"V hyung?" 

V smiled, "Tae-ah, it's been long." Taehyung's eyes welled with tears, "V hyung... where did you go?". V's smile only grew sad, "Tae-ah, I had to leave... Life wasn't going well at home. I had to go..." 

Taehyung frowned and muttered angrily, "And you left me? All by myself?" V's smile disappeared, "Tae-ah, I'm sorry..." Taehyung turned away from him and said coldly, "Is it going to erase what he has done?"

"What do you mean? What has he done?" V growled. "What else could he have done?" Taehyung laughed without a hint of humor in them. "What did he do?" V's eyes lit with fury. "He killed Eomma a-and..." Taehyung whispered, "He touched me..."

Jungkook's eyes widened and a sudden surge of anger went through his veins. "Who?" He growled, voice deep and filled with anger. "K-kookie hyung... It's fine... He's gone anyways," Taehyung smiled a little.

"Who was it?" Jungkook hissed. "Our dad..." V answered after a break of silence. "Taehyung-ah, I'm really sorry. But back then, I had no other choice. I wanted to go back to find you too... but it was too late. He died and did eomma... You were already gone," V explained.

"Then why didn't you return sooner? Why'd you left me on my own to suffer..." Taehyung faltered. "I... I had to get stronger, Tae. I couldn't go back while I was still weak. I had to train so I could ensure I would get you and eomma back." V muttered.

"But you were far too late, hyung," Taehyung said. "I know... And I'm really sorry for that..." V muttered, tone filled with guilt. Taehyung only sighed, stealing a glance at his older brother. "There's no use being guilty now, it's over. Can we not talk about him?"

"Maybe I should visit you tomorrow, I'll leave you and 'Kookie' alone for now," V winked, trying to lighten the mood. Taehyung glared at V playfully and huffed. V only chuckled before he was out of the door.

"Tae... You didn't tell me about your past..." Jungkook frowned slightly, moving Taehyung's fringe away so that it would not block his eyes. Taehyung smiled at that.

"I didn't think you needed to know. But now you know, don't you?" Taehyung grinned. Jungkook sighed, "If I had known you back when your dad was still here, I would have killed him without hesitation."

Taehyung laughed heartily at that, "You're being so protective over me... It's as if I was your boyfriend or something."

Jungkook looked at Taehyung in the eye, "And what if I want you to be my boyfriend?" Taehyung's eyes widened and he chuckled nervously, "Stop joking around."

Jungkook was silent before he cracked a smile, "A criminal like you seem to get flustered easier than I thought." Taehyung only flippef him his beautiful finger and muttered a "Fuck you, hyung"

Jungkook laughed and ruffled Taehyung's hair. "Alright, get some rest. I'll be back tomorrow to see how you're doing, alright kiddo?"

Taehyung nodded slightly and yawned, "Night, hyung." Jungkook smiled and replied with a "Night, Tae. Sweet dreams." before he exited the room. Taehyung stared at the closed door and sighed slightly.

He pondered a little before closing his eyes, deciding to not think too much for now and rest. Before he knew it, he already drifted off.

While on the other hand, Jungkook was slightly fuming. "Where is that V guy... I need to clarify some things..." He mumbled under his breath, walking around the private hospital.

"Looking for me?" A voice from behind him called out. Jungkook turned around so fast, someone could think that his neck would break from the speed. "You... What do you know about Tae?"

"A lot of things," V replied, smirking. "Tell me, what do you know?" Jungkook growled, stepping towards V. "And why should I tell you?" V smirked. "Because you weren't there when Taehyung needed you the most. You don't deserve to keep them to yourself," Jungkook glared at V, fire burning in his orbs.

"And what makes you think you deserve to know as well?" V furrowed his eyebrows, staring back at Jungkook challenging. "Because I protected him more than you ever did. I bet he doesn't even trust you as much as he trusts me," Jungkook stated.

"If that was so, you would've asked Taehyung instead, and not come to me. I'm not going to tell you anything without his permission. So if you want to know, ask him yourself," V finished before turning his heels, about to walk away.

Jungkook grabbed his shoulder and turned him around, "You were not with him when he needed you the most, so you better be with you from now on. Protect him because that's your responsibility. If you don't, don't blame me if I took your responsibility."

Jungkook glared at V one last time before walking off. V looked at the disappearing figure of Jungkook and chuckled to himself, "Of course I'll take care of him. He's my little brother. As for you, Jeon Jungkook, what makes you have the right to protect him?"

V pushed himself off the wall Jungkook pressed him against and walked off, running a hand through his hair. Millions of thoughts running through his mind at the same time.

A/N
Ohohoh, ain't this interesting? Is V and Jungkook gonna have a fight, or will they end up being good friends and work together to protect Taehyung from another upcoming danger that soon approaches? Will Taehyung be able to remain unhurt after the danger, or will he fall once again?
