2007-2021 Toyota Tundra (XK50)

With the success of the first generation of Tundra Toyota decided to completely redesign the truck from the ground up to create what became the longest generation's of Tundra spanning 14 years of minor changes they brought us the 2nd generation of Tundra. This Tundra may have been a gas hog getting 13 city and 17 highway but it's V8 engine has got the title by owners and reviewers as the most reliable engine ever put into a Toyota truck. A owner of a 2007 Tundra with the 5.7L V8 got over 1 million miles on his engine with the only problem being it wouldn't go into reverse. In 2012 a 2nd gen Toyota Tundra was used to pull the space shuttle Endeavor across the Manchester Boulevard Bridge on light weight dolly's because the robotic ones were to heavy for the small bridge. The second gen Tundra is the most popular Tundra it may not have been able to beet the F-150, Ram 1500 or Chevy Silverado 1500 is sales but it has the total of most reliable full size truck in that class ever produced. I personally think that legacy will never be beat.
