Chapter 10: Walk Down The Park

I waited outside the large structure, my hands are in my pockets while I let out a smile. For a reason, I feel more excited when I think of hanging out with Weiss. This is my perfect chance to get closer to her, I wonder how she feels about this. Maybe the same annoyed expression is on her face like always.

"What are you smiling about there?" A voice spoke.

I look to my side to see Weiss with her arms crossed. A brow was raised as she looks at me.

"Hi Snowball! You ready for our little hangout?" I asked, stepping closer to her.

"Whatever you say so. Come on, wouldn't want to waste our time." She said before walking towards a bullhead.

The two of us entered inside. We told the pilot where we want to go and it later took off. I look out of the window and saw that we're already up high from the land. I then look at Weiss to see her with a bored expression, not wanting to see her like that, I began to think on what to do to entertain her. I decided to only make a conversation.

"Uh Snowball, is it really true that you can sing?" I asked her.

"I do, I often perform back in Atlas for family business." She said.

"I was wondering, if you would like to sing something for me? I mean not right now, but perhaps someday?" I asked.

"Oh, and why is that?" She questioned as she crossed her arms.

"Nothing, just wanna hear how good can you sing. " I said.

"Hmm... I won't sing for you." She said.

"What? Come on, please?" I begged.

"Not a chance." She then looks away from me with a smirk.

"Aww, no fair." I pouted at her.

She only remained looking away from me until we arrived at our destination. The bullhead landed and we later got out once the tamp went down, we were now walking down the sidewalk. The whole place is pretty lively like always, I began to think on where should we go first while looking around. I then spotted one of the most famous restaurants around Vale.

It is called 'The Restaurant'.

Before you start questioning things, yes that's literally the name of it. Blame the someone who can't think of a better name to call it.

Nixium: *cough* Shush, at least I have something to call it instead of nothing!

Anywho, I then stopped Weiss on her tracks. She looks at me and I pointed my finger at the building, her expression shows annoyance as she clears her throat.

"Okay, of all the restaurants we can go to, why that?" She asked looking at me.

"Because it's a famous restaurant and I heard that they have lots of delicious food?" I answered in a questioning manner.

"Really?" She said.

"Yes?" I retorted.

"Fine whatever you say so." She said after sighing.

The two of us walk closer to the place and then entered inside, I began to look for a vacant table until I found one and led Weiss there. She took a sit and so did I.

There was an awkward silence between the two of us. Thank the Gods that a waiter finally arrived to take our order. We then took the menus from his hands and began to choose, after a moment, I gave the menu back to him and told him my order. Weiss did the same after me and the waiter finally left.

"Can I ask you something?" Weiss looks at me.

"What is it?"

"I'm starting to notice that you're being persistent on trying to hang out with me. Can I ask why?" She asked, patiently waiting for my response.

"I really don't have any serious intentions about it but I guess I noticed how you act so cold to the others so maybe I thought how about I try and melt that ice in your heart?" I said.

"I may act cold but I don't have any ice in my heart. And I'm not saying the literal ice." She slightly glared at me.

"You're being a hypocrite right now." I said in a bland tone and expression.

"No I'm not!" She said.

"Yeah, continue denying it but you won't change what I'm thinking." I said while waving my hand up and down.

"Why did I even agreed to hanging out with you?" She asked herself in a slightly soft yet angry voice.

"Maybe because I'm good at convincing anyone into doing things?" I asked withal smile that really irritates her.

"I swear that you're going to be in my hit list." She said.

"Since when did you have a hit list?" I asked.

"Since the first say of going here!" She said a bit loud but not loud enough for many people to hear.

"You really need to tone down your voice." I said.

"Just shut up." She said.

I did what she said and the both of us remained silent for the next few minutes until our food arrived. While eating, I began to tell her things about me to which she was quite interested to listen judging by her look. I mentally smiled, this hang out turned out to be good.

More like a date, perhaps.

But never mind that, the important thing is that I get to spend time with Weiss. We should probably hurry and finish our food and go somewhere else. We later finished our meal and I pay the waiter before we left, the two of us are back to walking in the sidewalk.

"So any suggestions on should we go next?" I asked.

"How about the mall? Is that good?" She asked.

"Hm, sure. There's plenty of places we can go in there." I said.

The two of us stopped walking and waited for a taxi to stop in front of us. After a minute, the vehicle stopped and we both entered inside. I told the driver where will we go and he started driving. I look out the window while my head was resting on my palm.

What should we do next once we arrive in the mall?

Shopping? I think we shouldn't right now. Maybe play in the arcade?

Definitely a good idea.

"Hey, wanna go to the arcade when we get there?" I asked.

"The arcade?" She said.

"Yep, we should go there." I said.

"I don't think that-" I stopped her.

"Trust me it'll be fine!" I said with a grin.

"If this we just went there to waste our time then I'm going to leave a little earlier than you expected." She stated as she cross her arms.

"Oh you just wait and see, it's going to be fun! You won't regret it!"
