Okay, I like this ship (because I have literally no other ships for Rainbow) but have they even spoken to each other? I don't think so. I know so many people ship them together, but think about the logistics of it.
1. They rarely speak/interact in the TV shows as we can see, so it might be that they don't know the other exists.
2. I'm not sure if Rainbow has any interests in ponies like Soarin. Maybe she likes the quiet and shy dudes, or a surfer man.
3. Maybe Soarin has a girlfriend and they're just friends.

Or maybe I'm extremely wrong and they have kids.
