Reading a book inside an abandoned warehouse isn't so bad, you can enjoy reading your books peacefully and no one is there to bother you. That's what I've been doing for a week straight now, I rather not have my friends and team talk to me for bit after what happened. Still need to recover from that, if only you can control your feelings in any situation.

A small stack of books were then placed on the table in front of me, which it disturbed my reading. I looked up to see a friend that I just met days ago, Neo.

"You sure like me to read all these books, huh?" I said.

She responded with a smile and walked back to the shelves nearby. I closed the book that I was reading and grabbed one of the books that Neo gave me, I read the first page and then found out what the story is about. Closing it again I lay my head on the table and let out a frustrated sigh.

"Now I'm not in the mood to read books for a reason." I said closing my eyes.

Later, I can feel someone poking my head. I opened my eyes and look at Neo to see her holding a chess board.

"Sure then I'll play with you." I said removing my head from the table.

The two of us began playing chess, with her as the white side and I as the black side. For some people this may be a boring game but it's actually quite fun for the two of us. Even though we just started being friends a few days ago I felt like we already became close. I remember that time where I met her, she was outside a fancy bakery, staring at the displayed sweets from the window with a slight drool from her mouth.

Then there's me being all nice and treating her, a complete stranger. But it was not long until we decided to introduce each other, I learned two things about her. One, she doesn't talk, and two, she's actually the girl that tram RWBY fought that time they decided to do their own mission. After a few days of being friends, we both decided to start and hang out somewhere where no one will spot us which is this warehouse. Little by little, we add up some things that might be convenient for us like those bookshelves that Neo stole from a library. I'm not even gonna bother questioning that.

"Hey haven't I told you that I confessed my feelings to the girl I like?" I started a conversation while we were still playing.

Neo grabbed her bishop and placed it on a different position, even if she can't talk back, I know that she's listening.

"Well it turns out, I got rejected. She said that she doesn't like me back, maybe she only views me as her friend. Nothing more, nothing less." I said placing my rook down.

She then moved her queen to the right side of the board and I moved my knight.

"After that happened, we just spent the whole two weeks not talking to each other. But not in a bad reason, we only like smile at each other for a split second and giving each other some quick greetings then that's it." I stated before sighing afterwards.

I look at Neo and see her genuinely smiling at me. This cause me to smile back and let her take her turn.

"Even I became distant to my sisters and friends because of that, maybe it's because I suddenly got scared of her. Thinking that she views me differently after rejecting my confession."

Neo stood up from her chair and gave me a head pat along with a smile. This made me confused before realizing what she meant with that, I smiled back.

"Yeah.. I guess I'll try and spend time with then soon. Thanks for listening Neo." I said to her.

She then nodded before walking away from me.

"Hey! I thought we're still playing chess?" I said.

She turns back around facing me and pointed at the chess board before walking away once again. I looked down at the board and saw that I got checkmated by her.

"Oh... good game, though." I said.

I placed every chess piece and put them inside the board before leaving it there and following Neo. The two of us are standing on the roof of the mansion, looking at the distance.

"So what are we gonna do?" I asked her as I hold on my weapon.

She just shrugged her arms and shoulders at me and jumped down then walking towards the town. I followed suit and walked beside her.

"Anything in mind? Like, at all?" I asked.

Again, her response was shrugging. I only sighed in response and we continue to walk. And then, out of nowhere.

Neo smashed a jewelry shop's window causing the glass to collide the floor making a loud sound. I wanna say out loud that what she's doing is insane. She's going to steal from a jewelry shop in the middle of the day! How insane can she get anyway?

"Neo! Why in the world are you stealing in the daylight? Let's get out of here quick! Before they call the police on us!" I yelled at her.

She comes out wearing a few expensive pearl necklaces and bracelets on her wrists and neck. Neo gave me a smile before running away, dragging me.

"Wait, where are we going? Slow down!" I shouted.

But she didn't listen and continued running at the same speed. I almost ended up tripping but good thing I can catch up with her. We stopped and hid in an alley, both panting from all the running. After finally gathering some bit of energy, I began poking her head and showing her my irritated face.

"How crazy are you gonna get?! Stealing in the middle of the day and involving me in your crime. At least be considerate of the time and situation!" I said to her.

All she did was give me a pout, while handing me one of the bracelets she stole.

"No, I'm not gonna accept something that is stolen." I said.

Once again she pouted at me and I rolled my eyes. I gave her a light fist bump on her head then walked out of the alley.

"I should get going now, the others might get worried in wondering where in Remnant I am. See ya Neo." I waved at her before walking away.

She waves back at me and we went our separate ways, I went to a bullhead and arrived back at Beacon. I stared at the large structure in front of me, even now I'm still amazed on how Beacon looks like. This was my dream after all, and it became true, thanks to my family I won't be who I am today. Entering inside, I took an elevator and went up to the fourteenth floor.

Now I'm walking through the halls about to head to my dorm. In the distance I could see Weiss walking towards me. When we got a bit close we only gave each other some small smiles and continue walking. After passing each other, after a few steps forward, I heard her call my name.

"Uhm Y/N?" She said.

I turned back and gave her a raised brow, waiting for her to day something.

"Nevermind, it's nothing." She looks down and began jogging away.

"Oh.. okay, see you then.." I mumbled and continue to walk my way to my dorm.

I wonder if we're just going to keep doing this. This really bothers me, augh, I hate it. I wished I shouldn't have just fell in love with her. Now I'm craving for her. But I guess that won't happen.

Yet.
