Lily knocked on the Salvatore's front door.

"What are you doing here?" Damon asked, opening the door and seeing Lily infront of him.

"Relax Damon, I'm not here to bite you, not yet anyways" Lily said, making Damon give her a mock smile which she gladly returned, "Stefan called me, saying it was important I show him my pretty face today".

Damon rolled his eyes at Lily, but nonetheless stepped to the side and let Lily enter, "He's in the living room" he informed.

Lily nodded and walked into the living room, where both Stefan and Elena were, "This better be important Stefan, I was peacefully sleeping and dreaming about Zayn Malik when you disturbed me".

Stefan shook his head in amusement at Lily, "I'm sorry, but I wouldn't have disturbed you if it wasn't important".

"Okay, so what is it?" Lily asked confused with what was going on.

"It's her" Stefan pointed behind her.

Lily turned around and saw Rose standing behind her, "Rose, here to kidnap me again?" she asked, wondering what the hell Rose was doing here.

"No actually, I'm here to warn you" Rose informed.

"Warn me about what?" Lily asked.

"About Klaus".

"Okay, you have to understand I only know what I've picked up over the years" Rose told the group of four, as they all sat down in the living room, "And I don't know what's true and what's not true, that's the problem with all of this vampire crap, but Klaus I know is real".

"Again, who the hell is Klaus?" an annoyed Lily asked, "And what the hell does he want with me".

"He's one of the originals, he's a legend" Damon informed.

"From the first generation of vampires" Stefan added.

"Like Elijah" Elena realised.

"No, Elijah was the Easter bunny compared to Klaus" Rose said, "He's a foot soldier, Klaus is the real deal".

"Considering that easter bunny chopped your friends head off with his bare hands, I'll say he's more then a foot solider" Lily said, causing Rose to glare at her, in confusion Lily looked at Stefan, "Am I wrong?".

"Less talking, more listening" Stefan said, making Lily sulk and sit back, "Anyways, Klaus is known to be the oldest".

"Okay, so you're saying that the oldest vampire in the history of time is coming after us?" Elena asked, both shocked and scared.

"Yes", "No" Both Rose and Stefan said at the same time.

Lily looked between Stefan and Rose, "No or yes?" she asked, "I need a proper answer before I decide how I'm going to react to this information".

"What they're saying is, I mean, if what she's saying is true--".

"Which it is" Rose said.

"And you're not saying this so we don't kill you?" Damon asked.

"Which I'm not" Rose assured.

Damon looked at Elena and Lily, "Then we're looking at a solid maybe".

Lily looked at Stefan, "When do I start panicking?" she asked.

"Look, Elijah's dead, right?" Stefan said, "No one else even knows that you two exist".

"Not that you know of" Rose said.

"That's not helping" Damon said.

"Look, I've never even met anyone who's laid eyes on him" Stefan continued, "I mean, we're talking centuries of truth mixed with fiction, I mean we don't know what's real, for all we know he could be some sort of stupid bedtime story".

"He's real, and he doesn't give up" Rose said, trying to make the see how much danger both Elena and Lily were, "If he wants something, he gets it, if you're not afraid of Klaus then you're an idiot".

"All right, we're shaking, you made your point" Damon said.

Lily suddenly stood up, "Where are you going?" Stefan asked confused.

"To the Grill to get drunk" Lily informed.

Stefan looked at Lily in concern, "Lily--".

"Don't give me that pity look" Lily warned, "I don't need it Stefan, what I need right now is to go to the Grill and get drunk and curse myself for coming back to this morbid town that has done nothing good for me, ever".

Before anyone could stop her, Lily had stormed out of the room, after a sigh Elena also got up.

"Now where are you going?" Damon asked.

"School, I'm late" Elena replied.

"I'll grab my stuff, I'll go with you" Stefan offered.

"That's okay" Elena said, stopping Stefan, "I know where it is".

"She's in denial" Damon told Rose, "They both are".

"Shut up, Damon" Stefan snapped, worried for both his friend and the woman he loves.

Rose looked between Stefan and Damon, "You can save Elena" she suddenly said, gaining the brothers attention, "If you give Klaus Lily, then there's a chance he might let Elena go, you didn't see it but I did, as soon as Elijah saw Lily, something happened to him, for the originals Lily is very important, much more important then the doppelganger".

"Not a chance" Stefan said, before Damon could even think about it.

"Stefan--".

"No" Stefan interrupted Damon, "We are not trading in Lily's life for Elena's, because of you I already lost one friend Damon, I'm not losing another, so forget giving Lily to Klaus, I won't let you".

"Even if Elena dies?" Damon asked.

"If we give Klaus Lily then we don't know what he will do to her" Stefan snapped, "Letting Elena die is not an option, but neither is giving Lily over to Klaus".

Before Damon could say anything else, Stefan walked out the room, letting his brother know that it was the end of the discussion.

Lily sat on the bar, drinking out of the bottle of bourbon she paid the bartender extra money to give to her, when suddenly someone sat next to her.

"I don't need you to babysit me, Stefan" Lily said, without looking towards the youngest Salvatore.

"I'm not babysitting, I'm just here to keep you company" Stefan assured.

Lily sighed, she then poured Stefan a glass and slid it over to him, "You can't keep me company sober".

Stefan clinked his glass with Lily's, "So did you hear the latest gossip?" he asked, taking a sip of his drink.

"What gossip?" Lily asked, taking a swig out of the bottle.

"Tyler knows that Caroline's a vampire" Stefan informed.

Lily looked at Stefan in shock, "What?!" she asked, "How?!".

"After seeing Caroline's strength at the masquerade ball he thought she was a werewolf" Stefan revealed, "So Caroline kind of had no choice but to reveal herself".

"Caroline, a werewolf?" Lily asked, finding that very funny, "I don't know why I find that picture hilarious".

"Same way, imagining you as a vampire is quiet funny" Stefan retorted.

Lily scrunched her nose in disgust, "No offense, but I can never be a vampire, you lot are too much for me".

"The drama queen of Mystic Falls is saying that vampires are too much for her?" Stefan asked, a teasing smile on his face.

Lily laughed, "I am a drama queen, aren't I?".

"Only a little bit" Stefan teased.

Lily smiled and looked at Stefan, "Thank you" she suddenly said.

Stefan looked at Lily in confusion, "What for?".

"For distracting me" Lily replied, "For looking out for me".

"Yeah, well, you don't make looking out for you a easy task" Stefan said.

"Then why are you here Stefan?" Lily asked, slightly confused, "Why are you here making sure I'm okay and not with Elena?".

Stefan shrugged, "I don't know" he replied honestly, "I guess I thought you were in need of a friend, and I was bit worried for you as well, I was worried you will somehow land in another trouble".

Lily playfully nudged Stefan with her shoulder, "If I have a friend like you, whose always looking out for me, how can I ever land in trouble, hey you know what, we should totally make a pact".

"A pact?" Stefan asked confused.

"Yeah, whenever I'm in trouble you'll look out for me and whenever you're in trouble I'll look out for you" Lily said.

Stefan smiled, "You have yourself a deal".

Lily poured Stefan another drink, "Seal it with another drink".

"Gladly" Stefan said, clinking his glass with Lily's and then both of them downing it.
