"Come on, you helped me track the avatar before why won't you do it again?" Zuko exclaimed as he looked at the women in the eye.

"I'm not interested," She replied as she looked at him and his group of friends, "I see you have friends now and a girlfriend too," She smirked as she noticed how closely Katara clinged onto him.

The two looked at each other with smiles as Sokka rolled his eyes," I don't think you understand that if we don't find the avatar the Fire-,"

June got up,"Fine, you kids sure are annoying," she stated blurted out as she got up from her seat. She motioned them to follow outside where her Shirshu was, "You know the drill,"

Zuko asked the group if there was anything of Aang. Varo eye's lit up as she recalled seeing his staff bugging her earlier. She jumped on this bison as she threw the staff at Zuko.

June received the staff as she had Nyla sniff it, "Something isn't right," She bent down to Nyla's level.

"What is it?" Katara asked as June explained that Nyla couldn't pick up the avatar scent. Toph was taken back as Sokka began to question if he was dead.

"No, if he was dead we would be able to trace him, but it seems he doesn't exist," She explained as everyone was shaken at the statement.

How couldn't he exist? Katara bit her lip nervously as she knew he was her hope of ending this war, "Now what are we supposed to do?"

"Go to the second person that I believe can stop the firelord," Zuko explained as he headed to grab an item from Appa.

"Ew what is that smell," Suki gagged as everyone covered their nose.

"It's my uncle's," Zuko answered as he showed his uncle's old sandals. Everyone's face scrunched up in disgust expect for Toph though. She thought it was kind of cute since she senses how close the two are, and she remembers how fondly Iroh felt towards his nephew.

"Not that old man," June complained as she gestured Nyla to smell it.  A few seconds later, June got on top of Nyla as she motioned the group to follow behind her.

"Aang is doing fine out there," Varro whispered as she scooted closer to Toph as she had her arms crossed and her head on them using the saddle for support.

Toph raised an eyebrow as she didn't recognize who it was til it her. It was Varro since she knew that she was the only other girl besides Suki and Katara.

"I don't know him personally, but remembering stories of pasts avatars— they are the strongest. You would be surprised at how just amazing Aang is," She stated as she was able to get a vision of the two, "Also I want to say that your really pretty,"

"She's not wrong," Katara stated as she scooted closer to then,

Toph smiled a bit as she knew everything was sincere and honest. She has never gotten a compliment that was so real. "Thanks, I would tell you both the same but I don't know how you look like," She answered causing the girls to laugh a bit.

"So, I see the way you act towards Aang," Katara teased as she was actually curious on how they met, "How did he know you were going to be his earth bender teacher?"

Toph remember exactly how it went when both Aang and Sokka entered her home and try to sway her parents," According to twinkletoes, he said he dreamt of me in the woods," She answered as Katara waited for more details.

"Is that it?"

"Well, basically," Toph answered.

Katara looked over at Sokka as he was half-listening to the conversation. He rolled his eyes, "We also saw how strong she is in her matches,"

Katara's brow raised, "You two suck when it comes to details," She stated annoyed as Zuko looked over at her. Even when she looks mad he found it cute. He extended his arm out as he slightly moved Katara closed to him.

She noticed but didn't mind as she loved being in his arms. Sokka too noticed it and simply looked away in disgust receiving a hit from Suki who found his behavior ridiculous.

"Prince Zuko, your uncle is in that tent," Master Piando pointed as the Prince walked over there. He halted in his tracks as many thoughts came into his mind.

"Zuko? Are you okay?" Katara asked as she sat down next to the prince. She thought he wanted to see his uncle it was the whole reason they went out to find him.

"No I'm not okay, he hates me," Zuko exclaimed as he looked at her, "He's always loved me and supported me, but I still betrayed him,"

Katara looked at him with a sincere look. She knew Iroh would never hate him, "Your sorry for what you did right?" She questioned as she extended her hand out to get his. Usually he was the one to comfort her as she remembered how he hugged her when she broke down crying—now its her turn.

"More sorry than anything I have ever done in my entire life,"

She smiled as she slightly tighten her grip, "He will forgive you,"

The prince gave her one last look as he leaned in to give her a kiss on her forehead, "Thank you," He stated as he got up and headed inside the tent.

Katara, on the other hand, she headed back into her tent with the other girls, "Varro your awake?" The bender questioned as the teenager nodded.

"It's hard to sleep," She admitted as she slowly turned to face Katara, "Sometimes I use this to think about stuff," She admitted as Suki turned around interested

Katara sighed as it seem none of them was asleep, "What do you think about?" Suki questioned as she sat up.

Her brown eyes lit up, "Well I like to think about my future: Who I'm going to marry and have kids with," She gleamed at the idea of being in a family, "I always cherished my moments with my parents and inspired to raise my kids the way they raised me,"

"Aw that's sweet", Katara admitted as she too was just like Varro. The idea of who she was gonna marry was something she liked to imagine. The idea of kids was also something she wanted since she got a long with kids and always found them pure. It seems her wishes sometimes got the best of her though.

"Also I was thinking about how exactly are we going to defeat the fire lord since the avatar isn't no where found," She stated.

"I believe Aang will show up when we need to," Katara answered. She really hope he will since he was the only one who can defeat the Firelord.

Varro looked at both girls unsured as she can tell both had no idea. She simply looked around trying to change the subject, "Where's Toph?"

"Sleeping outside in her own tent," Suki answered.

Katara told both girls that they should get some rest since it would be needed. Her motherly instincts kicked in as she waited for the two to lay back down, and quickly followed them right after.

It was the next morning, and Katara was the first one up as she wanted to check up on Zuko. To her luck, she spotted both of them coming out of his tent. The general looked her way as he smiled seeing that the two were reunited, "Goodmorning Katara," He greeted as she gave him a hug.

"I told you he would forgive you," Katara stated as the prince smiled back at her.

"Can I speak to just Katara for a moment," The general asked as the Prince excused himself. The two walked elsewhere where they can be allowed, "Katara are you okay?"

"What do you mean by that?"
