Leafpool had just found a new kind of herb. It looked like a smooth, light brown moss ball. She sliced it open. That was her mistake. She burst out in tears, but she wasn't sad. Brightheart came into the medicine den, and also started crying. Leafpool realized she had to get the new herb out of the camp. 

She picked it up and started to walk out of camp, but she was crying too hard and she inadvertently dropped it. The onion went rolling across camp, making everyone cry. Suddenly, Firestar stepped out of his den, and all of his clanmates were onions! 

He brought them to the moonpool, and threw them into the water. When the onions came out, they were his clanmates again! Leafpool was kicked out of Thunderclan, and Firestar swore never to let his clan see an onion ever again.
