Finn's P.O.V

I looked out my window as my new neighbors entered the house. There was a girl who looked my age, and her parents.

I wonder who'll get the room with the window across from mine?

My question is answered as the teen girl opener the door with a bunch of boxes. She looks up at the window and I quickly duck down before she sees me.

I continue to watch out the window, but I keep my head low. She has a box on her bed, labeled "fandom stuff". It's open, and she starts pulling things out.

The first things looks like a poster. When she unrolls it, I smirk a bit. It's a Stranger Things poster. Our new neighbor is a Stranger Things fan.

Then she faces the window and I see that she's wearing an It t-shirt.

"Finn! We're going over to meet the new neighbors!"

This should be fun

My mom rang the doorbell, and it was opened a minute later by, who I guessed was, the girl's mom.

She had an odd look on her face for a second, but it changed to a smile.

"Betty, Y/n! The neighbors have come over!"

I hear two sets of footsteps from upstairs, and a blonde woman comes downstairs, followed by a h/c haired girl.

The fangirl.

She stops in her tracks, and her eyes widened. I can see her containing her excitement as her moms invite us in.

Her moms take us into the living room, and we begin introducing ourselves.

"Hello, I'm Betty, and this is Veronica. And this is our daughter, Y/n."

The girl, Y/n, nodded and waved a bit. Every few seconds she'd glance awkwardly at me, and then the floor.

"Y/n. Why don't you and Finn go up to your room and get to know each other?"

Her head jolted up, and she began to protest.

"N-no, it's fine, t-that m-"

"It's okay, we can go to your room. I'll help you unpack."

Her moms almost had to push her out of the room.

Y/n was hesitant to open her door, but when she did, I saw that her walls were covered in It and Stranger Things posters, and pictures of the casts from both things.

Which meant that my new neighbor had photos of me on her wall.

"I-i'm sorry. T-this is p-p-probably really w-weird to y-you."

I shook my head.

"Don't worry, I've seen stranger things."

She laughed a bit, but quickly went silent again. I noticed that every time she looked at me, she'd immediately turn to the floor.

"S-sorry I'm being s-s-so awkward. It's n-not everyday that y-you have the F-Finn Wolfhard in y-your bedroom."

A couple of hours later, Y/n felt a bit more comfortable around me. Then my mom came and told me we were heading home.

Later that night, I was messaging the It cast group chat about Y/n when I noticed said girl sitting on her bed, which was next to her window.

I decided to send them a secret photo of her. I quickly snapped one, and sent it.

Right after I put my phone down, Y/n looked up and we made eye contact. She waved slightly, and I waved back.

My phone buzzed, and I saw messages from the group chat.

Jack: woah she's really pretty

Wyatt: i agree with jack

Yah she is

Jeremy: don't tell me you like her already

No we only met today. I'm just saying that I think she's pretty

Jaeden: i bet that in one or two weeks you'll fall for her

Sophia: me too

Chosen: me three

Jeremy: me four

Jack: nah it'll be less than a week

Wyatt: ^^^

Five days after I met Y/n, I decided to give her a tour of the town. Well,  my tour of the town. When I knocked on the door, one of her moms opened it.

"Hi, Mrs. Cooper-Lodge. Is Y/n home?"

"Yes, why?"

"I wanted to give her a tour of the town."

"Okay, I'll go get her."

A couple of seconds later, Y/n came down the stairs, wearing another It shirt and a strange, pointy hat-beanie thing.

"Hey, Finn."

She grabbed her keys, kissed her mom on the cheek and shut the door behind her.

"Interesting hat. Where'd you get it?"

"From one of my mom's old friends from our old town."

I brought Y/n around town, showed her the best places to go, places she should avoid and my favourite places.

We ended up at the park, with ice cream.

"Thanks for showing me around, Finn."

"No problem!"

"It still feels kinda weird to be neighbors with my favourite person." She laughed, and I laughed too.

"I'm sure you'll get used to it."

"Really? I doubt it."

We noticed that the sky was getting dark. We finished our ice cream, and started walking home.

We were still eight blocks away from out houses when the rain started pouring down. Y/n's first instinct was to take her hat off and shield it from the rain.

I gave her a strange look, as she put the hat in a pocket inside her jacket.

"What? It's... special to me. Now, we should find somewhere to go until the rain lets up."

I spotted a small shop not too far away from where we were.

"Y/n! Over there."

We ran to the shop, trying as hard as possible to stay dry. The shopkeeper came out from the back and gave us a weird look.

"What are ya doin' in 'ere? Odd place for a couple o' teens?"

Y/n pointed out the window, and the man nodded in understandment.

"Well, you can stay 'ere til the rain lets up. Do you wanna call yer parents? Let 'em know where ya are?"

Y/n nodded, and the shopkeeper led us to the phone.

"Hi, mom. Sorry I'm not home. Finn and I got caught in the rain. We found a shop to stay dry in though. I'll be home as soon as I can."

