I heard noises coming from my kitchen last night. 

GAH!

I just stayed as still as possible with my head under the sheets. 

And, grabbing my glasses in pitch black was hard XD 

I grabbed my cat and just held him for dear life. o-o

He eventually got pissed at me and I was like, "Come back here and love me!" ;     -     ;

Also, I think the worst thing about living in the south is all these weird people around you.
