Again, I ask, HOW IS THIS A THING?! I'm going to refer back to the Mane 6's friendship they have going on right now. It's very stable. No favoritism towards one or the other. Now, if someone were to show favoritism towards somebody else, this might upset the careful order. They might start spending less time with the other people, and eventually leave the group altogether because of their love life.
Still, let's pretend that they aren't apart of the Mane 6. Why did people come up with this? Is it because of the pranks? Because I know Rainbow likes pranks, but Pinkie doesn't like them as much as her. Also, she can't visit Rainbow's home because she isn't a Pegasus. They have many different interests and may find it hard to bond over something. Pinkie is SUPER hyperactive, and Rainbow might have her moments, but she isn't the most energetic pony around. There are many many things that keep this ship from happening. I think it's best not to have any more Mane 6 x Mane 6 ships.
