New Methods
Your POV
I sat atop a building at night. I'm currently in my Sharkface Armor, with my flamethrower this time. I was watching out for any crime, ready to see if my new method of dealing with crime would work. I didnt have to wait long before some thugs walked into an alley below me, following a woman. She saw them and tried to make a run, but they sped up. She made it to the other end where I made my move.
I jumped down, my weight crushing the one in lead to death. I did a roll and lit my flamethrower. "Get dat motherfucker!" One yelled as they charged. I simply let out a stream of fire that lit up the alleyway. The woman behind me fled out the other exit of the alley as the thugs screamed into the night sky, until they died. I looted the bodies for anything, finding nothing until I took out a half burned letter.
'Meet at the docks at 6:00 PM, then we can- ' Was all I could make out. I looked at my clock and saw that I still had a few hours till six. I walked up to a wall and pushed a brick in. It clicked and a big chunk of the wall moved back, allowing me in a tunnel before it closed behind me, locking. I walked down the tunnel to come to a sewer. I walked north for a bit before coming upon a heavily graffitied door.
I pulled out some keyes and unlocked it. I walked inside to find one of my many hideouts.
I made these hideouts a year or two after I started being Sharkface. It held everything I needed to survive for a month at most. But that wasnt what I was here for. It held a monitor that I used to gain control of security cameras, but a city wide software update along with me joining Young Justice made it not connected with the modern ones. But my time on that team was not for nothing. I learned new things.
The status as an offical hero gave me acess to most modern scurity camera software, and hardware. I dug the monitor out of a crate and set it on the table. I sat down and got to getting everything ready for six. I fueled my pack, updated the monitor, and brought out a case. I set it on the table and opened it up. Inside were things I had to leave behind when I joined the team. Introducing: Flame Gernades.
These little babies can ignite on impact, like a molotov. I grabbed some and attached them to my waist. I used the monitor to chedk out the docks. It was mostly empty, but a warehouse had lights on inside. I switched cameras to look inside and found some people with guns setting up a stack of crates. Got em. I pinpointed their exact location and was on my way. It took me an hour to get there, but I was finally at the docks.
I used some scafolding and latters to get to the roof. I sneakily made my way to a nearby sniper and started choking them. They lasted longer than expected so I snapped their neck. "Hey dude? You there?" A voice asked on a radio the sniper had. "Uh, yeah, still here." I imitated the sniper to the person on the radio. "Good. Thought someone killed you. Anyone there?" They asked.
"No." I answered. "Good. I'll get off now." The voice said as I turned off the radio. Fuck, cant blow my cover just yet. I walked one one of the windows and identified my primary target. They ordered thugs around as a truck pulled up. Some more thugs got out as I readied a grenade. They entered the warehouse and got to talking until I made my move. I broke the window and threw the flame gernade.
It got a few an I jumped down. I broke my fall on a thug and got to work. I killed some as a few bullets hit my arm, bouncing off harmlessly. I looked up to a catwalk to find that quite a lot of thugs had gathered with guns. I shot a flame at them, getting them to abandon grouping up like that. I heard police sirens but ignored them. They are not my target. I went on killing as a door was kicked in.
Most of the thugs were dead or ran away by that point so I decided to leave aswell. "Stop!" A police officer yelled as I turned to them. There was two, one with a shotgun, the other a rifle. "Drop it!" One yelled as I turned and ran. I threw a flame gernade at my feet as I ran out a door before getting into a sewer entrance, losing them. I was up to my waist in sea water, forcing me to waddle into the city sewers.
Meanwhile, without anyone noticing, a bird watched on before flying away, a camera in one of it's eyes.
