Armin P.O.V

Three words. What, the, fuck? I had just hung up on Eren and was tugging my shoes on. 'Levi self harmed? Maybe.. I don't know.' I ran into the kitchen where my grandfather was and grabbed my car keys.

"Pops, Eren's friend has just been injured and I need to go to the hospital to control Eren. I doubt they will let him in the emergency room and you know how he can get sometimes."  I dashed back out into the hallway and grabbed my coat.

"Oh dear, Ok just be careful Armin!" Pops shouted from the kitchen.

"I will!" I shouted back, opening the front door and running over to my car. Pops came out into the hallway to wave me off. 'Typical, how can he stay so calm?' I waved and jumped into my car, I shoved my keys into the ignition and the car roared to life. I slammed the door shut and put my seat belt on. Suddenly the car started coughing and spluttering.

"Bloody hell!" I huffed slamming my hands on the wheel. I put my foot on the excelorator (An: I can't spell) and revved. After a while the car started and I backed up down my drive way.  'In the name of the lord, why this day of all days!' I sighed as I drove down the road, my speed increasing a little more than it should. I sped down down the highway and turned a corner. I heard a siren behind me so I looked into the mirror. A police car was chasing me down the road, and the officer inside was waving his hands guestering for me to pull over.

"Oh for the love of pete!" I yelled, yanking the steering wheel and driving into the lay by. The officer also pulled in and he jumped out his car, walking up to mine with a ticket book. 'Well shit..'

He tapped on my window and I winded it down.

"Sorry sir but you where driving over the speed limit so I'm going to have to give you a ticket, and three poi-"

"Yes, whatever!! Just hurry up! My friend's boyfriend is dying?!" I shoved my fringe out of my eyes in annoyance.

"Oh dear. What a shame." He said smirking, and writing something in his notebook. My hands gripped onto the steering wheel, making my knuckles go white.

"Excuse me, Officer-" I looked at his name tag, "Reiner, but I think you shouldn't talk like that about someone dying." I said. I was fuming, and about ready to smash his face in if he said anything else.

"Oh well sorr-y" He said sarcasticly, ripping out a ticket and handing it to me through the window."

"Shut the fuck up, before I smash your face in." I sang under my breath.

The Reiner guy coughed and said, "Whatever, you can go now."

"Thank you." I spat winding up my window and driving back onto the road.

I drove away from the police man, but as I did I stuck my middle finger up at him in the mirror. He happily returned the gesture and I snorted in amusement. 'Some police man.' I sighed as I continued to drive to the hospital. When I arrived, I swung into a random parking space and jumped out of the car. I slammed the door and jogged to the front door. As I got closer I could hear shouting and screaming from inside. 'Eren..' I shook my head and ran in and was about to run up to Eren but Mikasa was already there. She was tugging him backwards as he kicked and screamed.

"NO!! LET ME IN WITH HIM!! LEVII!!" He screeched. I ran up to them And pinned his arms to his side and dragged him back. Together, Mikasa and I managed to get Eren into a seat in the waiting room. Mikasa was clinging onto him and stroking his hair as he hoarsely sobbed.

"Levi.. Levi" He cried. I sat next to him and put my hand on his back.

"Hey Eren." I said quietly. Eren grumbled and took his head away from Mikasa's shoulder to face me. His eyes were really red and puffy and there was snot everywhere.

"W-what." He answered wiping his nose on his sleeve.

"Levi will be fine. He's gonna fight for you. 'Kay?" Eren nodded and hugged me, burying his face in my chest, making my t-shirt all wet.

Eren P.O.V

I hugged Armin, burying my face in his chest. He held onto me with a firm grip. 'Armin always gave the best hugs. But not as good as Levi's..' I clung onto his t-shirt, and as wierd as it sounds; I pretended he was Levi. It was the only thing that could keep my brain sane. I could feel Mikasa rubbing my back and realised, 'Where's Uncle?' I lifted my self off Armin who smiled at me reassuringly, and turned back to Mikasa.

"Mika, where's Uncle?" I hadn't used that nickname before, but from the look on her face it seemed that she liked it.

"He's on his way. The hospital called and I picked it up. They said that you were with Levi and was upset that they wouldn't let you in so I ended the call, told Uncle and ran here." She smiled at me and ran her hand through my hair, just like mother did when we were younger.

"You ran all the way here? But that's a mile away!" I croaked, blinking and more tears rolled down my face.

"I'd do anything for you, Eren." She grinned, pulling me into another hug. I felt like I could burst into tears and scream my heart out but I didn't. I just hugged her back and held onto her for ages. Suddenly Uncle burst into the hospital. He looked around frantically and saw me hugging Mikasa.

"Eren! Oh my god are you ok?!" He ran over to me and I got up and threw myself onto him.

"Uncleeee!!" I cried into his chest. "Levi is gonna die!! I don't want him to die! I love him!!" Uncle picked me up like a child and walked over to the chair I was sat on. He sat inbetween Mikasa and Armin and placed me on his lap. I clawed at his t-shirt and sobbed as he rocked me. It carried on like this until two doctors and a nurse rushed out.

"Would Eren Jaeger please come to the emergency room, Levi Ackerman isn't going to survive, and is on his last breaths. He wants to say something! Please hurry!"

'OMG NO!!' I jumped up and shoved the nurses out the way and crashed into the emergency room.

"LEVI!!" I screamed running over to him. He had been cleaned up, his arm was in a bandage which was still seeping with blood, and he was hooked up to at least five different machines.

"Levi, Levi, Levi!" I cried grabbing onto his other arm and gripping it. Levi opened his eyes and slowly turned his head to face me.

"E-ren.." He rasped.

"Yes! I'm here Levi!" I said worridley, my eyes glistening with tears.

"I- will try.... my best..." He whispered.

"I know you will! You're not gonna die!"

"Eren.... Kiss me.. One last time.." A single tear escaped his silver eyes. I leant over him and placed my lips on his. They were soft despite his condition and could stay like this forever, but I wanted him to survive so I pulled away to let him breath.

"You know Levi.. You're eyes, they look like Ice. Levi faintly smiled and closed his eyes.

"And yours... Look like Fire.. They're beautiful. Especially your scar."

My hand automatically reached up to my scar, but Levi raised his hand and pulled it back down. He limply held onto my hand.

"Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.. Not even me.." He sighed peacefully.

"I won't.." I started to cry again, my tears dripping on his face.

"I love you, Eren."

"I love you too, Levi." As I said it, Levi's chest rose and fell, as he let out a long sigh finally falling to his peace. "I love you more than words can express." I whispered, tears now streaming down my face. The heart monitor beside us let out a long beep. He was gone...

"Levi..." I croaked, letting go of his hand and resting my head on his chest. I cried and cried, listening to the sound of the emptiness that was his heart, only this time it wasn't beating.
