Taeyong's POV

After our talk, I realized something and it all makes sense now. From the very start when I felt things got peculiar, until now.

I knew who she really is.

And what her plans are.

I decided to just visit my clone at Earth. I have to check the state of the planet, how everything changed.

My clone told me that he will go to a shutdown forever, but I told him to still live since I need to get updates about Mark's friends.

It's because there is something about those boys. Wendy and I talked about them once, about how their names, all of them, were mentioned at the secret cameras located at the castle.

The man I visited told me who they really are.

Funny how Wendy and the other girls come and go at SuperM, they are our allies and I hate to admit but they kinda really like to reach out sometimes.

And yeah, it's fine.

I took my support out. Yes, I broke my Support, the one I was originally using and bought another one.

I need to go back to Earth so I'll be needing someone.

I called Kai.

After a few rings, he picked up.

"Where were you?" I think he's mad.

"Working, I need your help." I replied calmly.

I heard him groan on the other line, "What do you want now? You've been missing for days."

I giggled, "It was just five fine days Kai, come on help me."

"Okay, but you will tell me what's on your mind."

"You'll know soon."

I ended the call and waited for a good six seconds for him to come. I didn't need to tell him my location earlier since he can already track me from my call.

"Why are you at this place?" Kai asks as he scan around the woods.

"Will tell you later, how about you teleport me to earth?" I asked.

"That place is a wreck, what will you do there?" He said, "And why is Ten's cat here?" He points at the cat.

"He followed me. Is Ten setting the building on fire for not seeing or even noticing the cat?" I chuckled.

"Nope, he wasn't there, he went to the vision cluster." He informed.

"Why?"

"Because it's his home too, let's go now."

He held my hand and we went to earth.

With Ten's cat of course.

When Kai teleported me back to earth, he got a call from the other members so he had to rush back to the S World.

I waited at the door, taking my time on knocking.

So everything's changed now.

The streets are fall of dust, the grasses that looked evergreen turned pale. The houses that were filled with lights turned dark.

The sidewalk that was filled with people chatting and walking together, is now filled with sorrowful memories.

I knocked on the door, waiting for that familiar face to reveal himself.

And it opened.

"Hi." We both chorused at the same time, giggling after.

Imagine two Taeyongs giggling.

We both came in the house, "So, this is what happened?" I asked, turning serious now, remembering what I saw outside.

"It's much worse. Earthquakes happen from time to time, there is no rain, food is getting scarce. People got into terror, thieves scattered, endless rallies were held. It started after that freaking event." He said.

I let out a sigh, "How's Jaemin?"

"He's better. Which was weird for us. The others who were infected are still critical, no one got out from the hospital. But Jaemin, he was quick to recover. He will be discharged tonight." He informed.

"So Mark came here right?" I asked, he told me about this earlier.

"Yes." He replied, "He knew about Jaemin's condition. He even said that he will bring a cure for Jaemin but he didn't come back yet."

"H-how longer do you think will this planet last?" I hesitated to ask this since I know that it's going to be a sad truth but I have to.

"Less. Less than everything. I don't know, we don't have much time left. Please Taeyong, I know it will be a risk, but it's for Earth." He held my shoulder.

"And let Mark what? Walk on fire and sacrifice? Let him be gone from ME? I don't think so." I roared at him.

"Then, tell me." He looked at me, begging, "Why can't you just do it? With him? Save the world?"

Save the world.

I looked around, making sure that this place is safe. I noticed something lurking behind the couch, "Hey cat, go out."

"meow."

I groaned, "Because of you I nearly died." I walked towards it, grabbing it into my arms. I went up the stairs into Mark's room to lock the cat inside. "Stay here, I'll come back to get you when we'll leave."

I went back to my clone, after remembering what we were talking about, I can't help but let out a deep breath.

"If we will both connect our powers, after that, the time will reset. Those once done will be new, for example, me and Mark. Me and him are brothers but if we will do it, we will not know each other anymore." I explained.

"So you mean, everything will change?" He asks.

"It's TIME itself we are talking about, when saving the earth, we have to remove everything that became the cause of it. Those evil people will be good but they have to live a new life at earth. Though the S world will remain the same. Our power is just a curse." I sighed.

"The time will turn back? To the past?"

I groaned, "No, time will continue but the events that will happen will be different because time is so powerful that not even the superhumans can match its speed."

He nods, bringing his brain cells to work, "Why are your powers a curse? Isn't it cool?"

"Time must be unchangeable. It's against the law to just use it anytime."

"What about the Royals? Did you remember the meteors? Are you going to stop it too?"

"It was okay to use our powers for minor things. But this person I met at the S World told me that if we both will our powers for something big, our powers will be gone. If we will save Earth, we can't save the S World. If we will target the meteors first, Earth is going to die. The Royals are just selfish maybe?" I asked.

"Your Mom is, I never liked her." He admits.

"Hey, at least she made me eat cereals when I was a baby." I chuckled.

He rolls his eyes, "Whatever. Why did you come here?" He asks, oh I never told him why.

"I want you to rest. You're just a clone so you had to do things to keep yourself breathing. You did a lot of things for me and you really did a great job. Maybe it's time for you to shut down, this should've happen sooner but since I made you watch out for Mark's friends, I made you much more stressed." I held his arm.

