Lucy sat in her bedroom waiting. Waiting for what? Her father was going to tell her who she will be marrying. She didn't want to. But her dad was forcing her. She stood on her balcony and looked into the clear blue sky and sighed. 'I wish I could get away from here...' She thought. Suddenly a letter flew down in front of her. She looked at the envelope.

Lucy Heartfilia

She quickly grabbed it and opened it. When she did she took the letter out and began reading it.

Dear Miss Heartfilia.

You are here by accepted into Fiore Academy for witchcraft and wizardry. We hope to see you at the school. You will require to get your own equipment such as pens etc and you must bring all belongings with you. Come to the school at 12:00 noon. We look forward to seeing you there.

Lucy couldn't believe it. She got into Fiore Academy!! She looked at the grandfather clock in her room. The time read 8:25. 'I have to leave quickly.' She thought. She then knew what to do. Using her magic she created a small portal to her own little world. She then began to run around her room, chucking anything she found in. Clothes, money, food she had hidden, essentials, memory books, more books, more books and all her bedding and washing. She knew her father doesn't wake up until 9:00 so she ran into the kitchen with the little portal following. She then opened the cupboards and began piling food in. She emptied the kitchen in mere minutes. She looked at her watch. 8:40. 'Oh no!' She ran to the cleaning room and grabbed anything she might need to clean her clothes and other things. She then grabbed a med kit and chucked it in the portal along with most of the medicine. She ran back to the kitchen and raided the fridge. By the time it was 8:58 the kitchen, her bedroom and the cleaning room were empty. She then remembered something and ran to another cupboard. It had plates and cutlery. She never knew when she might need them. She ran back to her room. She locked the door and barred it with her magic. She heard footsteps and the door handle twisting as she looked for something. "LUCY OPEN THE DOOR!" She heard her dad yell. She didn't reply and instead found a photo frame of her when she was a kid and her mum. She then grabbed one more and it was of her when she was a tiny bit older and with a tall woman with dark blue hair that sparkled. Literally. She closed the portal and grabbed the letter, stuffing it in her pocket. She went to her balcony just as her dad got the door open. "LUCY-." But he couldn't finish as she jumped. He ran to the balcony and saw her hovering in the air on a cloud of black smoke that sparkled like stars. She flew away and once she was sure she was nowhere near she landed and began to walk. As she walked she could see the school appearing over the horizon.

Once she got to the school which took longer then she thought she checked the time. '11:30?!' She thought. She walked towards the gate and pressed the buzzer. "Yes?" She heard someone croak. "I'm Miss Heartfilia. I received a letter saying I was accepted into the school and to arrive by noon today." She said. The gate then began to open. "Go straight into the building in front of you then once you enter go left and you should find a girl with white hair. She'll tell you where to go." She thanked the voice and walked in.

"I just got the letter and came here." Lucas said. The boys nodded. So is that why you came here late." Lucy nodded.
