya grumbled while Fuyumi started cheering.

Natsuo: Shouto...

Shouto gave his brother a small smirk.

Shouto: Yes~?

Natsuo: Who knew you were such a little shit.

Touya: I can't believe I lost.....I was so close...Fuyumi! You cheated!

Fuyumi made a fake gasp at the accusation.

Fuyumi: I did not! I don't know what you talking about!

Natsuo: I still can't believe Shouto beat me!

Shouto: Hehe~!

Touya: I demand a rematch! Let's do it again!

Fuyumi: Sore loser.

Natsuo: Agree.

Shouto: Touya-Nii is a sore loser~~!

Touya: Shut up! All of you!

The siblings started bickering until they heard the door slide open and they felt the heat raised when they noticed Endeavor at the door.

And he does not look happy....

Endeavor: Shouto. What did I say?

Shouto: D-Don't leave the training area.

Endeavor: Precisely. And you did just that?! You will be training non-stop with me until the morning! Then we will do it again in the afternoon all the way to night time again!

Shouto: (N-No...Please...)

Shouto felt tears fall from his ears as the older brothers gave their father matching angry looks.

Touya: Hey come on! It's not his fault!

Natsuo: Yeah! He just wanted to play with us! Chill out Dad!

Endeavor: SILENCE. I don't want to hear another word from you FAILURES.

The boys flinched at the failure part. Touya's fists were clenched while Natsuo looked like he wanted to say something. Fuyumi hugged Shouto while he started crying.

Endeavor: Shouto. Come here. NOW.

Shouto couldn't move in fear as his father grew more furious. The flames embedded in the number two hero were close to burning the whole room.

Endeavor: NOW SHOUTO!!!!

Shouto quickly gets out of Fuyumi's grip and walks towards his father who forcefully pulls him by his arm. Shouto yelps as he was being dragged away as his siblings couldn't do nothing but was helplessly....

Then their mother had showed up due to all the commotion she had heard.

Rei: W-What is going on here? Where are you taking Shouto?!

Endeavor: No one better not disturb us. Is that clear?

Rei: But Enji! He's only four! He only wants-!

SLAP!

Rei was sent the wall as her head collided onto it causing her to groan in pain.

Endeavor: I. SAID. NO. ONE. WILL. DISTURB. US. IS THAT CLEAR?!!!

Rei: Y-Yes Dear....

With that...Enji and Shouto were gone.

No one spoke a word. The feeling of dread and guilt returned....

Touya:....(Damnit...!)

Natsuo:...(Stupid old man...)

Fuyumi:....(I'm so sorry Shouto...)

-Later-

Screams...

That's all you could hear now in the Todoroki Household...

Tonight, Touya was bed feeling empty due to all the screams he can hear coming from the training hall.

He couldn't sleep...

He couldn't think...

He couldn't move...

He wanted it to stop...

Touya felt the tears fall from his eyes as he continues to hear his baby brother get beaten and assaulted by their father.

He puts his hands on his ears the block the noise.

But they gotten louder...

Touya: (I want it to stop...Shouto's screaming again...Please...Someone MAKE DAD STOP!!!)

Natsuo: T-Touya-Nii.

Touya broke out of his thoughts before noticing Natsuo had came into his room quietly.

They heard their father using his quirk aganist Shouto through the walls as the boy wailed in pain.

Touya saw Natsuo had his own tears.

Touya let's him into his bed as they cuddled up to each other.

Natsuo: Why...Why do we have to deal with all this?! I don't want this life...

Touya: Me either...

But what could they do...They were only kids. Sure, he and Fuyumi were already in their pre-teen years but that didn't mean anything.

They wanted to help Shouto....

But...That's just the thing...

They couldn't do anything...

Everytime they try... Endeavor would threaten to burn them...

Like he did to their Mom...

Like he did to Shouto...

They were powerless...

Touya: Shouto...

Natsuo: Why...Why is Dad being this way...What did we do to deserve this?

Touya: I-I don't know...

Natsuo started sobbing as Touya ran an hand through his hair.

The two brothers stayed like that all night as Touya tried his best to whisper comforting words to calm Natsuo's down.

The wailing and screams didn't stop....

No one got any sleep that night...
