(Readers POV)

Yang walked over and got in front of Neo.

Yang: Why is she here?

She tried to punch Neo, but Neo shattered and appeared behind Yang.

(Y/N): They need our help with something.

Natura stood up and got her axe out.

Natura: It was a good idea to bring them to us (Y/N). They can't beat all of us at once.

Torn: Listen. We can all fight later. I'm here for something serious.

Sky: I don't know. Why should we help you?

Ruby: Think about it. It's Torn. He wouldn't want help from others. This has to be serious.

Torn: Wow. I can't believe Ruby has the most brains here.

Yang: Just spill it out already! Why are you two here?

Torn: I need help killing Salem.

Everyone went quiet. I looked down. Torn doesn't know that Salem can't be destroyed. I put my hand on his shoulder.

Torn: Oh, and Neo wants to thank (Y/N) for killing Cinder.

She wants to thank me? I looked over at her and she smiled at me. I looked over at Weiss. We need to tell everyone else what we learned. Weiss nodded at me, like she know exactly what I was thinking.

Weiss: Let's continue this outside.

Everyone nodded and we all went outside, besides Jaune's sister and her kid.

Jaune: Why do you want to talk outside Weiss.

Weiss: We learned quite a lot when we got separated.

(Time skip)

Weiss just got done telling everyone else about the truth about Salem and Ozpin.

Jaune: She... can't be destroyed.

Torn: Dammit!

Torn punched the side of the house in frustration.

Torn: What are we going to do now?!

Everyone looked down at the ground, trying to think of something. An idea popped into my mind.

(Y/N): I have an idea!

Everyone looked up at me.

Blake: What is it?

Torn: I swear if it's from a video ga-

(Y/N): I've seen it from a video game.

Torn: Oh my god. Shut it now!

(Y/N): Here me out. Salem can't be destroyed, but that doesn't mean she can't be beaten.

Sky: Then how do we beat Salem?

(Y/N): I remember a blonde guy in green, with the help of a princess, seal away an evil king.

Torn: Ok big brain. How do we seal Salem away?

(Y/N): I... don't know. In the game, they got help from seven ghost people to seal away the king.

Torn: Thanks for wasting time!

Man, I thought I had something there. What else could we do?

Sky: (Y/N) does have a point. Salem can still be beaten.

Nora: We just have to figure out how.

Ruby: We shouldn't worry to much about this right now. We need to find out a way to get to Atlas.

Oscar: Yeah, we should worry about that right now.

Ruby: We should start at the military base tomorrow.

Jaune: About that. We already tried that, and it... didn't go... super great.

Yang: Come on, it couldn't be that bad...

(Time skip) (Weiss's POV)

We are all walking up to the military base. We are about to walk in, but the gates slammed shut. Two guards stood behind of the gates.

Yang: Come on! You didn't even hear us out!

Guard 1: Our orders are clear: The Mistral-Atlas border is closed!

Guard 2: Please!

Guard 1: Have a good day!

Qrow: Hey, if you don't wanna believe that I'm friends with Ironwood-

Guard 1: General Ironwood!

Qrow: Whatever. Look, we have Weiss Schnee with us and we're trying to get her back home safely.

I looked down. I still don't want to go to Atlas. I felt a hand placed on my shoulder. I looked up and saw (Y/N).

Guard 1: Very well!

Guard 2: You may speak with our commanding officer!

Guard 1: We will fetch her at once!

They turned around in sync and ran off.

(Y/N): ...Those guys are weird.

Ruby: Super weird.

Maria: I... think I know this commanding officer.

(Y/N): That's great! They will definitely help us if we are with their friend!

Maria: I wouldn't use the word friend.

Weiss: Acquaintances?

Maria: Not quite.

Blake: Colleagues?

Maria: Warmer.

Yang: Enemies?

Maria: That's the one!

Oscar: Wait, what?!

Maria: Oh, yes. I come through here about once every ten years to get my eyes checked up in Atlas. You bring outside cashews on one flight, and suddenly you're placed on the additional screening list for life!

Torn: This can only go badly.

Maria: Now, now, let's not give up hope yet... Maybe she's dead!

I looked ahead and the two guards walked up to the gate.

Guard 1: Introducing!

Guard 2: Special operative!

Guard 1: Caroline Cordovin!

A short old woman walked past the two guards. She looked at Maria.

Caroline: Witch.

Maria: She-devil.

Caroline: I've seen you've chosen larger contraband to smuggle this time.

Maria: Oh, Cordo. You know they say time changes people, but I see you've still got that stick right up your-

Maria is interrupted by Ruby putting her hand over Maria's mouth. (Y/N) leaned towards me.

(Y/N): Where is the stick?

I just sighed and shook my head.

Weiss: I'll tell you later.

Ruby: Hello Miss Cordovin. My name is Ruby Rose, and I was wondering if you would hear us out about-

Caroline: I've already heard what your other little friends had to say, Miss Rose.

She looked behind us and saw Jaune, Ren, and Nora.

Caroline: I thought I told you to leave!

Nora: And I thought I told you that we won't rest until you let us through!

Ren: It's nice to see you again.

(Y/N): What did they even do?

Caroline looked up at (Y/N).

Caroline: Have I seen you before?

(Y/N) got a surprised look on his face.

Caroline: Yeah, you're (Y/N) (L/N).

(Y/N) quickly looked away. If this lady says anything about him being a monster, I might just send her flying.

Caroline: I must say it's a shame.

(Y/N) looked back at her.

(Y/N): A shame?

Caroline: Of what people say about you. It's quite upsetting to hear people hate on a child. It says quite a lot about the world we live in.

(Y/N): Oh... yeah.

Caroline: Are you doing ok? I can only imagine the mental toll this has taken on you.

(Y/N): I'm fine... thank you for asking.

Caroline is like a completely different person. She was acting all strict earlier and now she is super concerned about (Y/N).

(Y/N): Do you think we can go to Atlas?

Caroline: I'm sorry, but the answer is no. I would like to help you, but I have a job to do.

She looked at me.

Caroline: If Miss Schnee has truly come to her senses and wishes to return to her family, then, of course, the Atlas military will escort her home. But the kingdom will not be responsible for her "friends" of... questionable character.

Weiss: What is that supposed to mean?

Caroline: It means we're done here.

She looked at (Y/N) again.

Caroline: I hope you do fine.

(Y/N): Oh, yeah. You too.

She turned around and started to walk away.

Ruby: So... where are we going now?

Torn: I have an idea.

He walked up to the gate.

Torn: Hey Caroline!

She stopped and turned around to look at him.

Torn: We're all criminals!

What is he doing?! Everyone, but Neo, looked really concerned.

Sky: Torn-

Torn: I got this.

Caroline: What do you mean?

Torn reached in his pocket and pulled out a wanted poster of him.

Torn: I'm a very wanted man. This whole group has been helping me hide.

Caroline walked up and took the wanted poster. She looked over it.

Caroline: Very well.

She turned to the guards.

Caroline: Arrest them!

Natura: Torn! What the hell?!

Torn just smiled at us. The gates opened up and the guards walked us through. We are all put into a bullhead.

Caroline: Ironwood will be happy to see you behind bars in the highest security prison in Atlas.

Torn: Whatever.

The door closed and the bullhead took off.

Jaune: Torn! You idiot!

Jaune grabbed him and slammed him into the wall.

Torn: Hey! You guys should be thanking me!

Blake: Thanking you?

Torn: Yeah idiots! We're going to Atlas!
