Earth turning golden brown,

A blanket of freshly fallen leaves,

Some which dance in the breeze,

Some which pile up high,

Some scattered far and wide.

Autumn falling across the town.

The church bell chimes,

Tricks and treats down the hill.

Family and friends bask in love,

Fires, coats, and gloves,
