If you're looking for a funny, but amazing anime, watch Yuri!!! On Ice. It's about Yuri, a figure skater, trying to win the Grand Prix championship after a devastating defeat!
It's really good!! (*cough* Not a Yaoi, but...it does have a same-sex couple *TOS TOS*)
Even after watching it THREE TIMES, it's still incredibly hilarious!
The ending......I'm not going to spoil it, but I will say that I think they could've done a bit more when it came to the ending.
Overall, it's amazing!

If you want something that's a bit of a mystery, Mekakucity Actors is a great choice!
It revolves around a select group of people who have supernatural (is that the right word? Odd powers? Powers?). Powers. XD
Their eyes change colour when using this power.
It also has an AMAZING soundtrack!!
If you've seen Yuri!!! On Ice, you'll know what there is a lot of music used for the performances; Mekakucity Actors has a ton of music, which tells part of the story.

It's a very good anime.
Animation is 10/10.
The visuals are awesome.
