(Torn's POV)

Glynda: Begin!

Time to show everyone that I should be the leader of team (Y)TNS and not (Y/N). I made some wind surround my arms and I ran forward. (Y/N) put his arms up in a defensive position. I punched them and he was sent back.

(Y/N): Let's see how you handle this.

Fire started to come from his body. He waved his arm and shot out a wave of fire. I waved my arm and shot out a wave of wind. Our attacks connected and they cancelled each other out.

Torn: Time to finish this.

I made a tornado around me. It is calm in the inside, but I can't say the same for the outside. I saw some flames trying to get through the tornado, but they quickly disappeared. I shot the tornado forward at (Y/N).

Torn: I win.

(Y/N) was picked up by the tornado. I jumped up and punched him in the face. I then jammed my thumb in his eye, just for good measure. He was sent to the wall and his aura broke.

Glynda: That's the match! Torn Adoes is the winner!

I landed on my two feet and started to walk back to my seat.

(Readers POV)

I got up and saw that Torn is walking back to his seat. I held my hand over my eye. It is hurting pretty bad.

(Y/N): He didn't even try to help me up.

I walked back to my seat and sat down.

(Y/N): Good match Torn.

He looked at me and scoffed. I looked down. I felt someone place their hand on my shoulder.

Sky: You ok?

(Y/N): I'm fine.

Glynda chose two more students to fight.

(Time skip)

Me, Sky, and Natura are in our dorm. We are just sitting on our beds. Torn left awhile ago and I don't know where he went. Sky got up and sat down next to me.

Sky: I noticed that you have been down lately. What's wrong?

(Y/N): It's Torn. He's been really... confusing.

Sky: How is he confusing?

(Y/N): He's just mean to only me all the time. I let him win our match and he won't even speak to me.

Natura: You let him win your guys match?

(Y/N): Yeah, I let everyone win.

Sky: Why?

(Y/N): I do it so everyone feels better about themselves.

Sky: That's not the point of combat class.

Natura: You don't have to let others win.

Sky: Why don't you try?

(Y/N): Well, when I first unlocked my semblance, I went into a blind rage and I destroyed anything in my way. I quickly snapped out of it and my mom and dad told me to never let it happen again. So I don't try when fighting to make sure I don't lose control again.

Sky and Natura are in thought.

Sky: Come on.

She got up and pulled me off the bed.

Sky: We are going to fight and you are actually going to try.

(Y/N): Are you sure? What if I lose my mind again?

Sky: It will be fine. Now, come on.

(Time skip)

I am standing in a open field. Sky is standing across from me and Natura is watching from the side.

Sky: Don't hold back.

(Y/N): Alright.

Natura: Begin!

Sky flew up and made her bow out of light. She started to shoot at me. I jumped to the side and dodged the arrows. I made some fire in my hand and shot it at Sky. She made a shield and blocked the fire. She swooped down and headed right for me. I jumped over her, but she grabbed my leg.

Sky: Want to go for a ride?

(Y/N): Not really.

Sky: Too late.

She flew up while holding my leg. I was about to attack her, but she threw me up. She went up to me and grabbed me by my upper body. She started to fly down towards the ground. Sky let go of me and I slammed into the ground, head first.

Sky: Get serious already. That's the whole reason why we are fighting now.

All I see is darkness. I felt around and I figured out that my head is in the ground. I pulled my head out and spat out some dirt. I looked up at Sky.

(Y/N): You want me to go all out?

Sky: That's right. Unless you're too chicken.

(Y/N): You know what? Fine!

Flames started to burst off of my body. Fire started to spread across the grass. I rushed over to Sky. I grabbed her face and slammed her down into the ground. She made a ball of light and it exploded. I was sent back, but I quickly got back on my feet.

Sky: That's what I like to see.

I jumped up and made a spear of fire in my hand. I threw it at Sky. She dodged it. I smiled and she looked confused. The spear exploded behind her. She was sent to my direction. I made a ball of fire in my hand and I slammed it into Sky's face. She was sent back pretty far. She landed on the ground and got up.

Sky: See? If you try, I can't even lay a finger on you.

I made more fire and it is starting to spread more and more. Sky shot a light arrow at me, but I caught it with my hands. I crushed it.

Sky: I think that's enough. You are so much better when try.

I threw another fire spear at her. She dodged it and looked at me.

Sky: I said we can stop now.

I didn't say anything and I rushed over to her. I was about to punch her, but something tripped me. I looked down at my leg to see a vine wrapped around it.

Natura: You really are losing your mind. You need to calm down.

I grabbed the vine and tried to get it off. It wasn't moving a bit. I tried biting it, but my bites did nothing to the vine. I heard some footsteps. I looked over to see team RWBY walking over to us.

Yang: Are you guys training?

Ruby: Can we join?

I saw Weiss and my mind started to clear up. My flames started to die down. My fire disappeared and most of the grass that was once green are now black and charred. The vine around my leg loosened up and I got my leg out of it.

Blake: The grass is all burnt now.

Sky: Hey Natura! You can restore the grass, right?

I looked at Natura and she shook her head no.

Natura: I can't restore burnt plants. The whole plant has to be intact for my to change it.

I got up and walked up Sky.

(Y/N): Sorry for almost hurting you.

Sky: Are you kidding me? You don't need to apologize. It was cool to see you using most of your power.

I sighed in relief.

Yang: Can I have a few sparring matches?

Sky: Sure. I won't be holding back.

They got ready and was about to fight. I just walked over to everyone else and just watched the following fight. I sat down next to Weiss.

Weiss: I hope you did well in your fight with Sky.

(Y/N): Thanks Weiss.

I smiled at her and she smiled back.
