08. Rose

The man who had kidnapped Lily, parked his car in the middle of an empty field, he then got out of the car and proceeded to walk towards the car that was parked next to his.

The man inside the car rolled the window down slightly, "Where are they?" he asked.

"In the trunk" the kidnapper informed, "I did exactly what you said".

"Good, put them in the back".

The kidnapper nodded, he then walked back to his car and opened his trunk, revealing not only an unconscious Lily but also a unconscious Elena, one by one the kidnapper picked the two girls up and placed them in the trunk of the man who told him to kidnap the two girls, after he was done, he walked back to the man.

"Thank you for your help".

"Is there anything else" the kidnapper asked the mysterious man.

"One more thing, come closer, please", as the kidnapper got closer, the mystery man fully rolled down his window, "Closer", just as the kidnapper placed his head between the window, the mystery man ended up biting into his neck, after draining him of all his blood, he shoved the now dead kidnapper to the floor and drove away.

Caroline knocked on Lily's bedroom door, "Lils, you awake?" she asked, she frowned hearing no reply from her sister so she once again knocked on the door, this time louder, "Lily?!", Caroline knew her sister was a light sleeper, usually one knock was enough to wake her up, not receiving any reply once again made Caroline worried, so she opened her sister's door, she was even more confused seeing Lily's always locked door unlocked today, stepping inside Lily's bedroom Caroline frowned seeing her bed still made and no sign of Lily anywhere, almost like she never came home last night.

Caroline arrived at school and immediately her eyes landed on Stefan and Jeremy, who appeared to be in a serious conversation but Caroline didn't care, she needed to know if they have seen her sister.

"Stefan!" Caroline yelled, running over to the youngest Salvatore.

"Caroline, what's wrong?" Stefan asked, seeing Caroline's worried face.

"Have either of you seen Lily today?" Caroline asked.

"No, why?" Stefan asked, while Jeremy shook his head, letting Caroline know he hadn't seen Lily today.

"Lily never came home last night, and I asked Tyler if she stayed with him but he said she didn't and according to him her car is still at his from last night" a worried Caroline revealed, her sisterly instinct told her that her younger sister was in serious trouble and Caroline hated not knowing how to save her.

"Elena hasn't been home either" an equally worried Jeremy informed, "Her bed hadn't been slept in, and Mrs. Lockwood said that her car was still in the driveway as well".

"Okay, what the hell is going on?!" a panicked Caroline asked, "Where is my sister and Elena?".

"I have no idea" a worried Stefan replied, realising that something was wrong, Elena and Lily disappearing at the same time was no coincidence, both the girls were in trouble and now it was up to Stefan to save the girl he loves and his new friend.

An extremely weak Lily groaned in pain and slowly opened her eyes, after her blurry vision adjusted to the light around her, Lily looked around in confusion when she realised she was chained down to a chair in an abandoned mansion, immediately Lily tried to rip the chains off but the wolfsbane that the kidnappers kept pumping into her made her extremely weak and unable to break free.

Lily's attention went towards the entrance of the room when she saw an unknown man carrying Elena, immediately Lily knew that man was a vampire, but what she didn't know was why the hell has he kidnapped her.

"Please" Elena whispered, slowly gaining conscious, the mystery vampire ignored her and placed her on the couch, "What do you want?" she asked, as the vampire started untying her.

"Shh".

"Please, I'm hurt" Elena cried.

"I know", suddenly veins started appearing under the vampire's eyes, "Just a taste".

"No!" a panicked Elena yelled.

Just as the vampire was about to bite Elena, a woman entered the room, "Trevor, control yourself!" she yelled, stopping her friend from drinking out of Elena.

"Buzz kill" an annoyed Trevor said, getting up and walking away from Elena.

Elena looked at the woman, "What do you want with me?" she asked.

"My god, you look just like her".

"But I'm not, please, whatever you--".

"Be quiet" the woman interrupted Elena.

"But I'm not Katherine" Elena continued, slowly standing up, "My name is Elena Gilbert, you don't have to do this".

"I know who you are, I said, be quiet".

"What do you want?" Elena asked, refusing to listen to the woman.

The next second, Elena was slapped across the face, causing her to fall back on to the couch, unconscious.

