Fireheart crept slowly through the underbrush he could see the mouse, it was nibbling on a seed clearly unaware of the orange tabby. He flexed his claws and pounced-
"HEY DAD!!"
Startled, Fireheart crashed to the ground mid jump and got a face full of dust instead of prey.
Damn that kid!
Cloudpaw rushed over to Fireheart.
"DAD! GUESS WHAT!" he shouted.
Fireheart just stared at him and spat out a mouthful of dirt.
"Oh. Oops." Cloudpaw said guiltily.
"Oops is an understatement." Fireheart spat.
He sighed.
"What could possibly be so important you risked a meal, you know how important prey is. Especially in Leaf fall!"
"I found some poo!" Cloudpaw announced proudly.
Fireheart just looked at him.
You have got to be kidding me.
Fireheart felt like kicking Cloudpaw into the river but instead he just shook his head and said:
"C,mon let's go home."
