Wind Archer notices a red lighting glowing and faces forwards it, there was a dark red gem attached to a tree glowing, Wind Archer can sense a dark energy emanating from the gem itself

Wind Archer: there it is... The source of all this...
Ashes: great... So we just need to destroy it and get the hell outta here!
Wind Archer: I doubt it's that simple...

Wind Archer cookie takes out a arrow and aims it at the gem, he focus all his energy into the arrow and shoots it at the gem, the gem turns white for a moment but went back to dark red later

Wind Archer: it's no use... My powers alone isn't strong enough to purify or destroy it...
Ashes: your kidding!!
Wind Archer: this will be more difficult then I hope it be, we might need to find a way to escape this place first to find out how to destroy this thing
Ashes: or what if I help you destroy it?
Wind Archer: what? Fire this is no time for your jokes, you could barely lit a small fire how could you help destroy this?
Ashes: duh! Just help me recover my strength! I'll totally destroy this thing in 1 blast!
Wind Archer: Fire this is serious! You can't just only destroy it, it could multiply it's corruption!

Just as the 2 are trying to come to a agreement the gem shines again and created multiple monsters from its light and the monsters roar at them, caughting their attention

Ashes: it can make monsters here too?!
Wind Archer: this is bad- get behind me!

Wind Archer uses his bow and shoots his arrows at all the monsters that charges at them but the gem continues to create more monsters to attack them, Wind Archer was beginning to feel tired as his arrows are running out

Ashes: crap you can't keep going like this, that thing won't stop making those monsters! We have to go back!!
Wind Archer: it's fine! I'll... I'll shoot them until there's none left...
Ashes: Windy don't be stupid right now! Your running out of arrows! Those things will kill you!!

Just as Ashe was facing Wind Archer he didn't notice the monster that was running to his direction, he was slow to react but Wind Archer cookie shot a energy arrow forwards him hoping to create a shield to protect him from the monsters, the winds turns into a shield keeping Ashes inside and away from the monsters

Wind Archer: I have to do this... Or else... It will destroy all life here... I must purify it... Even if..  I won't make it...

Wind Archer pulls out a arrow again and was ready to shoot when all the monsters were going to jump in to attack him, Wind Archer failed to react as the monsters were ready to strike, he closes his eyes bracing himself for the attack when suddenly he heard the sound of flames crackling, he opens his eyes to see all the monsters were attacked and burned away with flames, he looked Infront of him and sees a figure burning with a ever so bright fire that seems so powerful it could not die out, Fire Spirit then disburse the flames becoming a new form with a crown made from hardened lava, wings of the hottest flames, his staff shining it's once brilliance heat

Fire Spirit: back off... I'm the only one who's allowed to annoy the winds
Wind Archer: Firey...? But how?
Fire Spirit: your little arrow helped me out, now are we gonna end this corruption or do you plan to sit there all day and play dead Little Feather?
Wind Archer: I see you have return to your usual self... Very well... Let's end this... Together

The two of them stand together as more monsters spawned in surrounding the tree now allowing them to get any closer, they both raise their weapon and they both let out their strongest attacks, Wind Archer release a arrow that was bursting with Wind energy and Fire Spirit let out the biggest fire attack, Wind Archers arrow turns into a bird as Fire Spirits attack circles it and together it both destroys all the monsters and hits the gem directly, purifying it and destroying it in the process, once the gem was destroyed everything around changes as the space around them glow a brilliant light that blinded them for a moment, they both open their eyes again to see themselves inside the forest once again, this time the forest felt more lively and peaceful, seeing the site Fire Spirit couldn't help but smile to himself for a moment

Wind Archer: we did it... We saved this forest...

Wind Archer falls down on one knee and tries to hold onto his bow to stand, Fire Spirit notices and tries to help him up

Fire Spirit: woah hey there! Don't work yourself out now... I knew you exhaust yourself like this... Are you trying to get yourself all tired out now? If so my fire can't help you like your winds help me
Wind Archer: hehe... Don't worry... I'm fine... Just a little tired...
Fire Spirit: *sigh* come on... Let's get you some rest... There's nothing for you to do here anymore...

Fire Spirit carries Wind Archer in his arms Bridal style and took him back to the tent, the two of them ended up resting inside the tent together for the whole day, cuddling until they were ready to go back to their home together.
