Just a quick warning, I guess this gets a little angsty.

"Sweetie, are you ready?" Finn calls from downstairs, waiting for his 4 year old child to come crawling down the stairs. (f/n) was a spitting image of her mother, she had curly (f/c) hair, (e/c) eyes and a few freckles. The girl finally comes down, slipping on a few steps while doing so.

"Yup! I drew this for her!" The small child excitedly says with a toothy grin, holding up an awkwardly but cute drawing of the family together.

Finn smiles, feeling a few tears helplessly drop from his eyes as he ruffles the girls locks. He quickly wipes away his tears, "It's great, now, let's get going, shall we?" He says, a few sniffles in between words. The (e/c) eyed girl nods and races out of the house, waiting for her dad before jumping into the car. Finn lets out a small laugh and starts up the car, beginning to drive.

When they arrived, they both hesitantly got out, following each other until they reached their destination. Tears began to slowly fall from both Finn and (f/n)'s eyes until Finn began to speak, "I'm sorry, we haven't visited in so long, love. I've started enrolling (f/n) into school, she's so excited, we've already bought all of her supplies." He laughs through tears.

"Mummy! Mummy, I brought you a picture! I drew it myself." (f/n) name says proudly, placing the picture down.

"It's been hard, but we've worked through it. (f/n) has taken an interest in space, she says she wants to be a astronomer. I think it's wonderful," Finn smiles, "Oh, I brought you these." He says, placing down a bouquet of (f/f), "Your favourite."

"I miss you, mummy, I just want you to be alive with us." (f/n) says as she looked down at the grave, tears slowly rolling down her (s/c) cheeks.

"I'm sorry, but we can't save both mother and daughter, I know it's hard, ma'am but you have to choose between yours or your baby's." The doctor says. (y/n) was currently in labour, and it hurt like hell.

"My baby, (f/n)." (y/n) said instantly, as if she had already known the answer . (y/n) knew that if she were to save her own life instead of her baby's, the feeling of guilt and sorrow would linger around her for the rest of her life. She knew her time was up. She would've had enough time on earth, while her child would have none. (f/n) wouldn't have had time to enjoy anything.

Finn's eyes widened as his head snapped over to (y/n) whom was painfully lying on the hospital bed, "No! At least think this through, (y/n)!" Finn says, tears starting to form in his brown eyes.

"Finn, it doesn't take long for a mother to think about that answer." (y/n) smiles weakly, hiding the pain. The tears in Finn's eyes failed to stop as he frowned but nonetheless nodded sadly.

After pregnancy, she held her baby in her arms for the first and last time, she didn't have long to live as her body slowly shut down, "I love you so much, (f/n), your father will take great care of you. Live life to it's fullest and always do your best." She whispers very weakly, nuzzling her child's nose quickly. The doctor quickly took away the baby and placed her gently into a bassinet, giving time for Finn and (y/n) to say their goodbye's.

"I love you so much, can't you fight through this? Please, please, I know you can, you have to!" Finn chokes through tears as he tightly holds his wife's hands. They had only got engaged a few months ago, their wedding was magical, but they both new that all good thing come to an end, they just didn't realise it would be so soon.

"I'm sorry Finn, I love you so much too. Take care of our daughter, stick with her through the hardest of times and never forget about me and what is in front of you." (y/n) says, getting weaker by the second, "Finn, I do love you, but know it's okay to move on, alright?" She smiled slightly. Finn nodded, his face now red as he gripped onto her hand tighter, " I love you both so much." She says, getting more quiet towards the end of her sentence.

It all was slow motion to Finn as the grip on his hand dropped, her eyes slowly closed and her whole body became motionless. The only sound left in the room was the soft cries of (f/n).