"I want you to be quiet".

"So, I shouldn't ask anything, right?" Lily asked, finally speaking after observing everything.

The mystery woman looked at Lily, "Right" she said.

"Got it" Lily whispered, "But in return I need you to do something for me".

The mystery woman looked at Lily in amusement, "Are you seriously trying to negotiate with me?".

"Of course I am" Lily said, "Look woman, there's currently a lot of wolfsbane in my system so I can't run, so can you please untie me from these chains, they are making my skin go red, if you do that I promise to just sit here like a good girl and not ask any questions".

"And if I don't untie you?".

Lily smirked, "Then get ready to be annoyed by me, I'm not that", Lily gestured towards an unconscious Elena, "You won't be able to silence me that easily".

The mystery woman sighed, "Fine" she said, after a bit of thinking, "But try to run and these chains are going back on you".

"I can't run genius, I'm weak" Lily snapped, as the woman took the chains off, once all the chains were off Lily stood up and started stretching, all limbs feeling extremally stiff, "Oh, this feels so much better".

The mystery woman looked at Lily, something told her that Lily wasn't going to be easy to handle.

"How are the girls?" Elena heard, as she slowly gained conscious.

"One of them is still passed out, while the other is eavesdropping on us" Trevor replied.

The woman looked to the side to see Lily standing there, who gave her a wave, "Oh please continue, don't stop on my account" she said.

The mystery woman rolled her eyes at Lily and turned back to Trevor, "You didn't touch the doppelganger, did you?".

"Give me some credit" a slightly offended Trevor said, "So you called him?".

Lily suddenly stood up straight, realising there was someone else involved in her kidnapping.

"No, I called one of his contacts, you know how this works".

"Did you or did you not get the message to Elijah?" an annoyed Trevor asked.

"They say he got it".

"Wonderful, and what?" Trevor asked, while Lily stood there trying to remember if she ever pissed off someone named Elijah.

"So that's it, Trevor, he either got it or he didn't, we just have to wait".

"Look, it's not too late, we can leave both of them, we don't have to go through with this" a panicked Trevor said.

"I'm sick of running".

"Yeah?" Trevor asked, "Well, running keeps us from dying".

"Elijah's old school, if he accepts our deal, we're free".

"Ah" Lily said, gaining Trevor and his friend's attention, "Now I get what's going on here, you two pissed off someone very powerful, who now wants you dead so you two decided to make a deal with him, but what I'm kind of hazy on is what does that have to do with me and my enemy over there".

Before Trevor or the woman could reply, the floorboard creaking caught the attention of all the three supernatural creatures, they looked towards the noise and saw Elena standing there.

"Look who finally decided to join the party" Lily said.

"You" the mystery woman snapped, walking over to Elena, "There's nothing around here for miles, if you think you're getting out of this house, you're tragically wrong, understand?".

"Who's Elijah?" Elena asked curiously.

"He's your worst nightmare".

As the woman walked away from Lily and Elena, Lily closed her eyes and leaned her head against the wall, slowly but surely she can feel the effects of the wolfsbane reduce, she knew it wasn't long before her strength was back, she just hopes she manages to escape before this Elijah person shows up, cause something told that once Elijah was here, escaping was going to be impossible.

"Why are we here?" Elena asked the mystery vampire, while Lily walked over to the books scattered around the place, she picked one of the dusty books up and started going through it, leaving the questioning to Elena.

"You keep asking me questions like I'm gonna answer them".

"Why won't you?" an annoyed Elena asked.

"That's another one".

"You got us, okay?" Elena said, "It's not like me or Lily can go anywhere, the least you can do is tell me what you want".

"Actually, I can go, right after this wolfsbane effects reduces" Lily said, she looked towards the vampire, "You better hope this Elijah person comes before that, because if he comes after that, then all he's going to see here is two dead vampires".

"Me and Trevor are stronger then you".

Lily smirked, "Maybe" she said, "But I'm smarter, now answer Elena's question, why the freaking hell are we here? What do you want from us?".

"I personally want nothing, I'm just a delivery service".

"Delivery to who?" Elena asked confused, "Elijah?".

"Two points to the eavesdropper".

"Who is he?" Elena asked curiously, "Is he a vampire?".

