have 2 more au of firewind living rent free in my mind and just had to make a story for them so here you go

Yeah this au is half inspired by this enjoy

Fire Spirit cookie lies down on the grass as he looks at the stars above, he's happy... Everything up to this point of his life has been more then anything a single cookie could dream of... He gained his powers through the red dragon and became a elemental guardian cookie... He sometimes does his job and watch over the flow of life, make sure everything in the dragon's valley stay hot and clear... Yet when he looks at his own hands... He frowns, ever sience being reborn from the flames and becoming a fire cookie he has always have a problem... He can't touch things... When he first tried to hold a cookies hand, he accidentally burned them... And whenever he touch the trees or grass everything would immediately turn to flames... He couldn't control the heat of his flames... And was unable to grab hold of anything that is... Fragile... That is until he entered the maze grove, ever sience he started to visit the forest more and more often, Wind Archer cookie was getting too worried of what might happens to the trees in the forest if Fire Spirit continues to linger around all the time so Millennial Tree cookie had casted a spell to make the plants "fire proof" Fire Spirit was annoyed of this spell at first but began to become enamoured by the things in the forest sience they can no longer be burn by his touch, the soft grass that sways with the gentle breeze, the tall trees that provides shades from sunlight, none of them were turned to ashes the moment he touched them, Wind Archer was aware of his fascination with the forest once he sees how Fire Spirit no longer burns the things that he touches, he smiles when he saw the little sparks of joy that lights up in Fire Spirit cookies eyes whenever he gets to interact with things that won't burn to the touch, he could only imagine how hard it is to live with such conditions, at first Fire Spirit only ever visited the maze grove occasionally just to mess with Wind Archer but ever sience the spell has been casted, Fire Spirit stopped pestering him and the two slowly but surely started to get closer together... Not physically but one enjoyed the company of the other every time they meet, Wind Archer would always scout through the forest making sure no danger comes it way while listening to Fire Spirit talk about all the things he does and all the things he likes all the time and when Fire Spirit manage to get Wind Archer to take a break and relax, he would always enjoy hearing Wind Archer tell stories of the past, he didn't pay much attention to the stories but still loved hearing Wind Archers voice whenever he gets to hear it every so often, sometimes they would just rest under the shades of the trees or lie on the grass at night talking about whatever comes to mind, and tonight was no exception...

Fire Spirit: *sigh* ya know sometimes I wish I could just hold something in my hand for once...
Wind Archer: you are hiding your staff are you not?
Fire Spirit: not that! Hahaha you know what I mean, like a branch tree or flowers or... Someone's hand... Like without burning them... Don't get me wrong I love my powers but I... Forgotten what it's like to hold someone's hand for so long now...
Wind Archer: I see...
Fire Spirit: ehhh it's a dumb thought anyways, I guess holding my staff is better then holding nothing.
Wind Archer: hmm...

Wind Archer looks at the stars deep in thought, tho Fire Spirit shrugs it off as a intrusive thoughts but a idea came to mind when he brought up the subject, in the end the two of them parted ways as Fire Spirit returns to the dragon's valley to sleep for the night, and Wind Archer returns to the Millennial tree temple to search for something.

Later the next day around noon, Fire Spirit dropped by again as he was in search of the Archer, once he finally found him in the middle of a grass field, he flew over to surprise him.

Fire Spirit: heeey! Windy! There you are! I was wondering where you went
Wind Archer: hm good timing, here hold this
Fire Spirit: huh??? Uhh a knotted cloth? You know I might burn this right?
Wind Archer: just try and hold it
Fire Spirit: alright, if you say so

Fire Spirit slowly reaches for the cloth tied to a knot in Wind Archer cookies hand and grabs hold of it, he fully expected it to just burn into ashes but... Nothing, it didn't burn away to his touch and Fire Spirit was perfectly holding it without a problem.

Fire Spirit: wha??? How?!
Wind Archer: you said you wanted to be able to hold something without burning it no? I asked father to make this, it's not exactly like we are holding hands but it can compensate for it...

Wind Archer cut off his words as Fire Spirit was looking at him with big eyes like he was ready to cry.

Wind Archer: don't cry Firey...
Fire Spirit: you have no idea how much I want to hug you right now...
Wind Archer: I'm glad you like it

For the rest of the evening they both went around the forest doing things they usually do tho it feels more like Wind Archer cookie was being dragged more then walking along with Fire Spirit as he was too excited to walk but he did not mind and continues to allow the spirit to drag him around the forest, soon night fall eventually came as the sun has set and the moon rised. Fire Spirit and Wind Archer lie down the grass as Fire Spirit still couldn't help but express his joy.

Fire Spirit: today was the best day ever! It felt like I actually held your hand the entire time!
Wind Archer: indeed, even through the cloth I could still feel the heat of your hands... It does felt like we were holding hands...
Fire Spirit: I can't believe you actually made this just because I made a silly little wish
Wind Archer: is it that hard to believe...? anybody would understand the struggle if they were like you
Fire Spirit: sounds to me that you're just a big old softy~ admit it! You love me~

Wind Archer gave no comment and just turn away grumbling while hiding his face with his scarf, Fire Spirit finds it amusing but also cute.

Fire Spirit: aww hahaha! Come on don't be embarrassed!
Wind Archer: you make it so hard to admit anything with you...

Just as the pair was just relaxing on the grass they heard the roar of a monster nearby, this time Wind Archer cookie instinctively gets up and drags Fire Spirit cookie along with him to the source of the noise, they both saw a herd of fallen spirits and corrupted monsters running their way so Wind Archer had to let go of the cloth and takes out his bow and arrow to shoot all the monsters, not one who wants to be left out of a fight, Fire Spirit uses his staff to launch fire ball attacks at the monsters, the two of them rid all the monsters up one by one as the numbers slowly started to decrease that is until Fire Spirit cookie finish wiping out the last group of monsters when he suddenly turned around notice Wind Archer cookie was backing up to a cliff as he kept shooting so Fire Spirit warned but before he could even react, Wind Archer was pushed off the edge by one of the monsters and was about to fall off the cliff, Fire Spirit looks at the scene in shock and reacted quickly, he fly straight over to Wind Archer and without thinking...
Wind Archer cookie opens his eyes as his breath was shaky... Not being able to react fast enough to what just happened... He looks up and sees Fire Spirit cookie was holding his hand, Fire Spirit was shocked but reacted quickly and pulls Wind Archer up from the cliff then he backed away from him a few steps.

Fire Spirit: I... I can't believe I just did that- crap is your hand ok?!
Wind Archer: it's... Fine
Fire Spirit: huh?!

They both looked at Wind Archer cookies hand which was perfectly fine and shows now burnt marks from the physical interaction, Fire Spirit stared at it dumbfounded not understanding whats happening.

Fire Spirit: I didn't... Burn you?
Wind Archer: it seems not...? Could it be because of the cloth...? No it can't be possible...

Just as Wind Archer tries to find a possible answer to this, Fire Spirit happily tackled him to the ground with a full on hug.

Fire Spirit: hahahaha! This is great! I can hold you! I can hug you! And your not hurt at all!
Wind Archer: Fire calm down!

As much as he disliked being tackled, Wind Archer cookie still smiles as he sees Fire Spirit happily hugging him for the first time in his life, they both stayed like that for a while until they ultimately decided to return home to rest.

That's it, the second au is in the next chapter, also I'm thinking about continuing Parted ways, so it doesn't become a copyright issues.
