A/N: Endeavor's rode to redemption...

For years, Enji had thought his plan would work. Shouto would complete his ambition to finally defeat All-Might.

His plan could've been full-proof.

However...

Not everything went the way he wanted it too....

It all went downhill from there!

Starting with Midoriya Kid...

He was All-Might's prodigy.

His successor.

Endeavor was sure of it when he first laid eyes on him at the sports festival when he learn that his son will be fighting him.

Endeavor: My son has a duty to surpass All Might. Fighting you may be the first step towards that. Try not to do anything that would make you look pathetic in the match, would you?

He'd dealt with so much growing up, so much...but Midoriya hated the way Endeavor talked about Todoroki as if Todoroki was nothing but an object not a person.

Izuku hated it so much...

Because he knew how it felt to be treated differently...

Just as Enji was about to leave, he didn't expect the bold words the kid used aganist him about his son made him furious.

Deku: I am not All Might and Todoroki isn't you!

Anyone else would have been intimidated by his posture, but Izuku just glared right back at him.

He was brave enough to do such a thing to him. It was also a surprise that Endeavor didn't say anything or even try to burn the boy. Maybe it was because they were in a public place. If he try anything, it could ruin his image as hero.

But then when Shouto finally used his flames in the arena. He finally thought he had the chance. The chance to train the boy to use his flames.

However...After the fight, he reject him which made him more angry.

His temper flared even more when his son refused to use his flames again aganist Bakugou Katsuki and lost.

He was pissed off more...His son was supposed to win...

Little did he know. Thanks to Midoriya, Shouto did not feel like a burden as much as he did before.

To add more salt on the wound...

His chances to suppress All-Might...failed...

After the fight with All For One...All-Might... retired...

His body reduced to a skeleton form which disgusted him...After all those years of hard-work and training...led him to this?!

Another failure....

Enji has been described by his Shouto as a prideful and ambitious man driven by his goal to surpass All-Might. His desire to surpass the number one hero has driven him in family matters to his children in hopes of having an offspring that could surpass All Might.

Hence Endeavor's excitement at the sight of Shoto using his flames.

This drive has followed him his entire life, and repeated failure has plagued him from a young age. He had no interest in the title or the fame of the position, instead wanting to have earned it on meri

Enji has a bad temper which has been demonstrated on several occasions such as when he saw All Might's true form and shouted in rage at the number 1 hero for hiding such a state, angered that his lifelong goal seemed so pitiful. This was shown again after All Might was forced into retirement and Endeavor would be given the No. 1 spot by default. He destroyed his training hall, furious he was being put into the No. 1 spot without having earned it himself. Then he went demanding Hawks the bill for the meal they shared.

Now that All-Might is out of the way...

His rage now made him feel...empty...

So many years of trying to be better than All-Might and it was for nothing...

The constant ceramic dispute he made...

He lives he torned apart...

Just to get what he want...

Made him now realized how much he been an ass...

His wife...His kids...

Would they ever forgive him...?

If he tried...?

Endeavor: What am I doing...?

He don't even know anymore...

That's why...He tried to be a better father to Shouto and the others.

Endeavor: I'm proud of you Shouto.

But still...Things never worked out...

Natsuo still hates him for the Touya incident and Fuyumi, despite trying to keep everyone at a good pace, she was still scared of him.

Shouto...still avoids him.

Rei...He's not even sure how she's feeling about this...

Endeavor: Rei....

God...How long had he put his family through some much abuse just for his dreams...

His selfish dreams...to become number one...

At least he succeed in that...

But...Now...He felt empty...

Being in the shadow of All-Might....

The apparation of his wife gave him an harsh glare. There was nothing but venom in her tone.
