Yaku sighed as he blew warm air from his mouth into his cupped hands that he soon rubbed together to keep them warm.

He sighed.Why didn't he listen to his mother?

"Yaku take your coat,scarf and gloves to school today!"

"I'll be fine without them!"

Yaku knew now.He wasn't fine.

He was shivering,his legs shaking and his teeth chattering,hurting his jaw.

Yaku was only in his volleyball kit.Not the jogging bottoms or big jumper.But his actual kit.The one he wears in games.

They'd had a practice match with Karasuno that day.It was the coaches surprise to us.

Yaku stopped at the corner of a road,checking his bag for money to buy a warm drink.

Nothing.

He was broke.

'That's what you get for wasting all your money on random crap you don't need'Yaku thought.

He was so,so angry at himself for not doing as he was told.

Whenever he did it always ended up with him being made fun of.

It wasn't uncommon for Yaku to be bullied.

In fact it happened every day.Every.Single.Day.

"Ow!"

"Haha look at him.He really is like a 5 year old."

"Aww look.He's gonna go cry to mummy haha!"

"No,No"Yaku whimpered.

"Hahahaha!"

Yaku was shoved in a bleeding heap onto the floor.He was coughing,crying and panting all at once.

"Yaku!"Kuroo gasped,running to his friend and teammates side.

"What happened?Does it hurt?"He asked.

"It's fine.I'm used to it"Yaku lightly laughed.

He knew that if he told Lev that he'd get involved and be hurt.It was only really Kuroo that knew.

It came close to Yamamoto knowing as well but Yaku managed to scrape himself out of that one.

Yaku's home was about an hour away from Nekoma.At the moment he was about 45 minutes from his house.

Yaku groaned at ran a hand through his hair.

Out of nowhere Yaku was shoved into a wall.

A punch was the first thing aimed at Yaku,successfully reaching his face.

Then a blow to Yaku's small stomach,making him bend over and gag.

Then a kick around the back.

Yaku expected another punch but found the bullies on the floor next to him.

Yaku then sighed and threw up his lunch in front of this stranger,this saviour.

Yaku stood up and met the eyes of a very tall person.

"Yaku-San!Are you okay?!"A familiar person named Lev asked.

"Uh-huh"Yaku nodded.

He felt a hand holding his right one and another supporting his back.

"Let's go to the hospital!Or the doctor!"Lev panicked.

"Lev,I'm fine,honestly"Yaku heaved.

His legs grew weak again and he fell,Lev only just catching him.

"Yaku-San.How long has this been happening?"Lev asked.

Yaku started to shake and then let tears pour from his face.

He was tired,cold and injured.He was fed up with life.

"Ya...ku...-san"Lev breathed.

"Lev.....Lev.....Lev"Yaku called.

Yaku shook and bled.

He felt embarrassed that he depended on a Kouhai for comfort.

Yaku was choking on his tears and hugging himself.

Lev looked at the heartbreaking scene before him.

He slid off his scarf.

He didn't need a scarf.He had a coat.

Lev gently wrapped his scarf around Yaku and pulled him into a hug.

"Yaku-san please don't cry"Lev smiled.

Yaku wrapped his arms around Lev's chest.Lev's arms were around Yaku's waist.

Yaku looked up,his eyes meeting Lev's bright green eyes.

Lev moved a hand to wipe the tears from Yaku's eyes.

"Yaku-san don't cry"Lev said,his heart cracking in two at the depressing sight.

Yaku jumped and hugged Lev,pulling him down by the neck-he only just reached,mind you.

Yaku looked to Lev who was bright red from being hugged by Yaku.

"Yaku-san....U-um...."Lev stuttered.

Yaku kissed Lev's nose gently.

"Thanks for saving me!"Yaku sniffed.

Lev smiled and tenderly kissed Yaku's lips.

"Shall I take you home?"Lev asked.

Yaku nodded"Mm,thanks"

Lev held Yaku's hand.

They found a public toilet and got Yaku all cleaned up.

Lev gently tended to the wounds.

"Hey Lev.My mum isn't home tonight so how about you stay over?"Yaku offered.

"Really!Thanks you!"Lev said,bombarding Yaku in a huge hug.

"It's fine"Yaku chuckled.

He opened the door and took off his shoes,handing Lev his scarf back.

Lev did the same and hung up his coat.

Yaku left Lev to ring his parents while he texted his mum.

To:mum

I have a friend round for tonight is that ok?

From:mum

Course it is.I'm very busy I'll see you tomorrow ok?

To:mum

Ok goodnight.

Yaku sat Lev down on the sofa and got some snacks.

"What movie should we watch?"Yaku asked Lev.

"Find a horror!"Lev yelled.

"Ok ok."Yaku said.

He didn't like horrors at all.

He found one out called Sweeny-Todd.

While they were watching the movie Yaku was leaned up against Lev.

When Sweeny-Todd started slitting people's throats,Yaku buried his face into Lev's arm.

When the movie was over Yaku was half asleep.

"Yaku-San where's your bedroom?"Lev asked.

"Just call me Yaku,Lev"Yaku said.

Yaku got up and led Lev to his bedroom.

Yaku sat on Lev's lap on the bed.

"Lev....are we like....a couple now?"Yaku asked.

"Do you want to be?"Lev returned a question with a question.

"Of course!"Yaku exclaimed,surprised at why Lev would even ask that.

"Then yeah"Lev said,lying back on the bed.

Yaku lied on top of Lev's chest.

"I really love you"Yaku blushed.

Lev smirked and then whispered "I love you more"

Later that night Yaku's mother came home and saw the two boys sleeping.

She smiled and leaned on the doorframe.

It's almost every mothers dream to have a gay son.Yaku's mum was one of them.

She chuckled to herself,wanting to know this boyfriend.

"You really have grown up,Ya-kun"