I could the muffled voice of her mom on the other side of the phone.

"Okay. Bye, mom. Love you."

She handed the phone to me, and I started dialing my home number.

"Hey, dad. Yeah, we're caught in the rain. I'll be home soon though. Yes, Y/n is with me. Okay bye."

I hung up, and thanked the shop keeper.

"Do you want anything to eat, kiddos? I've got spaghetti cooking if you want to join me."

Y/n smiled, and we followed him out the back of the shop.

Two hours and one meal of spaghetti later, the rain stopped. Y/n thanked the shopkeeper for everything, and we left.

The walk home was somewhat quiet. Y/n had put her hat back on, and I was messaging everyone on the group chat about our adventure with the shopkeeper.

Jack: have you fallen for her yet

Stop jack stop

Jack: never

Jack: y/s/n will be unsinkable

Y/s/n

Jaeden: it's his stupid ship name for you and y/n

"Who are you messaging?"

"Oh! Uh, just this group chat. With the rest if the losers club."

"That's so cool!"

I saw our houses in the distance, and shut off my phone. Y/n unlocked the door with her keys, waved goodbye, and shut the door.

"Stop staring at me through the window" was what Y/n had written on a piece of paper.

There was a smiley face at the end of the message, which meant that it wasn't meant to be taken in a rude way.

I found a notebook and scribbled down a message to her.

"No. You're too interesting."

I could see her laughing while writing another message.

"I'm not that interesting!"

This went on for a while, until Y/n jumped up from her bed and ran out her door. I guess her parents called her down for some reason.

She returned later, but by that time, I had fallen asleep.

When I woke up, I saw that Y/n wasn't in her room.

"Hey Fi- oh did I wake you?"

Y/n was standing in my door way. Her eyes widened. I looked down and immediately covered my bare chest.

"Holy shit..." Y/n whispered to herself, her face heating up.

"I'll leave. Just get dressed. We're going to the cinema."

She closed my door, and I quickly through on some clothes. I opened my door quickly, causing Y/n to stumble back.

"Oh, sorry! Were you leaning against the door?"

"Yeah."

"What movie are we seeing?"

"Murder On The Orient Express."

"Cool."

As we walked out of the cinema, Y/n was in a heated discussion about the movie. I think she was talking to me, but I was distracted.

I was distracted by Y/n.

She was really cute when she talked about something she was passionate about.

"-inn! Finn! Are you even listening?"

"No, I wasn't. Sorry. I got distracted."

She sighed, but laughed.

"You always get so distracted when I'm around. Don't tell me you're falling for me so soon."

She had said that last part in a jokey voice, but it made me think.

Was I falling for her?

No. Finn, you've known her for six days.

I didn't realise I had frozen and gone silent until Y/n started shaking me.

"Finn? Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine. Do you want to grab lunch?"

It's been two weeks since I met Y/n Cooper-Lodge, and I am now confident that I have fallen for her.

Ever since that day at the cinema, I spent more and more time with Y/n. We did so many things together, and it made me realise that I did have feelings for her.

But it felt weird knowing I had fallen for the fangirl next door.

Y/n's birthday was coming up in two days, on October 2nd, and I had planned a big suprise for her.

I had gotten some of the ST and It cast to come over to suprise her. Not everyone could make it, though.

So far, the ones coming were; Gaten, Noah, Joe, Millie, Jack, Wyatt, Sophia and Jeremy. They were already at the hotel, according to Jack.

I could already picture Y/n's face when she sees them all there.

That might be the perfect time to ask her out.

Everyone was in place, waiting for Y/n to get here.

Betty came in through the door with Y/n, who had a blindfold on.

I walked over and took the blindfold off.

"Suprise! Happy birthday, Y/n."

Y/n hugged me tightly, and I hugged her back.

"Now, I've got quite the suprise for you. You ready?"

"Should I be worried?"

"Not at all."

And with that, everyone I had invited walked in.

Y/n almost had a fangirl attack.

"Oh my god! I- I can't believe it! Finn, did you invite them?"

I nodded and she hugged me again.

"Finn told us you were a huge It and Stranger Things fan, so some of us decided to come over and suprise you!" Gaten said, smiling.

"I love your shirt, Y/n." Joe said, pointing at her "No. 1 Babysitter, Steve Harrington" shirt.

Y/n was still taking everything in, when Jack walked over to me.

"So when are you gonna ask her out?"

"Later, Jack. Later."

Y/n was clearly having the time of her life. She had hugged everyone who was there, and was taking a group photo on her phone.

"Hey! Wait for me!" I yelled, running over to join the photo.

As she took the photo, I leaned over and kissed her cheek. Cliché, right?

After she took the photo, her face was bright red.

"What was that for, Finn!?"

I shrugged.

"Just felt like it."

By the end of the party, Y/n had everyone's number. She hugged them all one last time before they left.

