Recap~
" ...along with all his possessions. The Ring is yours now. Put it somewhere out of sight." Gandalf gets his hat and staff and makes for the door.
"Where are you going?" Fordo asks.
"There are some things that I must see to."
" What things?"
" Questions. Questions that need answering!" Gandalf sheers as he looks at Frodo.
" But you've only just arrived! I don't understand. " Frod cries out. Gandalf sigh.
" Neither do I. Keep it secret. Keep it safe. " He says as he darts out the door.

Present~

-your POV-

Gandalf had left for something that I dint even know and now I and Frodo are in the Green dragon, a bar.  Then my ears pick up the sound of stomping hooves. It stops and a hissing voice is heard from the rider. I growl and straighten my posture.

"Shire. Baggins." The creature hiss. A hobbit then answers worried:
" There's no Bagginses around here. They're all up in Hobbiton."
The horse brays away.

-at the Green Dragon-

All the hobbits are drinking and singing. I hold my ears a little, trying to block out the sound of the Nazgûls.

"Hey, ho, to the bottle I go to heal my heart and drown my woe" the hobbits sing. Frodo is skipping around with ale mugs in hand while Pippin and Merry are dancing atop a table. I laugh a little at their dance but do nothing. Frodo comes with a cup of water to me and places it in front of me. I nod as thanks and drink it. I then hear 3 other hobbits talking about something.
"There's been some strange folk crossing the Shire. Dwarves and others of a less than savory nature." The hobbit says. Then Gaffer cuts in.
"War is brewing."
I then notice that Sam is looking at a young hobbit girl, I think her name is Rosie. I chuckle and give him a small nudge in the side.
"Don't worry, Sam. Rosie knows an idiot when she sees one." Frodo says as I nod, smiling. Sam stops short and turns to us.
"Does she?" He asks as his eyes are wide. I and Frodo just laugh.

-back in Bag end-

Frodo, Sam and I stand in front of the gate.
"G'night, Sam." He says as he open the gate.
" Good night, Mr. Frodo, and Lady Khaleesi.