We have known each other for years. He knows a lot about me since we both shared the same face. But I don't want to take advantage of that, he was supposed to be temporary but due to unexpected things that happened, he extended his short battery of life until now.

"If that is what you want." He smiles from eye to eye.

We both went to my room, I even opened the door for him, he gives me little chuckle.

Feels weird, we look the same.

"Where's your battery?" I ask as he lays down on my bed.

His arm suddenly opened, revealing a passcode to the entrance of his battery.

No one knew about the code, not even him, only me.

Mark's birthday.

August 2, 1999.

The left part of his chest opened, revealing the button for the shut down.

"You did great. Good night." I said with a full smile, gently pressing the button.

He returned a smile and, for the last time, made himself comfortable. Slowly, his eyes glowed like a robot and he closes it back, he looks like a peaceful and beautiful human who is just sleeping.

But he will never wake up again.

Since he is a clone, he is only made up of temporary cells but this cells can't always push him until forever. Clones can't last long. I'm thankful that he will last for thirteen years.

But Baekhyun found out how to revive those cells at least from time to time to prevent my clone for dying. He formulated this thing he called anastasis, and injects it to my clone's wrist to revive his cells.

But even though is is a big help, I can't help but stare at my clone, at how pale he is.

He will not die like a person, he will stay as how he looks right now so there is no worries.

I fetched my support out, going out of the room as well to get the cat.

"Get us back." I called Kai.

Mark's POV

Me and Taemin hyung went back together to the building with the others, no one even dared to speak about what happened.

But I wanted to.

I have questions that have made my mind in havoc. I need to clear things up.

"Stop having too much thoughts, come and drink this." Baekhyun hyung flashes me one great smile, we are at the kitchen since I thought of relaxing here for a while and he came to make dinner.

Yes make dinner.

I accepted what he gave, "Hyung are your wounds okay?"

"I'm a doctor so I know how to heal myself quickly." He gives off a grin, heating up a pot of water.

After being in space for I don't know how long, I suddenly remembered something important, "Hyung."

"Yee?"

I remembered Jaemin, "Hyung, there was a poisoning that happened at Earth, there was no cure so people continued to suffer, my friend was—"

Someone barged in, it's Lucas, catching his breath.

"What happened?" Me and hyung ask.

"Mark...come with me." He said and grabbed my arm. We both left and Baekhyun hyung continued his cooking, not forgetting to tell him what happened after.

"We received a report. An unknown mail." Lucas pulls me into a laptop, Taemin is here as well.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It's for you." Taemin hyung furrows his eyebrows when he read my name below, someone sent me a mail? Who could it be?

"Do you want to read it?" Lucas asked and I responded with a nod.

To: Mark Lee

     It's us, your friends. We went to Taeyong hyung's house the other day and we asked where you are since you haven't showed up since. He didn't tell us where you are. Instead, he gave us this code to send a secret mail. We are not sure if this will work but we hope it will.

     Please come back. Jaemin was discharged a few days ago since he recovered very fast and well. He was shockingly strong? As if he showed no signs of the poisoning unlike the other victims who are still confined.

     We were greeted with a strong earthquake, we had to rush out of the hospital but Renjun hyung fainted. Jaemin even carried him... We're worried, Donghyuck and Jeno hyung got into a fight because Donghyuck blames this on you and they've been cold with each other these days.

     We didn't tell Taeyong hyung about what happened since we didn't want to bother him.

     Mark hyung, Donghyuck said that you could stop this. Earthquakes happen from time to time, a recent news spread, it got much hotter, as if the sun is going to hug us anytime soon. :(

     Help us hyung if you can, wherever you are, please.

I felt my heart break when I read the mail.

I remember that Taeyong hyung said that we can't bring them here since they are not supremes.

But I am not heartless, I'm not saying that Taeyong hyung is but,

I just can't leave my friends. Taeyong hyung is gone, we received no updates about him, I'm sure that we don't have much time left, we have to find him.

"We have to move. Now." I said. Looking at Taemin hyung, Lucas left.

I wonder where he is.

"You're brother is missing." Taemin groans, slamming his hands on the desk, not too aggressive to say that he is angry.

I'm about to agree but I realized something.

They know about Taeyong hyung?

No one knows about his true identity...

"Taeyong is missing, the past carrier is still not found." He bit his lip, "Can't you reach him through your mind?"

I tried.

Many times.

"Hyung..." I softly asked, "How do you find my brother?"

"Kai." He replies, "He does all the work."

That's why.

That's why he was always gone.

"He teleported from places, ever since the news of Earth's end came." He said, feeling sorry to Kai, "Who is your brother? Look for him in the future, why can't you do that? My members, they have been through a lot for other people, including you and your brother. Please, tell him to show up."

I have never been so sorry my whole life.

I snapped out of it, we have something in hand now, focus "Hyung... the people who sent this mail are my friends, I have been thinking, can they come here?"

"THEY CAN!"

A loud shout came from the other corner. Neither of the members have that voice.

And when he showed up, I saw...

Doyoung.

With Lucas.

And two other people.