"He's one of the vampires, the originals".

"What the hell is an original?" a confused Lily asked.

"Again with the questions, haven't the Salvatores been teaching either of you vampire history?".

"I'm a werewolf, I'm not interested in vampire stories" Lily replied.

"You know Stefan and Damon?" Elena asked.

"I know of them, a hundred years back, a friend of mine tired to set me up with Stefan, she said he was one of the good ones, more of a sucker for the bad boys, though, but I digress".

"A hero would sacrifice you for the world, a villain would sacrifice the world for you" Lily mumbled, remembering a quote she read when she was New Jersey, a quote that stayed with her even today, call her crazy but Lily wished to fall in love with a villain, in her eyes, everyone fell in love with the good guys, its given that the good guy always gets the girl, but Lily wants her love story to be unique, to be unlike any other story out there, she wants her story to be remembered even after she's gone, and what better way to do that by falling in love with the guy everyone hates.

"Who are the originals?" Elena asked, breaking Lily's chain of thoughts.

"Trevor and I have been running for five hundred years, we're tired, we want it over, we're using you two to negotiate ourselves out of an old mess".

"So, you're like old, old" Lily said.

Elena rolled her eyes at Lily, she then turned back to the mystery vampire, "But why us?" she asked.

"You, because you're a Petrova doppelganger, you're the key to breaking the curse".

"Curse?" Elena asked confused, "The Sun and the Moon curse?".

"You do now your history".

"But I clearly do not, what the hell is a sun and moon curse?" a extremely confused Lily asked.

"What do you mean, I'm the key?" Elena asked, ignoring Lily, "The moonstone is what breaks the curse".

"No, the moonstone is what binds the curse, sacrifice is what breaks it".

"Whose sacrifice are we talking about again?" Lily asked, suddenly very concerned for her life.

"The blood of the doppelganger, Elena is the doppelganger, which means, in order to break the curse, she's the one that has to die".

"Okay, so Elena's here to die, why am I here?" a confused Lily asked, while a shocked Elena stood there trying to take this new information in.

"Since the past two years, the witches community has gone haywire, because two years ago, all witches with magic felt a prophecy come alive".

"What prophecy?" an impatient Lily asked, though a little bit fear had started to rise in her heart as she remembered two years ago she had triggered her curse, "And what does it have to do with me?".

"The prophecy stated that one day a girl will come in The Originals life, she will be their redemption, this girl will become important to all the originals, however this girls fate is tied to one of the originals, she will be bring light into his darkness".

"Who is this girl?" Lily asked, though she had a little bit of idea, she just hoped it wasn't true, "And which original is she tied to?".

"We don't know which original that girl's fate is tied to, she has to find that on her own".

"Okay, but you do know who the girl is, right?" Lily asked.

The mystery vampire nodded, "I do, and so do you, Lily".

Realisation crossed over Lily's face, "Me" she whispered, "This prophecy is about me".

"Tell us more" Elena demanded, while a shocked Lily stood there, not knowing how to feel about her fate being tied to someone she didn't know.

"Captivity's made her pushy, eh?" Trevor said, entering the room and covering the windows with wooden planks to stop the sunlight from entering the mansion, "What do you wanna know, doppelicious?".

"Who are you running from?" Elena asked curiously.

"The Originals" Trevor replied.

"Yeah, she said that" Elena said, "What does the man?".

"The first family, the old world" Trevor clarified, "Rose and I pissed them off".

"Oh my god" a panicked Lily whispered, sitting down on the floor, her head in her hands, "My fate, a werewolves fate, is tied with the first vampires from the old world, why do I always get myself into these situations".

"Mm-mm" Rose protested, ignoring Lily's mini breakdown.

"Correction, I pissed them off" Trevor said, looking at Lily in amusement, "Rose had my back, and for over half a millennium, they've wanted us dead".

"What did you do?" Elena asked.

"He made the same mistake countless others did, he trusted Katerina Petrova" Rose informed.

"Katherine" Elena realised.

"The one and only" Rose said, "The first Petrova doppelganger".

"I helped her escape her fate, and now I've--sorry, we've been marked ever since" Trevor continued.

