Flashback continues:

Taehyung was waiting for Reha ,the girl who sparked his interest.

She was supposed to come early. She was late. Taehyung gazed at the wild flowers which was swinging their heads in the mild breeze.

The lake seemed beautiful in the evening. The sun rays glistened on the water and the sky had a hue of orange.

No one was around. It was calm. Common heaveners  were not allowed to be near the lake. It had the water of immortality. Only the royals were allowed. They gave it to selected heaveners as not all were worthy of having it. The royals drank it as soon as they were born. Taehyung had too.

Reha was scared to come here to meet him but he somehow managed to convince her.

He saw her coming. Her face reflected concern.

" Sorry your majesty."

" It's okay. Why are you late today?"

" I just had work."

She was lying. Her face betrayed her mouth.

Taehyung could tell just by glancing at her eyes.

" Why are you lying ?" He asked calmly looking at the lake.

" I - I want to stop coming here your highness."

" Reason ?" He looked at her with his hands crossed across his broad chest.

" Everyone has started gossiping about me. If I get caught here I would be severely punished. Please leave me. You would find a better person  than me to become friends with."

" Do you really think that I want to be friends with you?"

His eyes showed an emotion which Reha couldn't figure out. She got scared.

" I don't know what you are talking about."

" I like you. No.... I love you."

" What?"

" I said I like you. As a woman. I want you to see me as a man who likes you. "

" I can't. You are supposed to be a king. How can I , a servant dream of accepting your feelings?"

Her eyes showed fear. Her heart was torn. She liked him too. He would drop away the royal behaviour and behave as a normal heavener infront of her.

He had drawn her while she made garlands near the lake everyday. They would go near the forest to pick strawberries for his brother Jungkook.

She wanted him to be a a normal heavener not a king. She didn't want royalty but a normal life.

" I am giving you the right to love me. "

" Your majesty...."

" Hush...." He kept a finger on her lips.

" Please. Atleast give me a chance."

" I can't your majesty. Everyone would point their fingers at m-"

Taehyung didn't let her complete the sentence. He cupped her face and looked deeply in her eyes.

" I don't care . And you shouldn't too. People would give opinions whether you do something or nothing. It's their habit. "

Reha lowered her eyes. She kept her hand on his and nodded.

She should take the risk . No matter what others said nothing was more important than him .

" If you still have a problem, I would step down from the throne and give it to my brother Jungkook. I want to be with you.  "

" You don't need to do that. "

" Will you accept me?"

" I will."

He embraced  her. She felt his heartbeat . His heart was beating really fast. It was the same for her.

For some time she needed to hide the fact that they were dating. They broke the hug and sat down on the big carved stone .

" Reha you give meaning to my life. I was always alone since childhood. My parents didn't give me attention. They were too busy to look after me. I had several nannies. After Jungkook was born, I was happy. He filled my life with joy with the silly tricks he played on me."

He paused for sometime and continued.

But while growing up , I felt the wrath of loneliness. I was taught lessons for being the king of the fire clan. I seperated myself from the world slowly. The pain which I felt throughout this time disappeared once I saw and came to know you slowly. "

Reha kept staring at his face. His eyes was filled with tears. They dropped slowly . She wiped away them from his face with her hands and hugged him again. He was precious.

The person who was feared by the  whole heaven was crying. He was actually a soft person. He  was letting out the emotions which were trapped inside for years.

" Give me your pinky ." Se said and looked at him.

He gave it.

" I promise that I will never leave you. I will stay with you . Even if I get seperated or die , I will come back after being reincarnated. I promise . "

He looked at her . Her eyes showed affection. The emotion which she never showed him as she never known about his feelings.

She smiled and kept her head on his shoulder looking at the sun which was going down.
