Now may I present to you the other au I had in mind... Inspired by...

                   FLOWERFELL AU

Everyone knows this au and the terrible mischaracterising of the characters and the story, for my whole life that I known this au, I thought it was a Frans au, turns out they were just friends but the fandom harassed the creator for them to be a couple and the poor fella fall into depression, I was not aware of this not until recently, and as much as I respected the guy, this au is still about firewind and it only takes some inspiration, that's all.

Ash opens his eyes as a stinging pain rings inside his head, he slowly sat up from his position and looks around to find himself in the forest but something is off... The trees has grown old and withered away all the lush green leaves, the grass seem to be dying as well, the wind was hollow, harsh and cold... Not the like the gentle breeze that would always welcome anyone in its trace, the sky is dark and covered in grey clouds, no sights of the moon or stars tonight... Ash held his head still ringing in pain, not understanding how he ended up here in the forest... And last he checked... He was Fire Spirit cookie... Not the Lord of Ash... He doesn't understand what was going on but the only other cookie who might know what happened is him... Ash found his staff lying on the grass nearby and took it before he started walking around the forest, the atmosphere has changed... Normally you could see the cookiemals running around playing together or hear the birds chirping in the sky, but nothing, he could only see a few crows flying above and on the tree branches... They don't normally come here tho... Seeing the forest in such a devastating state yet not being able to see it's protector anywhere, Ash senses something went wrong and kept searching all around the forest, could this be the work of Dark Enchantress cookie? Or was it Night Raven? Where is Millennial Tree cookie when you need him? Just when Ash thoughts were running wild, he spotted a single white bird with green feathered wings flying pass by him, he quickly chased after the bird deeper into the forest and then founded a familiar scarf lying on the ground, it was Wind Archer cookies scarf! He picked it up and looked around and spotted Wind Archers bow as well, he must be nearby... Ash searched around the area for awhile until he finally found who he assumed was Wind Archer cookie at first but was completely mortified to see something strangely shocking, Wind Archer was unconcious but... There were small flowers growing on a side of his face, completely covering half of his face, Ash was confused as he sees many injuries on Wind Archers body clearly from a serious battle, now he struggles on thinkering out what to do, he could only stand there awkwardly trying to think of what he should do, he hates doing work and wanted to return home to sleep right about now....  normally if Fire Spirit cookie were in this situation he would have help Wind Archer but Ash is nothing like Fire Spirit cookie so helping wasn't what comes to mind, he was curious about the strange flowers on Wind Archers face and tried to remove the flowers but that only caused Wind Archer to flinch in pain, he retreats his hand  and then decides to shake Wind Archer to try and wake him up.

Ash: Wind? Wake up... wake up, Wind Archer cookie wake up!

Wind Archer cookies eyes slowly opens as he groans from the pain of his battle injuries, his vision was blurry at first but once he saw who was calling out to him, he reached out a hand to see their face.

Wind Archer: Fire Spirit cookie...? Is it you...? Your flames are extinguished... It feels cold... What happened to you...?
Ash: I should be the one asking you that... Look at your face, There's flowers on you and your bruised all over...
Wind Archer: apologies... The flowers are a little hard to explain...
Ash: what happened to this place? I don't recall becoming Ashes and definitely not the forest turning into... This. . .
Wind Archer: it's hard to say... Shortly after you arrived... A sudden wave of corruption has hit the entire forest, it changed everything completely... I manage to get everyone else to evacuate out of the forest and tried to fight off the creatures of darkness and the corruption but... My strength was simply not enough... You and I were seperated in battle so it's hard to say what fate had in store for you...
Ash: crap... Then what now? Should we go wake up Millennial Tree cookie?
Wind Archer: n-no... I wouldn't forgive myself if I interrupted the great trees slumber... You have to take me to the temple... If I get there and place this gem onto the stone slate the the power of the forest guardian will surely rid the forest of this corruption and fix everything shortly...
Ash: sounds easy... If it's not for the fact we're in the middle of the forest and there's monsters everywhere here...
Wind Archer: don't worry... I can still fight the monsters off on my own...
Ash: if you say so.... I'll take you to the temple just be careful ok...? I'm not exactly strong enough to protect anyone in this shape or form...
Wind Archer: you needn't worry... I'll be careful this time.
Ash: good.

Ash helped Wind Archer get up and return all his stuff back as they both set off together into the forest, quietly walking to the direction that leads to the Millennial temple, Wind Archer cookie looks around the forest with a troubled expression, he feels ashamed that the trees once so glorious filled with life and beautiful green leaves, has lost their colour and has become hollow, the grass too loss it's colours as the flowers are all wilted, guilt runs within him as he sees the reminder of his failure in the task of protecting the forest, he hides a part of his face behind his scarf as he leads the way to the temple, Ash notices this and sighs, Wind Archer seems to always had a habit of blaming himself over the smallest inconvenience that happens in the forest, like a nest falling off trees, flowers that wilt for not getting enough water or animals that died because of natural causes, whenever he gets upset he always hides his face behind his scarf, Ash remembers this well as Fire Spirit cookie has witness this scene many times before, he walks up close to Wind Archer and place a hand on his shoulder.

Ash: *sigh* hey relax... It's not your fault that this happened... Nobody could have seen it coming...
Wind Archer:... I'm fine, really... Let's keep moving.

Ash could tell he was lying but it did seem to help him feet better in some ways, as they both continue to walk Ash notice how the atmosphere continues to get a little bit colder... He
Tho he's no longer all flames... He still hates the cold... Wind Archer was just walking when he hears something coming their way and stopped to pull out his bow.

Wind Archer: wiat...! I hear something coming this way...
Ash: great... Monsters? Now...?

They both heard voices coming nearby and Ashes decided to grab Wind Archers hand and hide behind a tree, soon after 2 cookies appeared they were none other then Red Velvet cookie and Licorice cookie both seems to be looking for something.

Red Velvet: ugh I despise this place... It's impossible to navigate these lands
Licorice: tell me about it! This is all Pomegranate cookies fault! Had she been careful with that stupid cursed artifact we wouldn't have been here in the first place!
Red Velvet: worse of all we're seperated from the others and even Master is somewhere within this forest... We must find them quickly before those monsters figures out where we are...
Licorice: better question is where are we going to look?! The Desert paradise, Millennial tree forest and the Maze grove is huge!! It'll takes days for us to get out of here!!
Red Velvet: we'll just have to find out way out...

As soon as the 2 cookies are out of sight, Ash left the tree he was hiding behind and steps out.

Wind Archer: why am I not surprised the cookies of darkness are behind this...
Ash: worse their master is here, we better get to the temple before she does... You'll never know what great scheme is running in that witches head...
Wind Archer: true... Let us continue to move on, we still have a long road ahead of us...

Bonus content:
So like this is a silly headcannon for Fire Spirit and Ash to have considering this au is based off Flower Fell au but like whenever one of them takes over the others body the other cookie just floats around like a ghost while the other one is using the main body, kind of like Dipper and Bill situation in that 1 Gravity Falls episode so you can see their interactions like this

Fire Spirit: what are you doing?! Help him!! Can't ya see he's all bruised?!
Ash: I don't know! he could just be dirty! He lives in the god damn woods!!

Fire Spirit: I wonder what's with all the flowers
Ash: don't know, don't care
Fire Spirit: like would it hurt his eye if he tries to pull it off?
Ash: your not going to pull it off dude
Fire Spirit: I'm just asking!

Fire Spirit: why are you guys running away?! Fight them!!
Ash: idiot! If we fight those things he'll die!
