It's been three weeks since the incident , Harry is fully healed but was told not to put too much pressure on his shoulder for a while .

He walked into the station and signed himself in , greeting his shift commander and Oli , who was in the kitchen making breakfast .

"How is your shoulder ?" Oli asked , Harry cracked an egg into the pan , "It's much better , I don't feel any pain . But I shouldn't put a lot of pressure on it for a little while ."

Liam walked into the kitchen and greeted Harry with a pat on the back , "Hey mate ."

"Hey Li ." Harry smiled and took the egg off the pan , "How's everything ?"

"Everything is good . How is it being back at the station after three weeks ?"

"It's great , missed smelling like smoke and sweating rivers ." Harry chuckled , Liam laughed a little , "Let's hope today there won't be anything major , yeah ?"

"I mean , dumpsters would be nice . Maybe a bush , or a tree . Kind of missed riding on the truck ." Harry nodded and cracked another egg into the pan .

It was around five p.m when Charlie came over to Liam and Harry , who just finished washing one of the trucks , "Hey , there are two guys here saying they know you ."

Harry looked at Liam , who looked back at him , and they both laughed . They turned back to Charlie , "Bring them here , yeah ?"

Charlie nodded and walked away , Liam turned to Harry , "Did you know they're coming ?"

"No , did you ?"

"No ."

"Sneaky little ones ." They laughed again , when Charlie came back with Louis and Niall . Harry couldn't wipe the grin off his face , reminding himself how whipped over Louis he is . He turned the hose off and put it down , turning to greet Louis .

"Hey angel ." He wrapped his arms around him in a hug , Louis smiled and hugged him back , "Hi Hazza ."

Harry pressed a warm kiss to his cheek and pulled back a little to look at him , "You didn't tell me you were coming ."

"Yeah , Niall and I just finished a shift at the restaurant and didn't feel like going home yet , so we took the bus to come see you and Liam ." Louis explained , "How is your shoulder ?"

"It's okay , doesn't hurt . There was a call around noon but our team didn't go , so it's been quite boring ." Harry sighed , "I missed you , you know ?"

"You saw me yesterday ." Louis giggled a little , "But I missed you too ."

Harry smiled and leaned down to kiss him , when Niall called , "Lou ! Come here !"

Harry groaned and Louis giggled , turning his head to Niall who was waving at him from inside a firetruck . He raised his eyebrows and turned to Harry , "Are we allowed in ?"

"Well , you two are our guests , so yeah ." Harry nodded and led Louis to the truck , he opened the door to the seat next to the driver and let Louis climb up . He joined him and took his helmet , placing it on Louis' head .

Louis looked around the inside of the firetruck , positioning the helmet on his head , since it was big . Harry took his phone out and turned the front camera towards them , "Smile ." He wrapped an arm around Louis , Louis smiled shyly at the camera and Harry took the picture .

"It's really cool in here ." Louis said and looked around some more , Harry chuckled , "Yeah , I'll never forget my first fire ever . I was a volunteer , and it was my first time at the station as an official volunteer . Liam and I were together , when there was a call about meadow trees on fire . We were both so lost , and even if we were taught what to do , when you need to do it your mind just goes blank . The older firefighters understood and taught us , they let us put out a tree . It was great but both of us were quite scared ."

Louis smiled hearing the story , "You're cute when you talk about being a firefighter and all . You have so much ... passion ."

Harry bit his lower lip , "Thank you . Yeah , I quite am pretty passionate about being a firefighter ." He chuckled , "And you're even cuter , little one ." He booped his nose , Louis giggled softly and blushed .

Harry took the helmet off Louis' head and placed it on the backseat , where Liam and Niall were , just kissing . He chuckled and nodded for Louis to look at them , Louis turned his head and bit his lower lip not to giggle .

They got out of the truck , Harry laughed and put his arm around Louis , "Do you want something to eat or drink ?" He led him into the station , Louis shook his head , "No , I'm good ."

The shift commander approached them , "Hello ."

Louis' cheeks turned bright red , Harry tightened the grip on his waist and brought him closer to his side , "Sir , this is Louis . You know , the - the boy from the fire ? It was two months ago ."

The shift commander nodded , "Yeah , I remember ." He then turned his attention to Louis , "Hi , I'm Paul Higgins , the shift commander ."

"N-nice meeting you ." Louis shook his hand , Paul smiled at him , "Harry is one of the best firefighters at this station , and he's a keeper . Keep him close ."

Louis nodded and smiled aswell , Paul patted Harry's shoulder softly and walked away .

Harry took Louis to the kitchen and opened the fridge , "We have water , coke , apple juice , some more water . What would you like ?"

"Water is okay ." Louis said quietly , mostly because he noticed someone approaching them .

