SYNOPSIS

Nyx is dead, and Dean wishes that he were too. Now, all she can do is watch over her friends and family from the Other Side. It's a nice thought, but the isolation is torture, especially when she has to watch all of the decisions of everyone else and she can't do anything about any of it. And even worse is not being able to help them when their lives are in danger.

And soon, Dean's wish just might come true. His year is ticking by fast, and yet some days it feels so agonizingly slow. Sam and Carter are working over time, taking care of the twins and looking for a way to save Dean. But there's only so much they can do when he's not the least bit interested in saving himself.
