Third person:

As soon as the bell rang Eren sprung out of his chair, shoved his stuff in his bag and pelted out of the classroom. He speed walked down the corridors, hearing whispering and sniggering which he decided to ignore when suddenly his phone vibrated against his leg. Slowing down slightly Eren took his phone out of his pocket and saw that it was from Mikasa. "In the cafeteria at the back, brought a friend along too if u don't mind . -Mikasa xx" ' Well at least she's made a friend..' Eren sighed as he stuffed his phone back in his jean pocket and headed towards the cafeteria. As soon as he arrived he could see Mikasa waving at him from a far corner, she had a girl with brown hair and a... potato? stuffed in her mouth sat next to her. 'O-k..' He thought as he headed towards their table.

He smiled awkwardly at Mikasa's friend before shoving his bag under the table and sitting down. "Eren, this is Sasha." Mikasa explained gesturing to the potato girl. Sasha smiled with the potato still in her mouth and waved. "Uhhh, hi?" Eren said nervously. 'This girl is wierd.. Well at least Mikasa has a friend.' He thought. Eren reached down to his bag to get his lunch out but found that it wasn't there. he picked the bag up and desperately searched for the lunch but it was no where to be seen. Eren smacked the palm of his hand against his forehead and said frustratedly, "Oh for the love of pete, I've only gone and left my lunch at the flat!" Mikasa smirked and said nonchalantly,

"Don't worry Eren, you can have some of mine." She pushed her tray towards him.

"Thanks Mikasa, I owe you one.. wait no I don't because that was the money from my piggy bank!" Eren glowered at her.

"Well at least I was nice enough to share it with you, god." Eren just huffed and picked at some grapes on the tray. Unfortunately Sasha got the wrong idea, seen as we were eating of the same plate and said,

"Soo... you two are going out?" Eren and Mikasa looked at each other and laughed hysterically. Eren's sides where hurting so much he almost fell of the chair.

"No no no... we're brother and sister." He explained wiping a tear from his eye. "Oohh.. my bad" Sasha shrugged and went back to eating her potato.

As the three where talking, a boy with blonde hair fashioned in a bowl-cut walked over with his tray. He tapped on Eren's shoulder, and as Eren turned around the boy's cheeks went a bit pink.

"Uh s-sorry, there is no where to sit.. do you mind if I sit with you guys?" He asked innocently. His voice was quite high pitched, and looked as though he could be upset easily.

"Um sure, if you want." Eren said looking over to Mikasa who nodded. "Thanks" The boy gave him a small smile and slipped into the chair next to Eren. "My name's Armin" He said putting has hand out to Eren, who awkwardly shook it.

"Uh, I'm Eren." He said nervously. Armin smiled, and Eren saw that his eyes flickered over to his scar.

"Gosh!" Armin exclaimed,

"That's a big scar Eren! How'd you get it?" It was a sensitive subject for Eren so he just said politely,

"W-well I'd rather not say to be honest." Eren gave Armin a small smile and glanced at Mikasa who was glaring at Armin. Eren raised an eyebrow at her and nudged her leg with his knee as If to say 'it's fine'. Once she had received the message she stopped glaring.

"Oh, I understand, sorry." He said, scared that he had offended Eren. Suddenly Levi and his gang started hollering at Eren trying to get his attention and calling him name's like Scarface, and Brat. Eren just ignored it and Mikasa looked like she was going to explode on them any minute, but soon enough they got bored and stopped. After that everyone sat in silence munching on their food until Sasha started talking.

"Soo.. we should all be friends, cuz' you know everyone else here are just a judgemental idiots." Eren looked over at Mikasa for a third time who said smiling,

"Yeah, we should! It'll be great.. won't it Eren?!" She jabbed her elbow in his ribs which made him flinch, 'I'll get her later.' He thought before saying,

"Yeah, sure."

"Yay!" Sasha squealed making Armin jump slightly. Everyone laughed at the look of shock on Armin's face, and after that their conversation flowed nicely, until they were interrupted by the bell. Everyone stood up, collected their things, and dumped the leftover food in the bin.

"Hey Eren,"

"Hm?"

"What do you have next?"

"Uh.." Eren paused to look at his timetable, "P.E."

"So do I!" Armin said smiling, "Wanna be partners?" He asked shuffling his feet on the floor.

"Sure!" Eren replied, grinning.

"Thanks!" Armin said smiling, tucking his chair under. Eren turned to Mikasa who was chatting with Sasha,

"Hey Mikasa me and Armin are going to our next lesson, wait for me outside the reception at the end of the day."

"Okay." She said and walking off with Sasha. I shrugged and set off to P.E with Armin. 'Despite getting bullied by Levi, today wasn't actually that bad, at least I've got a friend now.' He thought as Armin chatted away in his ear all the way to the P.E hall.
