(Torn's POV)

Me, Sky, Natura, and that idiot (Y/N) are standing outside of our dorm room. Glynda is using a fire extinguisher to put out the fire (Y/N) caused. Glynda putted our the fire and sighed. She turned to us.

Glynda: Don't let this happen again. Since it was an accident, I will let this slide. Don't do something like this again.

(Y/N): Sorry.

Glynda: You don't have to worry about it. Nothing, other the plants, were destroyed.

Glynda used her semblance to get rid of all the white stuff from the fire extinguisher. She walked away and we all walked back inside the dorm.

Torn: Why would you make a fire?

(Y/N): Natura made a bunch of vines. Fire beats grass, so I figured it would work.

Torn: Where did you hear that fire beats grass?

(Y/N): In a video game where you catch cute creatures and fight other cute creatures.

Torn: This isn't some kind of video game! How dense can you be?!

He really is an idiot. I swear every time he talks, he makes me think he is even stupider. We heard a knock on the door. (Y/N) walked up to the door and Weiss was there holding a box.

(Y/N): Hey there Weiss. What's with the box?

Weiss: I want to thank you for a great time in Vale. I noticed that your clothes burned after our match in combat class. I think this will help.

Weiss handed the box to (Y/N). He opened it and pulled out some clothes.

Weiss: These clothes can withstand fire really well. So you don't have to worry about burning them.

(Y/N): Thanks Weiss.

Weiss left. Why would Weiss want to hangout with someone like (Y/N)? She doesn't need to even talk to (Y/N), let alone look at him. (Y/N) walked into the bathroom.

Natura: All my flower are now burnt.

Torn: Thank our intelligent leader for that.

I said in a obvious sarcastic tone.

Sky: He was just trying to help with the plant problem. You don't have to be mean to him.

Torn: Whatever.

(Y/N) walked out the bathroom wearing the clothes that Weiss gave him.

(Y/N): These clothes feel so nice and comfortable.

He sat down on his bed.

(Readers POV)

I saw that Natura placed a new flower by my picture, since all her other ones are now ash. I not that Torn is looking at me. His stare is cold and unsettling. I tried to ignore it.

(Y/N): Hey Sky. What is the big thing you were working on earlier?

Sky: I can't tell you yet. You will just have to wait.

(Y/N): Man. I was hoping to see it.

(Time skip)

Me and my team are heading to the cafeteria. We entered and got our food. We walked to the table that team RWBY are sitting at. We sat down with them.

(Y/N): Hey guys.

Ruby: Hello. How are you guys so far?

(Y/N): Classes were pretty boring. At least we are half way through the day.

I started to eat my food. This food is pretty good.

Weiss: What did you think of the clothes I gave you the other day?

(Y/N): They are great. They feel nice. I went outside and they didn't burn when I used my semblance.

Weiss: I'm glad you like them. They are made by the best clothes makers in Atlas.

Yang: Man Weiss. You two must of had a great time at Vale for you get him something like that.

(Y/N): We went to a ramen shop and to an arcade.

Ruby: Sounds like you two had fun.

Weiss: It was fun.

I started to eat my food again. Everyone else was talking and having conversations, all but Torn. I decided to try to start a conversation with him.

(Y/N): Did you do anything interesting lately Torn?

Torn: No.

He sounded like he didn't want to talk. I just looked down and continued to eat my food. He started to talk to Weiss. It sounded like he didn't want to talk earlier, so why is he fine to talk to someone else right away?

Sky: Are you ok (Y/N)?

(Y/N): I'm fine.

Sky: You want to talk about it?

(Y/N): Later.

Sky: Alright.

(Time skip)

We are in combat class.

Glynda: Do I have any volunteers for a match?

I raised my hand.

Glynda: Ok then. Does anyone want to fight (Y/N)?

No one raised their hands. After a bit of waiting, Torn raised his hand.

Glynda: Alright. (Y/N) and Torn get down here for your match.

We got up from our seats and walked down to the arena. Torn looks pretty serious about this match.

(Y/N): Good luck Torn.

Torn: I do not need your concern.

Why is he so hostile? He got ready for our fight.

Glynda: I hope you two are ready. Begin!
