SYNOPSIS

The search for John Winchester continues as things in Mystic Falls seem to get worse and worse by the day. Between her fears for what her family will have to endure, and the monsters she's faced with during each hunt, it seems as though Nyx may never catch a break.

From one monster to the next, one funeral to the next, Nycole and the Winchester brothers are living in some version of hell...and it's only just the beginning.

IMPORTANT AUTHOR'S NOTE

i know this is going to come up ( because it did many times when this series was originally published ), so i want to address the subject now.

yes, nycole is 17, and dean is 27. yes, i realize why this is problematic in the real world. no, i would not condone a relationship with that age difference ( at her age ) in real life.

that being said, this is a fanfiction where the main characters are killing vampires and various other monsters on a daily basis, and have been hunting a demon for most of their lives.

plus there's the factor of everything that nyx has been through in her 17 years — namely the death of her parents, the multiple near-death experiences of her own, as well as the fact that she hasn't lived with an authority figure in close to a year. she's an adult, she takes care of herself; she and dean have been good friends for many, many months.

there's also the fact that in the show elena is 17, and stefan is 162. as well as the many problematic ( and illegal ) behaviors of damon, among others.

if the relationship between nyx and dean bothers anyone, and you choose to stop reading this series, i completely understand.

any comments about the age gap will likely be deleted depending on the context of the comment. i'm tired of receiving hate in my stories and have decided to delete any negative comments. that being said, i can handle constructive criticism, and that's perfectly fine. you're all more than welcome to express your opinions. reading positive, constructive comments has even helped me with stories in the past. i'm talking about deleted disrespectful comments because some people think that's acceptable, and it isn't.
