"I still believe that we should wait for Katara," Toph explained as Sokka looked over at Toph annoyed. He was already upset that his sister had left to go chase the prince, and he wasn't going to hold back his plans because of it.

"We are running out of time," Sokka exclaimed as no one was really paying attention to him. Aang had went out to fetch food for Appa while Suki was watching over Varo. Ever since last night, she's been having nightmares, "Fine, we'll give it til the next morning," He crossed his arms annoyed as he looked at the earth bender.

"No need for that," Zuko stated as he appeared with Katara right behind him. Everyone looked at the two as it obvious that there was still tension between the two.

Toph shook her head as she felt both their thoughts and emotions, "I have something to do, but I think it's best we wait til tomorrow morning," She explained before she headed out with no regards of listening to Sokka shout out her name.

Sokka continued to yell at her to come back, but to his misfortune she had walked off. He crossed his arms as he then looked over at Katara, "You have a moment?" He asked as she nodded and followed him.

"Zuko?" Aang questioned as he looked at the prince. "Katara managed to convince you?" The avatar stayed surprised while he sat down Appa's food.

"Aang can we talk?" The prince questioned the avatar as he seem hesitant but agreed.

Aang motioned him to follow as he planned to find more food for Appa, "What you want to talk about?" The fourteen-year-old questioned as he walked next to the prince.

"I was told that you don't know how to firebend, and in order to overthrow the FireLord it is essential to match up to his scale of power," Zuko explained as the avatar remained quiet.  The prince continued to explain the importance of firebending and how one must be cautious because it wasn't like any of the other bending abilities.

Aang listened as he agreed, "I hurt the person I care about trying to firebend," He explained as he remembered Katara shriek in pain and how she ran towards a lake.

"Which is why you have to be careful. At any instance of your control being loose— someone ends up hurt. Everything is up here and here," The prince explained as he pointed to his mind, and his chest.

Aang remained quiet as his words sunk into his brain. Maybe the prince was the one that is meant to teach him how to firebend. Almost as it was destined to happen, "We can start tomorrow if you would like,"

Zuko nodded in agreement, "The earlier the better," He stated as the two walked silently around the forest.

"Also another thing I wanted to ask you," Aang mumbled a bit as he stopped in his tracks. The prince looked at the avatar confused.

"What is it?"

"Do you truly love Katara?" Aang questioned. Yes he still felt that his feelings for Katara was there but it was so obvious that Katara will never feel anything towards him. She said it before that they were family. And, all he wanted is for her to be happy even if it isn't with him.

Zuko looked away, "I'll always love her. I never knew what it felt like to fall inlove or be loved by someone expect from my uncle. I never got along with the firelord, and my mother left. Katara fills up an empty void that I have,"

As he continued Aang felt horrible for going along with the plan. He felt ashamed that he stopped considering Zuko's feelings. He once offered a friendship between the two, but he couldn't believe that he was capable of playing with his emotions, "I'm so sorry about the plan, it was something that shouldn't had happened," Aang admitted.

The prince shook his head," Its alright, I probably wouldn't had developed these feelings and despite everything I like the feeling of being inlove with a girl," Zuko knew he sound corny, but his uncle would of been so thrilled.

Meanwhile with the waterbender and her brother, "What happened between you and Zuko?" Sokka questioned as he took a seat on a log.

Katara shook her head,"This was a bad idea," She mumbled under her breath as he remained quiet. At any given moment, Sokka would been shouting 'I told you so' and rubbing it on her face but these weren't like other times. Just seeing his sister— she's more older and mature. Almost as if she was an adult which was odd due to the fact she was only 16.

"If I to be honest with you, I don't think Zuko is mad about it. He came here after all so his feelings haven't changed. In a matter of time, he will realize why you entered the selection and forgive you," Sokka explained as he looked around not wanting to look at his sister. He still felt weird that she had a partner—especially so young,"Usually I would tell you to put those feelings aside since we have bigger problems but, if you have the chance to sort it out then go for it,"

The waterbender turned as she looked at her brother. She may not have her mother around, but she still had her older brother who knew how to comfort her. She smiled as the two looked at one another. He pulled her in for hug while he rubbed her back to show her that he will always be here for her.

The second they pulled away, the sound of screams were heard. Katara shot up looking at the Suki and Varo. The two ran over to them as Suki was trying her best to soothe her down," What's wrong?" Katara asked as she knelt down before Varo.