"Which is why we're not gonna make the same mistake again" Rose stated, walking out the room with Trevor, leaving behind two panicked teenagers.

"I think I'm going to faint" Lily whispered.

After realising that Rose and Trevor were not going to reveal anything else to them, both Elena and Lily walked back to the room they were captured in, as Elena sat on the couch, a paper caught her eye, a paper that wasn't there before, a confused Elena grabbed the paper and opened it, a smile formed on her face seeing who it was from and what she said.

"What's with the smile?" a confused Lily asked, sitting next to Elena, after all the information she got, Lily thought Elena would be crying, not smiling.

Instead of saying anything, Elena handed Lily the note, Lily looked at Elena in confusion but nonetheless read the note.

Stefan and Damon
are coming for you two Elena and Lily

A small smile formed on Lily's face when she read the letter, she knew Damon wasn't coming for her, he was coming here to rescue Elena, but she knew Stefan wanted to rescue both of them and that made Lily smile, the only thing is that by the time they get here, Lily feared she would have lost control and attack everyone in this house, including Elena and the original vampire coming for them.

"He's here, this was a mistake" a panicked Trevor said, entering the room.

"No, I told you I would get us out of this, you have to trust me" Rose said, trying to calm her friend down.

"No, he wants me dead, Rose!" Trevor yelled.

"He wants them more" Rose retorted, pointing towards Elena and Lily.

"I can't do this, you give them to her, he'll have mercy on you" Trevor snapped, "But I need to get out of here".

"Hey" Rose said, grabbing Trevor's hands, "What are we?".

Trevor took several deep breaths in order to calm himself down, "We're family" he finally said, "Forever".

Rose nodded and gave Trevor a reassuring smile just as there was a loud knock on the front door.

"You're scared" Elena observed.

"We're all scared Elena" Lily snapped, suddenly on edge, realising if she didn't do anything now then there was a chance she was never going to escape.

"Stay here with them, and don't make a sound" Rose instructed Trevor, she then walked out the room to greet Elijah.

Rose slowly walked down the stairs, infront of her was the original she had spent five hundred years running from, she was terrified he was going to kill her before she even got a chance to say one word, but she knew that was very unlikely, unlike the other originals Elijah was known to be the noble one, the original who will give you at least one chance to say your story, and Rose was hoping Elijah would give her that chance today.

"Rose-Marie" Elijah greeted, "Is there somewhere we can talk?".

Rose took a deep breath and pointed towards the room next to them, "Yes, in here" she replied, "You have to forgive the house".

"Oh, no, what's a little dirt?" Elijah said, entering the house, "I completely understand", Rose followed Elijah into the room, "So tell me, what is it that gives you the courage to call me?".

"I wanted my freedom, I'm tired of running" Rose said, "Are you in a position to grant me that?".

"I have complete authority to grant pardon to you and your little pet--What is his name these days? Trevor--if I so see fit" Elijah said.

"Katerina Petrova" Rose said, gaining Elijah's attention.

"I'm listening" Elijah said.

"She didn't burn in the church in 1864" Rose informed, as Elijah sat down on one of the chairs.

"Continue" Elijah urged.

"She survived" Rose continued.

"Where is she?" Elijah asked.

"You don't seem surprised by this" Rose observed.

"Oh, when you called and invited me into this armpit of civilization which is a mere three hours from the town we know as Mystic Falls I surmised it had everything to do with Katerina" Elijah informed, "Do you have her in your possession?".

"No, but I have better" Rose said, "I have her doppelganger".

"That's impossible" Elijah stated, "Her family line ended with her, I know that for a fact".

"Then the facts are wrong" Rose said, "But she's not the only thing we have".

"Who else do you have?" Elijah asked, slightly confused wondering who else would be important enough that Rose would bring her to negotiate with him.

"I'm sure you are aware of the rumors thats going around about your family's redemption finally showing up after thousand years of a spell down by a witch" Rose said, "The girl whose fate is tied to one of you".

Elijah looked at Rose, he stood up and took small threatening step towards her, his posture was enough to tell her that if he caught her lying, she was dead.

"Are you saying you have the girl?" Elijah asked, Rose nodded in response, "How do you know that girl is the right girl?".

"Because a Bennett witch touched her" Rose informed, "As soon as she touched her, she knew who she was and what she meant to your family".

