❇Profile
So originally the main character was going to be an OC. I have chapters that are being edited at the moment, and will be out tomorrow/ later today. This is the OC's profile, as well as some facts and trivia to get you by until then.
This will get added to as the story advances, because I don't want to put in any spoilers, so as long as you're up to date with your reading, you won't encounter any spoilers.
I'm getting a bit better at digital drawings, so I might get a few art works up at some point so I can better show you guys what she looks like.
Name: Lyanna Aoi
Family: Valt Aoi (brother), Toko Aoi (brother), Nika Aoi (sister), Chiharu Aoi (mother), Kento Aoi (father), Shu Kurenai (blood brother), Xander Shakadera (blood brother)
Age: Eleven (chapters chapters one to five), sixteen (chapter six to current)
Friends: Free Da La Hoya, Kristina Kuroda
Hair: Lighy blue (same shade as Toko's)
Hair Length: Long and feathery
Hair Style: Either out or tied up into a messy bun, however it is constantly falling out.
Eye Colour: Warm brown
Skin: Fair
Extra/s: Small fang poking out of her mouth. Constantly wears a black scrunchy around her wrist due to her hair always getting loose. Small ankle scar, no one knows or remembers how she got it exactly.
Figure: A slight girl, who's height is extremely lacking. She's rather fit from her almost obsessive BeyTraining, and most people are surprised to see how well defined her arms are when she takes her jacket off.
Colour Palette (Clothing): White and light blue with hints of red (originally). Grey, light blue, white and some black (currently).
Beyblade/s:
•Astra Vortex
Quotes:
'Love might make you vulnerable, but to truly love someone gives you unbelievable strength.'
Facts and trivia:
•Birthday is May 29th, meaning she is older than Lui
•She gave Shu his red gloves seen in Beyblade Burst
•Originally her Bey's name was meant to be called Shadow Karasu
(If you recognize this name, that's because it's in my xWakiya one- shot, 'Expectations.')
•I ended up with a bunch of ideas for Astra Vortex, and ended up switching it in to take Karasu's place, instead of what would have been its minor role in "Expectations"
•I briefly entertained the idea of making this a cross over with the xShu full length, 'Losing Touch'
•She was going to play a bigger role in the world leagues, but I didn't want to risk too dramatically altering the story line, and making the other character's roles less important
•Essentially she is a combination of her siblings (her brother's colouring and Nika's features)
•Lyanna's personality was going to be a lot more strict and somewhat harsh, growing distant from her siblings with age and departure
•She can easily keep up with Free in training, she's extremely fit
•BC Sol was the first team she actually cared about. She acted much like Lui in her original team, and rarely showed up to matches and training simply because no one gave her much of a challenge
•Lyanna was intended to come off as cold on occasion because of her distance with people. Free and Kris where her only real friends, the main character however is a lot more friendly and outgoing
•She was low key arrogant, but mainly because few people were at her level
•Despite her personality, she takes all of her battles seriously and will not actively avoid or turn down battles, and she always offers constructive criticism, which ends up surprising a lot of Bladers
•Friendly and polite when she needs to be
•EXTREME AND UNEXPLAINABLE HATRED OF TURKEYS
(But only the creature, she loves eating it though.)
Note:
Admittedly it is arguable that in this, you act closer to Shu than Valt, your actual brother. I just want to say that no, it is not a matter of favouritism, but rather how I wrote your personality. In this, Shu's parents are fairly absent in their son's life, and this greatly chips away at your strong sense of family.
You pretty much adopt Shu as your brother, before leaving for Spain. Despite encouragement, you feel extremely guilty for leaving. Because of this, you feel guilty and partially responsible of Shu's transition into Red Eye.
Now, the thing is, you know Valt has a large familial support system, whereas Shu does not. In this, you are essentially the only reliable family figure he has. Yes, Valt is his best friend. But you essentially claimed him as your own when he was small, and this stuck with him.
Hope this cleared some thing up. No, this isn't a matter of which brother you love more, it's that you know Valt has a huge family, while Shu doesn't have that.
Also!
Despite living in Spain, you are still close to the twins due to frequent videocalls. You travel home for a month roughly every six or so months, for a few weeks or thereabouts.