"Hello there ." The guy smiled and held his hand out , "I'm Oscar , I work here ." Oscar flashed a smile , Louis shook his hand , "H-hi ."

"So , what are you doing at the station ?" Oscar leaned his arm on the wall behind Louis , so he towers over him . Louis was about to stutter out an answer when Harry pushed Oscar away , "Mate that's my boyfriend , back off ."

"Oi , let the cutie speak for himself ." Oscar pushed Harry back and turned to face Louis , but Louis walked fast over to Harry and hid behind him .

"There you go , he doesn't want to talk to you . Go away ." Harry brought his hand back to rest on Louis' back comfortingly , Oscar chuckled and walked away .

Harry turned to face Louis , he cupped his cheek with one hand , the other on his waist , "He didn't touch you , did he ?"

Louis shook his head , "N-no ."

Harry sighed , "He's always been like this , hits on everyone and everything . He even hit on firefighters' wives , sisters , brothers , cousins - anyone he got his eyes on ."

Louis sucked his bottom lip in , nodding . Harry lifted his head up and pressed a soft kiss to his lips , "He's the guy who hit on my sister , remember I told you ? I let Stone bite him for this ."

"I remember ." Louis nodded , "Why is he like this ?"

"I honestly don't know ." Harry sighed , "I won't ever let him near you , okay ?"

"Okay ." Louis nodded , Harry turned to the counter and took the water glass , handing it to Louis , "There you go ."

Louis thanked him and took a sip , Harry took a snack out of the cabinet , "Let's go see if Liam and Niall are done making out ."

Louis giggled a little and followed him , they walked over to the truck to see Liam helping Niall out .

"Glad you're done face sucking , you perverts ." Harry said , Liam rolled his eyes and Niall laughed .

"Shut it , we're going inside ." Liam put his arm around Niall and took him into the station .

Harry turned to Louis and took his hand , leading him to sit on one of the benches . "Are you nervous about starting at uni in two months ?"

"I , I think so . I mean , I've been wanting this for a long time now , but I'm still nervous and scared . It's a new place , new people . Hoping for good ." Louis leaned his head on Harry's shoulder and played with his fingers .

"You'll do great , love , don't worry . It's a good thing you're interested in this subject , if you weren't then you'd have a hard time there . You're a smart person , it's easy for you to remember and understand things . I'll be there for you whenever you need ."

"But what if I need you and you won't be there ?" Louis asked quietly , Harry intertwined their fingers , "I'll do my best to be there whenever you need ."

"Thank you . I'll need it ." Louis smiled and lifted his head up , pressing a kiss to Harry's cheek .

"Well well , look at that ." They heard , both turned their heads to see Anton , one of the old timers firefighters who has worked here for years . They smiled at him , he approached them and held his hand out for Louis , "I'm Anton , I assume you're Harry's boyfriend ?"

"Yeah , I am ." Louis nodded and shook his hand , "I'm Louis ."

"Louis , nice meeting you . Take care of this kiddo ." He tried ruffling Harry's short hair , "Tell him to grow his hair out so I can let my girls braid it ."

Louis raised his eyebrow at Harry , "You never told me you had long hair ."

"Yeah , a few months ago I donated it to Little Princess Trust ." Harry nodded , Louis cooed , "That's so sweet ."

"That's how you made him fall for you , huh , you little shit ?" Anton pinched Harry's cheek and poked his dimple , Harry slapped his hand away , "Go away , will you ? I'm trying to have a conversation with my boyfriend here ."

Anton laughed and pinched his nose before walking away , Louis giggled , "I like him , he's funny ."

Harry tsked and reached his fingers for his ribs , but Louis jumped off the bench before he could even touch him . Harry laughed , "I didn't even touch you !"

"Doesn't matter ." Louis giggled and shook his head , letting Harry hold his hand and pull him back to sit next to him .

"Anyways , the point I was getting on earlier ; You'll do great in uni , and we'll all be here for you . In 'we' I mean Zayn , Niall , Liam and I . Don't forget ." Harry wrapped his arm around Louis' shoulder , Louis smiled and cuddled into his side , "I won't . Thank you ."

Harry pressed their lips together , when Niall called , "Lou ! Zayn is here to pick us up , let's go !"

Louis sighed and got up , Harry and Liam led them to the entrace and kissed them goodbye , waving at them when they got into the car .

Anton wrapped each arm around their necks , bringing them into a headlock , "You horny bastards , got yourselves two brothers to date ?"

"They're not brothers , they're best friends ." Liam shook his head , Harry got out of the headlock and ran away laughing .

"You're horny bastards anyways ." Anton released Liam and clapped a hand on his back , Liam shook his head laughing .
