I literally had to drink bleach and pour it into the hypothalamus of my brain to cleanse out my system after seeing this. HOW DOES THIS BUCKING EXIST?!?!?!?! RARITY IS OLD COMPARED TO HIM!!!
Okay, sorry, I just hate this so much. Let me break it down:
1. Spike is a kid. Rarity is an adult. This is a great example of an age difference. Apparently not a whole lot of people think age matters in MLP relationships because I see these matchups in SO many ships.
2. Rarity doesn't like Spike like that. I feel like she would either reject him or take advantage of his kindness and devotion. I know she's the element of Generosity, but please. Name three times Rarity is generous, or shows signs of liking Spike other than the first episode of MLP. Please, let me know in the comments.
3. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of the age difference. There's a reason we don't ship people IRL with people much older than them. Apparently logic doesn't matter in the MLP universe. Think of it like this: Would you ship your best friend with your Grandpa? Of course not. You would call me a psycho if I told you I did that. So, why does it happen in MLP? Take this as a learning experience. The next time you want to ship people, refer back to the Aging Principle. Now, to summarize the ship, it sucks. Kill it now.
