Marshall.." cake called making me snap out of my thoughts "what do you know about fionna so far?" she asked trying to avoid the awkward silence

"well..i know that she's the warrior princess.. my magic mirror told me" cake stared at me surprised " and she eats like a pig, shes an awesome fighter, shes scared of fire and shes really nice.."i laughed

"you like her don't you?" she giggled

"what?! N-No way!" i blushed, was that it? did i liked her? is that why i wanted to help her and be close with her?

"you wanna know something?" cake asked. " my parents found fionna by herself in the woods when she was only a baby. we took her in, by the time she was 4, she taught her how to fight, it was unbelievable on how fast she learned, she even did battle moves we didn't even know about or teached her. when she turned 7, she got to explore aaa and helped many of the people living in it. she always loved helping them and put a smile on their faces. she did everything in her heart to protect everyone. one day, a woman came out of nowhere and demanded to fight fionna for killing her demons. fi wanted to do it on her own she didn't want me to help. the fight lasted 2 weeks.. no rest, no food.. she grew weak and lost in a snap. the woman, or your mom, told me that she forever belongs to the nighto'sphere when i found her..it was the saddest moment of my life. aaa lost its princess..and i lost my sister.."she cried "thankyou for taking care of her.." she smiled

"N-no problem.." i said feeling awkward from seeing her cry, i felt bad..

"so what else do you know about fi?" she asked wiping away her tears

"she never sleeps because of the lich's nightmares.." i finished

cake didn't say anything after that, we continue "walking" towards the kingdom tree house when we finally made it. it was a simple tree house but that didn't change the fact that it was the biggest tree in aaa!

"whoa.." i said out loud. i heard cake giggle

"come on, lets go inside, i know vampires can't stand the sun" she smiled.

"how you know im a vampire?" i asked raising my eye brow

"your flying arn't you? and even if you weren't, i can sense it. I'm a cat you know?" she laughed

we entered the house. it was full with crystals and golden coins. it was amazing.

"here, put her on this couch" cake told me. i did as she said and placed fi on a big soft red royal looking sofa. cake came up to her and wrapped chains around the couch and fi.

"what are you doing?" i asked

"fi does bad things when she's asleep, she ends up hurting people..that's why she hasn't slept in 7 years, it became too far when she turned 9"

"then..how does she look soo..perfect even when she hasn't slept for that long?"

"heh..well it took months getting use to it, but there was nothing our warrior princess couldn't do, since she didn't sleep, she spend her free time fighting and practicing .when she did sleep she either just haves nightmares or start to kill animals and sending people to the candy hospital and.. agh.." cake stopped shivering in disgust.

"well, its morning. its time for my duties as the warrior queen to protect aaa!" she winked "if you want to sleep theres some blankets in the closet, but try your best to watch over fi..if you can" she said before leaving me and fionna in the tree house taking a bunch of swords, 6 of them actually. they were 2 golds, green, red, silver and white and put them in her stretchy body for pockets.

two hours had pass and i grew bored, i decided to look around the tree house. there was a ladder, i decided to fly towards the top. a neat blue bed was on the side of the room while a small cat bed was next to it..the walls were pearl white and the floor had cool beige color tiles with red rubies scattered around

i flew around and found something on top of the white and blue dresser. a open note. i guess that cake opened it since the front said "from fionna". i know i was being nosy but noone was around so..

"dear cake,

i know that in the near future, me and the queen of the nighto'sphere are going to battle, and i dont want you to help me. it is my duty to protect the land of aaa...i know its yours too but this is my battle...i don't want my big sister to get hurt. after all the things you've done for me.. this is mine in return..i don't know how long this battle will take but if i lose..please protect everyone and don't worry about me..

wow..fi is really something..she did the battle all by herself because she didn't want someone to get hurt..how brave..

i flew back towards fionna,she looked alot worse. her bandages started bleeding, she was breathing heavily while her heart was beating like ten miles per hour!