"Finn, I can't believe you invited them over here just for me!"

"Why wouldn't I?"

"God, this is the best day of my life!"

She had this really big smile on her face, and somehow it made her look even cuter.

"And I got all their phone numbers!"

She was dancing around the room happily. She stopped in front of her me, and I couldn't help myself.

I placed my hands on her shoulders and slammed my lips onto hers.

I pulled away quickly, and looked at her face. Her expression was mainly shock, but a bit of happiness too.

"Y/n, I know this is sudden, but will you go out with me?"

Her smile widened again, and she gave me the tightest hug I'd ever experienced.

"Of course!"

I kissed her again, with no hesitation.

Jack: so are you guys a thing yet

Yes we are

Wyatt: finally

Sophia: y/n was so sweet, i loved meeting her

Jeremy: yeah she really was

Jaeden: I'm sad I couldn't make it

Jack: I'm sure Finn will bring her everywhere, so you'll meet her soon

Chosen: you better introduce us Finn

You'll meet her soon enough

Jack: yeah

Jaeden: i can't wait

"Finn, are you talking to the Losers Club again?"

"...yeah."

"Aww why won't you talk to me?"

"Sorry, love."

I put my phone away, and turned my full attention to Y/n, who was sitting in the seat next to me.

"Flight 027 to LA. Gate 8. Boarding begins in 5 minutes."

"Do you want to get in line already? So we don't have to wait as long?"

Y/n stands up and we walk to our boarding line.

The plane doors open and we're the first two on.

"Finn... I told you not to buy first class!"

"Sorry love, but do you really want to be in the back of the plane with the crying children?"

Y/n sighed in defeat, and slid into her seat.

Half an hour later, the plane took off. An hour into the flight, Y/n fell asleep on my shoulder.

"Sleep well, love."

I shook the sleeping girl awake as we landed in LA.

"Love, we're here."

Y/n woke up just as we hit the ground.

"Welcome to LA. Please enjoy your holiday, or if you're returning, welcome home."

We hopped off the plane, got our luggage and all that other airport stuff, before finally getting a taxi to the hotel.

Y/n immediately crashed on the bed, and after I put our suitcases away, I lay down next to her.

"Sleep well. We've got a long day ahead of us."

I kissed the sleeping girl on the forehead, before falling asleep myself.

The next day, Y/n had to shake me awake. She was already dressed and ready to go.

"Come on, Finn. We've gotta leave if we want to make it on time."

I jolted out of bed quickly, showered and threw clothes on.

We checked out of the hotel room, and headed towards our next destination.

When we made it there, Jack was waiting outside.

"Finn, Y/n! Welcome to my humble abode. Everyone's inside."

We entered the house, our luggage in hand.

Jack had basically planned a massive sleepover at his place, with all of the Losers Club.

Jack told us to put our bags in the living room and then come down to the den, which was in his basement.

"Hey guys!"

Chosen and Jaeden stood up and walked over to Y/n.

"You must be Y/n. Sorry we couldn't make it to your party. But here we are now." Jaeden said, and Chosen nodded in agreement.

We stayed up for hours, playing Truth or Dare, Would You Rather and Who's Most Likely To.

After dinner, which was pizza we ordered, Jack bought down a bunch of movies we could watch.

Eventually we all decided to watch Ghostbusters. Once we finished that, we watched Back To The Future.

Near the end of the movie, I felt Y/n's head on my shoulder, and I started stroking her hair.

When the movie finished, I realised that she had fallen asleep. I carried her over to where she would sleep, and covered her with a blanket.

When I walked back to the others, theu were all whispering to each other.

"You really do love her, Finn." Chosen said.

"Did you doubt that I did?"

"No, of course not. Why would we." Jack butted in.

"We all ship you. Y/s/n is Jaeden and Wyatt's OTP." Sophia laughed at the two boys who were trying to deny what she had just said.

I can't remember what happened the rest of the night. All I know is that I woke up with my arms around Y/n.

And I woke up to the sound of Sophia and Jaeden laughing. With their phones in hand.

I sat up, which woke up Y/n.

"Are you guys serious?"

Sophia put up her hands in an "I'm innocent" way.

"Sorry you guys just looked really cute together. We only took a few photos."

Jack sat up, rubbing his eyes and yawning.

"Lies. You posted a video of them on Instagram."

Soon, everyone was awake and talking about Y/n and I.

"I'm gonna kill of all you guys." I said, only half joking.

I hadn't wanted to tell the Internet at Y/n and I yet, because it could cause a lot of drama and I didn't want Y/n to get hate from all the fans.

"W-what were the reactions from the fans on the video?" I asked, hoping for good news.

Jaeden quickly took out his phone and opened Instagram up. He went silent for a while, and I got really nervous, thinking about the comments that could be on the video.

"Good news." Jaeden said finally, gaining Y/n and I's full attention.

"All the fans want to know more about the fangirl next door."