"Take me to her" Elijah urged, wanting to meet the girl who was rumored to be his family's redemption, whose fate was tied to one of them.

"Elijah, you're a man of honor you're to be trusted, but I wanna hear you say it again" a slightly skeptical Rose said.

Elijah stared at Rose for a moment, "You have my word that I will pardon you" he finally said.

"Follow me" a relieved Rose said, finally taking Elijah to where Trevor was guarding Lily and Elena.

As soon as Elijah and Rose entered the room, Rose was shocked while Elijah was amused seeing the scene infront of them.

Just as the two vampires entered the room, they saw Lily, stick a piece of wood into Trevor's stomach, she then kicked the back of his knee, which cause him to fall to the floor on his knees, and then Lily elbowed him in the face, which cause his face to hit the ground, Lily then looked up to where Elijah and Rose was standing, her eyes glowing yellow.

As soon as Elijah's eyes connected with Lily he was fascinated by her, seeing what she did to Trevor, made Elijah realise why she was his family's redemption, she shared the same survival instinct as them, she didn't care who was standing infront of her, if she knew she was in danger, she wasn't going to go down without a fight, just like his family.

Elijah used his vampire speed to stand infront of Lily, who didn't even flinch, just kept glaring at the vampire infront of her, Elijah lifted his hand up to touch Lily's cheek, but before he could, Lily shoved his hand away.

"Don't touch me" Lily warned, causing a small smile to form on Elijah's face, clear indication that he liked Lily and her attitude.

"I'm Elijah" Elijah greeted, "What's your name?".

Lily stared at Elijah for a moment, after being sure that he wasn't going to attack her, she decided to introduce herself, "Lily".

"Nice to meet you Lily" Elijah said.

"I can't say the same about you" Lily retorted.

"Lily, stop" Elena warned, not wanting Lily's bluntness to land them in a even bigger problem.

Elena's voice gained Elijah's attention, for a moment he had forgotten about the doppelganger, but seeing her, he realised Rose wasn't wrong, she really was Katherine's doppelganger, but still Elijah had to be sure, so he speeded infront of her, causing Elena to flinch back in surprise, but Elijah ignored her surprise and brought his nose down to her neck.

"Human" Elijah realised, smelling Elena's blood, "It's impossible".

Lily looked at Elijah then at the exist, as Rose had gone to help Trevor the exist was currently not guarded meaning Lily could make a run for it, she would have helped Elena but it's every man for themselves in Lily's eyes and she knew if she stayed to help Elena then she was never going to escape, plus Stefan and Damon were coming for her, it wasn't like Lily was leaving her with no help, with that thought Lily tried to make a run for the exist, but almost like he was expecting that, Elijah quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled her to him, Lily's wrist now against her back and still in Elijah's hold.

"And where do you think you're going?" an amused Elijah asked.

"Away from you" Lily snapped, trying to get out of Elijah's grip but failing miserably.

"You won't be able to escape from me, Lily" Elijah informed.

Lily glared at Elijah, "Don't challenge me" she warned.

"And if I do?" Elijah asked.

"You'll lose, because I don't lose challenges" Lily replied.

Elijah smirked, "I guess today is your lucky day then".

While Lily stood there glaring at Elijah, Rose and Trevor glanced at each other, Elijah had clearly already taken a liking to Lily, they wondered what would happen to this likeness when Klaus enters the picture and it is finally revealed who Lily is tied to for the rest of her life.

Still holding on to Lily's wrist, Elijah turned to Elena, "We have a long journey ahead of, we should be going" he said.

A panicked Elena turned to Rose and Trevor, "Please, don't let him take us" she pleaded.

"One last piece of business, then we're done" Elijah said, he looked at Lily, "If you try to escape, I will catch you so spare both of us a hassle and stay put", Lily rolled her eyes at Elijah, who in return gave her a smile and then turned to Trevor, who had recovered from Lily's beating.

"I've waited so long for this day, Elijah" Trevor said, "I'm truly very sorry".

"Oh, no, your apology is not necessary" Elijah assured, pacing back and forth infront of the terrified vampire.

"Yes, yes, it is" Trevor insisted, "You trusted me with Katerina and I failed you".

