-Lucy's P. O. V.-

I would ask how lucky I am to be in the same homeroom with Natsu and a few other friends, but my best friend, Levy isn't in this class! And when we arrived, a few certain people were waiting for me.

"Lady Lucy!"

"Princess, is it time for punishment?"

"Hey, baby."

I sweatdropped. "Hey, guys. Sagittarius, saluting as always. Virgo, no punishment. Cancer, no running with scissors."

The three nodded and took their seats. We took ours as well. Mavis got a window seat and so did I, sitting in front of her. Natsu sat to my right with Zeref behind him and next to Mavis. Erza sat next to Natsu with Jellal behind her. Virgo was placed in front of me, probably to torment me, next to her was Sagittarius and then Cancer. Why are the same 10 weird kids scattered throughout my classes? Even Yukino gets off easier, she only gets two.

"So, Lucy, did you do anything particularly interesting this summer?" Mavis asked with her usual smile.

I turned around to face her. "Not really. I finished watching the first season of Attack On Titan."

"Sie sind das Essen und wir sind die Jäger!"

Erza had done the salute and started singing the opening while her eyes glimmered. We rolled our eyes. She loved that anime so much, we gave her the nickname "Titania."

"That's good. But now you know the agony of waiting for the second season!" Zeref added. We all liked anime. Well, most of us. A couple of us hadn't entered the amazing world of Japanese cartoon.

"I caught up on The Walking Dead." Jellal said, leaning closer to us so we could hear him over Erza's singing.

Natsu slapped a hand over his mouth. "Woah, bro. No spoilers. I haven't seen Season 6 yet." (That goes for you comments, too. I haven't seen Season 6, either.)

"We should probably wait until lunch to talk about this in detail so the others can join, and also I wanted to bring up something important." Zeref said, his expression was calm, but focused.

"What's the matter, bro?" Natsu asked, releasing his hand from Jellal's mouth.

"Well, remember back in our freshmen year when we went on that camping trip with the juniors early on in the year?"

We all nodded. "Yeah, the teachers said it was all about 'breaking the ice' with each other and such. it was like the third week of school. It wasn't a bad three days." I responded.

"Plenty of s'mores!" Natsu added. He always thinks about food.

"What's your point?" I continued.

"Can't you guys see?" Erza had stopped singing, somehow without us noticing, to ask that question.

"I can see, too." Jellal added.

Zeref grinned, slyly. "See? This is why you two are soulmates, you both think the same!" The pair blushed, pretending to ignore his comment.

"Well, what is it, bro?" Natsu didn't really care about embarrassing other people about their crushes.

"Natsu, we're juniors, now."

"Well, what is it, bro?" He can also be very... dense... at times.

"We'll be going on that camping trip in three weeks, idiot." Jellal said, snapping out of his embarrassed state.

"And with your sister and her friends, too! That should be so cool, Zeref!" Mavis hugged his arm. She was really happy about this.

"Y-Yeah, Mavis. Should be a blast." The dark haired boy, had blushed at the girl hugging his arm. They are adorable together!

"Students, listen up!" the teacher had walked in. We all snapped to the front of the room.

"Welcome back, students! I hope you all had a coooooooooooooooooooooool summer vacation!" Oh god, Mr. Jason. That's not a good way to start the year. He was always WAY too hyper about something. He can very annoying, but I guess he's a nice guy.

I hope Levy or Gray or the others had better luck...

-Gray's P. O. V.-

This is bullshit.

"Gray!" the teacher yelled at me.

"Yes, Mr. Nullpudding?"

"Stop staring out the window and focus!"

Mr. Nullpudding hated me. Well, probably not really. He's just a typical grumpy teacher. Not only did I have him for a homeroom teacher, but I was put in the same as Lyon, Meredy, Ultear, AND Cana. To make it worse, I was put in the same class as Juvia. Oh, that's not a bad thing? It's not. It AMAZING! I really want to get to know Juvia more this year, but I'm going to be cock-blocked all year my the teacher who hates me, the half sister and her best friend who love to embarrass me, the sex fiend who loves to embarrass me when she isn't drunk and wants to lay me only when she's drunk, and Lyon. Just, Lyon in general ruins my day. To be more clear, I was at a window, Juvia was to my right, then Meredy. Ultear was behind Meredy, Lyon behind Juvia, and Cana behind me. God, someone kill me now.

"Gray-sama." Juvia whispered.

"What?" I whispered back, looking forward so Mr. Nullpudding would think I'm focusing. She passed a note to me and I unwrapped it. It read:

Would you like to hang out this Sunday?

And there were three boxes to check. There was Yes, No, and I'm busy, sorry.

This was an easy one.

I passed the note back to her after checking a box with my pencil. From her smile, I could tell she was happy.

I ticked Yes.

Fuck yeah I'm hanging out with her! This girl is awesome! And freaking cute, too! I'm so happy I met someone that I could be myself around.

Now if I could only find a gaming buddy that doesn't suck like Natsu, find a girlfriend, and find a way to get Lyon and Cana off my back, this might be a decent year!

"Focus, Gray! Do want a detention on the first day!?"

"No, Mr. Nullpudding."
