After class ends Ash bolts out of class. By the time I get out of class the only one in there is Leah.

Leah has been my best friend since fourth grade. We instanly became friends. Sadly she left the school in eighth grade. One day when she came over during the summer, we found out we were both going to Weschester High School. Usually we hang out at school but sometimes I go over to her house.

"Fi" she says, her voice ecstatic. "Wasn't he so cute" she says as we walk out the class room.

"You know he is the one who dropped the book on my foot"

"More reasons to talk to him" she says and elbows me. "Anyway I have to go. I'll talk to you later and you'll talk to him now" she says and points to Ash who is looking through his locker.

"How did she know his locker was here?" I think to myself. I turn around to ask her but she is gone.

Anyway I have to get home so forget him. I walk toward the exit.

"Shit" I say under my breath. It's raining. Usually walking in the rain is fine by me but today I have crutches, that the nurse gave to me. I stare out the window praying that I see Leah but instead I see Ash. I walk outside and already start to get soaked

"Hey, Collins!" I say a little to loud. He turns in my direction and starts walking towards me.

"Yeah?" His dark black hair seems even darker now, is that even possible. He is only two feet away but it feels like he is only 2 inches. His hair is to distracting so I focus on his light blue shirt. I notice how the water makes his shirt stick to his body. It looks like he works out. I quickly look away.

"Can you give me a ride? I walked here but I can't walk back cause of my foot"

"Ye-yeah" his stutter makes me look at his lips. "Follow me"