"Well, yes, you are the guilty one" Elijah said, "And Rose aided you because she was loyal to you, that I honor", Elijah stopped infront of Trevor, "Where was your loyalty?" he asked.

"I beg your forgiveness" Trevor pleaded.

"So granted" Elijah said, making a small smile form on Trevor's face but before he could say anything, Elijah ripped his head off, causing Rose to let out wail of agony.

"You--".

"Don't, Rose" Elijah warned, "Now that you are free".

Lily looked at Trevor's body, from everything she gathered she figured out that Trevor had betrayed Elijah's trust and Rose helped him escape Elijah because she cared for him, call her cold hearted or a heartless bitch, but in Lily's eyes what Elijah did to Trevor was fair, trust was something that was really important to Lily, even more then love, if someone broke Lily's trust, it would hurt her a lot more then if someone broke her heart.

Elijah looked at Elena and Lily, "Come" he said.

"No, what about the moonstone?" Elena asked, gaining both Elijah and Lily's attention.

"What do you know about the moonstone?" Elijah asked Elena.

"I know that you need it, and I know where it is" Elena informed, trying to buy Stefan and Damon some time.

"Yes?" Elijah urged, wondering where Elena was taking this.

"I can help you get it" Elena offered.

"Tell me where it is" Elijah said.

"It doesn't work that way" Elena retorted.

"Are you negotiating with me?" a slightly annoyed Elijah asked, he then looked towards Rose for answers.

"It's the first I've heard of it" a devastated Rose informed.

Elijah looked at Elena and tried to compel her, when his eyes landed on her necklace, "What is that vervain doing around your neck?" he asked, ripping Elena's necklace from her neck and throwing it on the ground, he then grabbed her by the back of her head and once again started compelling her, "Tell me where the moonstone is".

"In the tomb underneath the church ruins" a dazed Elena informed.

"What is it doing there?" Elijah asked.

"It's with Katherine" Elena replied.

Lily wondered what was people's fascination with this moonstone was, first Mason, then Katherine, then then Salvatores, and now Elijah, what made a stupid rock so special?

Lily's chain of thoughts was broken when she and everyone else heard glass smashing, Lily smirked, looks like Elena's plan to buy time worked.

"What is that?" Elijah asked.

"I don't know" Rose replied.

"Who else is in this house?" Elijah asked Rose.

"I don't know" Rose repeated.

Elijah grabbed both Elena and Lily's arms and took them with him, "Move" he demanded.

As the group of four reached the foyer area, Elijah felt a vampire speed behind him, causing him to push Elena and Lily towards Rose, suddenly another vampire speeded behind the girls.

"Rose?" Elijah asked, thinking Rose double crossed him.

"I don't know who it is" Rose immediately defended, as a vampire speeded from top of the stairs to the room they were just in.

"Up here" the girls heard Stefan say.

Elijah speeded up the stairs only to see no one.

"Down here" they heard Damon say.

Elijah looked down but saw no one, suddenly a stake was lodged into his hand, Elijah removed the stake and when he looked infront of him, the three girls now gone.

Damon shoved Lily against a wall, his hand over her mouth, Lily shoved Damon away from him.

"I'm going to need a billion showers" Lily mumbled, wiping the places Damon touched.

"Shh" Damon snapped.

"You shh" Lily snapped back.

"Excuse me!" Elijah yelled, "To whom it may concern, you're making a grave mistake if you think that you can beat me, you can't, you hear that?", Elijah walked over to a wooden coat hanger, "I repeat, you cannot beat me, so I want the girls on the count of three", Elijah ripped the top part of the hanger, "Or heads will roll, do we understand each other?".

"I'll come with you" Elena said, standing on top of the stairs, gaining Elijah's attention, "Just please don't hurt my friends, they just wanted to help me and Lily out".

Elijah looked at Elena, then speeded infront of her, causing her to let out a surprised gasp and step back.

"What game are you playing with me?" a suspicious Elijah asked, knowing there was no way Elena would willing come with him, especially since a few moments ago she was begging Rose and Trevor to not let him take her.