"Shes having nightmares," Suki answered as she was rubbing her shoulders and telling her that shes safe, "She's been having them more frequently and I ask her what they usually are but she forgets them,"

Katara placed her hand on Varo's forehead and closed her eyes. She felt the girl sweaty and fidget which slowly stop as the water was able to calm her down a bit. Suki turned to her friend surprised, "I thought you can only heal,"

"I saw how she was getting all sweaty and warm, so I thought cooling her down would help," The waterbender explained.

Sokka looked concerned over the girl, "Is she always like this?" He asked as both girls shook their heads. Katara recalled some moments where she would panic because of her visions, but even before then Varo always seemed calm and reserved.

"Ever since she told us about her visions, we just started realizing how badly it affects her. They were never a good thing according to her grandmother," Suki explained

"Is that some sort of bending?" Sokka questioned as both the girls looked at one another. They didn't think it was possible since it didn't relate to any of the four elements, but then again there was always odd phenomenon going around.

"Has it ever occurred to you guys that her nightmares are her visions?" Toph questioned as she walked closer towards the group. She felt the sensation of her heart and how quickly her eyes move rapidly in her sleep, "She had a vision earlier on and its the same pattern, its a reoccurring vision thats shes going through,"

Katara remained silent as Aang and the prince returned, "We should let her see it," The prince suggested as the avatar agreed, "Maybe the more she comes to understand what it is and the aftermath— should be gone soon. For the meantime, I think we should go to the abandon beach house. They won't find us there," Zuko explained.

Everyone seem unsure, but he did have a point. Aang didn't hesitate to grab the things and place them on Appa. Toph and Sokka followed behind him wanting to give a helping hand.

The prince looked at the small teenager sleeping as it seem Katara did managed to cool down, "Does she always sleep during the day?" Zuko questioned.

Sukki shook her head," Its been happening a lot more recent where shes just tired,"

Zuko pursed his lips as he realized he would have to carry her onto Appa,"Alright lets go," He ordered as he went on his knees to grab Varo. In a slow movements he was was able to carry her bridal style and walked towards the giant animal.

Katara walked close making sure if any help was needed she was right there even though the prince was built. She remembered his toned stomach and muscular arms the night they had together.She shook her thoughts as she climb on and sat next to Varo.

The rest of the journey was silent as everyone didn't want to wake up the young girl. Her nightmares has stopped and it seem she was finally getting some sleep.

"How long til we arrive?" Sokka asked

"I think we'll get there in a few minutes now," Aang answered as everyone was relief. No one was really able to get proper sleep because of everything that happened.

"So, are we getting beds on your island?" Toph questioned as she received glares from the others. She shrugged it off since she knew that they can't fake not knowing about it, "I know you guys are glaring but it doesn't affect me cause I can't see," She smiled.

"Sure, there's a lot of bedrooms," He answered as the earth bender cheered.

"Finally, I'm getting tired of laying on the dirt," Toph commented as she received a few eye rolls.

Zuko looked out as he saw the island appear closer. Being back really hit differently. He was just here a couple days ago, and now he's back but with a different group of people expect for the three girls.

Once they arrived on to the shore, Zuko was able to wake up the rest who had fallen asleep," What are we doing back here?" Varo questioned as the Prince helped her down.

"I'll catch you up," Suki exclaimed.

The next few hours consisted of Zuko showing the one who haven't been here the rooms. He took them to the hall of guest bedrooms and told them to pick a room. He heard that Suki and Sokka had plans to share one which made him feel somewhat awkward.

"You are sure that no one is here?" Aang questioned.

"Yeah, every staff left when we departed from here the first time," The prince explained as it calm down everyone's uneasiness.

"The sun is setting and we haven't eaten anything," Toph stated as she felt her stomach grumble.

"There's probably ingredients in the Kitchen,"

Hi! I know I haven't been active at all on here but I was busy this whole year since it was my senior year of highschool. Yes the virus affected a lot of events I was looking forward to but its in the past now. It's honestly crazy that this book is so old yet almost 2 years? It's just weird since I started my other books when I was 15 and now I'm 18. Well, since I'm really bored I started writing again. My goal is to try to finish the books I have before I go to college in August. So ig stay tune til the next update!