"stop.." she cried

"fionna..you're ok, I'm here.." i hugged her. i later heard her growling. i looked at her, her eyes became dark instead of deep blue, and.. her skin was peeling alittle around the mouth area

"fionna..?" she started struggling out of the chains, i didn't know what to do! she broke the chains and ran out the house laughing evilly low. i flew after her, i hissed at the sun burning on my skin. there was no way i could go out there and help her without getting burned! i looked around and saw an umbrella, i opened it and went off to find fionna. she was nowhere in sight, but there was cake fighting off a ruby crystal monster with her awesome fighting skills.

"cake! fionna ran off!" i told her yelling from the distance

"WHATT!? we gotta go find her!!" she yelled completely ignoring the crystal monster

we went all over aaa and saw nothing. we later saw a horrifying view of bloody dead animals. we followed trail of blood and it leaded is to the candy kingdom. candy people were running and screaming everywhere! fionna was digging into the ground for some reason. there was blood all over the place, part of it was hers.

"Cake! stop her! theres toxic waste under there from years ago!" Gumball shouted from his castle

"fionna!" cake and i called. fionna looked towards us. she looked the same but more angry and evil looking with black eyes. she laughed at us

"get away you weaklings!" she warned laughing with a deep voice

"I'm not going anywhere!" i told her. she laughed again and ran towards me, i hesitated, not knowing what to do. i did the first thing that came in mind...i held out my arms

"Marshall no!" cake yelled terrified. fionna ran to me and i quickly kissed her. she was struggling to get off but i didn't let her, i was stronger. Minutes had passed and she was still struggling. later she finally calmed down and gently kissed me back. we let go of each other. a dark shadow escaped from her head and left out the candy gates. we watched it leave, i looked back at fi. she had her beautiful blue eyes back, looking at me with a face that was unreadable. she smiled and ran out the gates and into the field

"comon cake! let's beat some lich butt!" she yelled happily

"oh sugar! I'm coming!" cake yelled in reply crying from joy

i was..so happy to see fionna behave like this..she had her memory back and everything! it was the first time i seen her eyes wide open and smile like that, i haven't been this happy since i was found after my mother abandoned me after the war. I flew towards where fionna and cake stopped. cake seemed really happy to have fi back, she hugged her very violently making fi laugh. it was a funny but touching sight. i reached them in the middle of the field and saw a green and black shadow moving around in circles. i moved closer to fi and cake

"Cake, give me my demon sword" fi said in confidence. cake took out a red sword and gave it to her ,which I'm guessing she killed my demons with. "Eat butt you lich!" fi yelled as she stabbed the green and black shadow in the air, causing it to scream and vanish. "And that's how you kill demons" fi said winking at cake. Gumball came out the kingdom to see that fionna was better.

"Fionna! you're better now!"pg said almost crying

"Yes, I'm feeling a lot better, i didn't kill the lich completely but i know we won't see him in a loong time" fionna said happily. pg and cake rushed to hug her. while i stood behind them..alone.

after awhile of them talking with each other i decided to leave, since i wasn't being noticed anyways, it was worth helping her but..i don't live in the nighto'sphere anymore, so i gotta start looking for a place to live.. i started to fly away when i heard fi call me

"where you going your Majesty?"i turned around to see fi showing me her glowing smile and eyes. it was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen. i finally get see her the way i wanted to see her...happy and full of emotion, i smiled. she walked up to me slowly and stopped

"may i have permission to hug you sir?" fi asked bowing as a joke from what happened in my kingdom "yes, you may" i smiled playing along with her. She jumped up into my arms and hugged me. i happily hugged her back

"thank you Marshall...for saving me" she said almost crying

"anything for the girl i love" i said finally admitting my feelings towards her were love. she looked at me with wet confused eyes. she then smiled and hugged me again tighter

"do you really mean that Marshall..?" she asked me

"i do princess..and ill never let anything happen to you again.."

"I love you too.. my king.." she cried