Elena didn't say anything, she simply pulled out a vervain grenade that she was hiding, taking the pin out she threw it at Elijah and it exploded on his face, Elijah let out a angry scream but quickly recovered and started making his way towards Elena when Stefan ran down the stairs showing stakes at Elijah that seemed to not affect him, so Stefan jumped on Elijah and dragged him down the stairs, Elijah once again easily stood up and went to charge at Stefan, but before he could Damon showed up with the coat hanger, he shoved it into Elijah's chest and staked him to the wall.

Lily finally came out of the shadows and looked at Elijah's body in confusion, "That was way too easy" she whispered, the way Rose hyped Elijah, claiming he was going to be their worst nightmare, Lily felt suspicious that it was this easy for Damon and Stefan to defeat him.

"Lily" Stefan said, gaining the werewolf's attention.

Lily looked at Stefan, "Hey" she smiled.

"You okay?" Stefan asked, walking over to Lily and checked for any injures.

"I'm perfect" Lily assured.

"Good" Stefan whispered, "That's good".

"Don't worry Stefan, I'm not dying this soon, if I die then who will annoy you with stupid memes" Lily teased.

Stefan chuckled, "Exactly" he said, though he probably won't admit to anyone, he was actually worried for the werewolf whose messages and memes seem to invade his whole day.

Suddenly Rose entered the room, seeing Elijah dead she quickly ran away, Damon went to follow but Elena's voice stopped him, "Just let her go" she said.

Damon smiled seeing an unharmed Elena standing on top of the stairs, Elena smiled and quickly rushed down the stairs, just as Damon thought she was coming to him, Stefan left Lily's side and went to Elena.

"Hey, come here, you hurt? You okay?" Stefan asked, pulling Elena into his arms.

Elena simply hugged Stefan tightly, over his shoulder her eyes landed on a hurt Damon, "Thank you" she mouthed.

"You're welcome" Damon mouthed back.

Lily looked between the trio and realised she didn't want to be in the middle of whatever was happening here, so she simply walked out the door and decided to wait for them by the car, having enough drama for one day.

"You don't have to walk me to my door, Stefan" Lily said, "I'm not getting kidnapped again".

"Better safe then sorry" Stefan said, as the duo walked up the Forbes porch.

Lily gave Stefan a teasing smile, "You were worried about me, weren't you?".

Stefan looked at Lily, "Let's just say if something did happen to you, I would have missed your memes and rants" he replied.

Lily laughed, "Don't worry, my memes and rants aren't going anywhere anytime soon" she assured, knocking on her front door, "You're the only ones who take them seriously anyways".

Before Stefan could say anything, the front door was opened by Caroline and she lunged at her sister, pulling her into a tight hug.

"Please tell me you're okay" Caroline said into the hug.

"I'm okay Care Bear" Lily assured, hugging her sister back.

While still hugging Lily, Caroline looked over her should at Stefan, "Thank you" she mouthed, grateful for the youngest Salvatore as he returned her sister back to her safe and sound.

"You're welcome" Stefan mouthed back, smiling at the sisters bond.

"Greta!" Klaus yelled, walking around his mansion and looking for the witch, "Greta, where the bloody hell are you?!".

"Why the hell are you yelling for Klaus?" an annoyed Greta asked, entering the room.

"I need you do a locator spell on Elijah" Klaus said.

"Elijah?" a confused Greta, "Why do you want to know where Elijah is?".

"Because I just had another dream of Laya" Klaus informed.

"What was in the dream?" Greta asked, wondering what could have Klaus seen that made him want to find his brother, someone he hasn't talked to in years.

"I saw her talking to Elijah" Klaus revealed, "But it was weird, I saw Elijah and I saw Rose-Marie's faces but I couldn't see Laya's face, something was stopping me, but I did find out something about her".

"What?" Greta asked curiously.

"Laya doesn't go by Laya, she goes by Lily" Klaus revealed, "And my brother Elijah has met her, it's high time I find her as well, so do a locator spell on Elijah, when we find Elijah we will find Laya or Lily or whatever her name is, maybe then I will finally find out why I've been dreaming about her".

Greta nodded at Klaus and went to locate Elijah, realising the time that Klaus and Lily come face to face was coming closer and closer, their story was about to start and the world was about to witness how the most dangerous original loses his heart to a girl no one thought could love.
