He wasn't sure if she was actually here and just an apparition again...

It feels like it but he couldn't correspond with the thought just yet...

How long since they actually had an pleasant that didn't involved his plans...

For once in his life, Enji flinched at her tone.

Rei: Don't take another step towards me. I don't trust you. Don't think you can talk your way into my arms.

He had this coming. Why he didn't see it sooner. During that time she was suffering, she had a family with him and tried to be happy but that was taken away and rightfully so because why should she be happy when someone betrayed her and their kids was struggling to survive.

A simple apology from him will not remedy things, he only regretted everything now when he lost everything .

It was like karma to him so he should have guessed that this wouldn't end well. Ever since she sacrificed everything her future that she worked hard for ever since she was a young girl, Rei wanted to be her own hero. But that changed the moment Endeavor first lay eyes on her and then brought her from her own family. Then forced her to have a family with him and look happy in public. It is only logical for her to be abused.

Because of that stupid quirk marriage...

All this had drama, anguish, and the illusions that were put up came crashing down.

The Todoroki Family was nothing but an illusion.

An logical ruse for Enji's sick plans to suppress All-Might.

The woman clutched her head in pain.

Rei tears fallen down her face shaking in fear and anxiety as burn marks and bruises appeared all over her. Flames surrounded her her small figure as if they were going to harm her.

Endeavor stared in horror. After all...This was his doing...

Rei: BURN!!!! JUST WATCH IT ALL... BURRRRRRRRRRRN!!!!

Rei then turned to him.

Rei: And when the time comes... Explain to the children. The pain and embarrassment...You put their mother through.

As if on cue, their children magically appeared in the darkness. Their silhouette shadows representing the expressions.

Guilt

Fuyumi: Why couldn't we just be a family????

Disgust

Natsuo: You too special care to never let us, your 'Failures' into his life after all!!! Because of you, Mom and Shouto were crying! Not to mention what happened to Touya-Nii! And you have the gall to feel guilty now?!

Revenge

Touya: Useless? Pathetic? Failure?! I didn't have a choice! Fear is the only way to get back at this corrupted society that creates 'heroes' like him!

Endeavor could only stare with mutual pain. This was what his children had felt over the years.

Then the apparation of his wife float towards him.

Then his children surrounded Endeavor as Rei joined them screaming audible words at him with expressions full of anger and hate.

The man clutched his head as he dropped to his knees...

He deserves what he gotten...

Because all of this was his fault....

Rei: DON'T!

Then they all vanished without a trace...leaving him there in the dark. His face was full of guilt.

Endeavor:......I'm sorry....

Even though it was too late....

So much for redemption...
