Hinata had always admired the 'ace' of teams.Hinata thought it was the same for Karasuno's ace Asahi Azumane.

He brushed it aside thinking it was idolisation and admiration but he soon started to notice the little things Asahi did.

Like how Asahi always put his right shoe on first.Or how he'd always hum a little tune if he was stressed.

Hinata also noticed Asahi's eyes glitter when he saw his favourite food.Hinata found out from Noya that it was actually Tonkotsu Ramen.(says in the manga that I have sooo...)

Hinata just gave up and decided yea,I love the ace.

Hinata wanted to confess his feelings but him and Asahi lived opposite ways so it was really hard to get the right chance.

Hinata had wrote a note and after practice on the Friday night he posted it through Asahi's letterbox.

Hinata ran home.Then he realised.I have his number.

Asahi heard the letterbox and walked too the front door.He saw the letter.

"Who is it for Asahi?"His mother asked.

"It's for me for once",Asahi said, while walking into the kitchen.

"Ok honey I'll leave it too you"She smiled,continuing to make dinner.

Asahi opened it.He unfolded the neat piece of paper.It showed messy writing.

Asahi smiled at the small boys handwriting.

He pulled out his phone and text Hinata.They didn't talk much.

Asahi:Hey Hinata you could've just text me ya know haha

Hinata:Sorry I forgot.

Asahi:Where am I meeting you?What time?You never said.

Hinata:0///0 Sorrry iforgot.Ummm maybe 1pm.Uhhh at the park...maybe.Is it okay?

Asahi:Sure so I'll see you then?

Hinata:Yeah.I've got to go now.See ya tomorrow.

Asahi:Sure bye.

Hinata jumped off of his bed and ran downstairs.His excitement through the roof.

Hinata wolfed down his food and ran upstairs-after asking for seconds.

He got undressed,spent an hour in the shower and picked out tomorrow's clothes.By then it was 8:30.

Hinata jumped into bed and fell asleep as quick as possible.

The next morning Hinata ran down stairs,barely managed to taste his breakfast and darted upstairs again.

He attempted too fix his wild hair.Then he put on some deodorant.

Hinata wore a massive orange jumped that stopped below his butt.It was pretty cold out.He then wore blue skinny jeans and wore orange converse.

Hinata was at the park half an hour early but he didn't mind.The tip of his nose was red from the cold.

Asahi had his hair in a loose bun and a portion of hair hanging too his shoulders.He was wearing a jumper and a flannel shirt underneath.He wore skinny jeans too but they were a light blue and he had blue trainers on to match.

Hinata thought he'd died at that moment.Of course the whole team knew about this crush of his.Well,all apart from Asahi obviously.

"Hey Hinata"Asahi smiled "What did you need to talk about?Ahh...You haven't been waiting long have you?"Asahi asked seeing Hinata's red nose and hands.

"I haven't been here long don't worry....Um...Can we go somewhere more private too talk....I don't want people listening..."Hinata said quietly.

Asahi smiled and nodded "Sure."

They were up on a small hill,isolated from others.

"So are you gonna tell me?"Asahi asked carefully.

Hinata stood in front of Asahi and puffed out his chest.
"I-I'm probably stepping....on a huge landmine but....I love you Asahi....and I know that I've admired you because you're the ace.....but.....It became strong and I realised it was love.....sorry Asahi...."Hinata said.Tears began to fall down his small cheeks.

Asahi blushed and looked at the small boy.

"I....I...uhh"Asahi garbled with a blush on his face.

"I...I knew it....ghh"Hinata choked wiping his eyes.

Asahi panicked and put his hands on Hinata's cheeks.

"Hinata look at me...don't cry....I'm sorry....I don't feel the Same..."Asahi said with a sad smile on his face.

Hinata nodded and wiped away his tears.

"Can we at least hang out still?"Hinata asked with a smile back on his face.

Asahi nodded "Sure we can."

After roaming shops and eating sweets and watching a movie it was time too go.

Asahi was kind enough to walk Hinata back home.

Hinata smiled and hugged Asahi."Goodbye Asahi"Hinata bowed before running off into his home.

Asahi walked back too his own home.

Hinata walked in and took his shoes off.

"Hi Hinata.Natsu and your father are out so I want to ask you.How did it go?"Hinata's mother asked excitedly.

There was no doubt Hinata was like his mother.

Hinata looked down and started crying heavily.

"He....He said no....And....and...and...*sniff*...ghhhh....I...guh...mmm....Mummyyyy"Hinata cried.

His mother encased his small body in her protective arms.She guided Hinata too the sofa and sat him on her lap.

Hinata's mother slowly rocked him on her lap.

After awhile Hinata fell asleep.She smiled at her baby-like son.

She lay Hinata on the sofa and pulled a blanket over him.

Natsu and Hinata's father entered the living room."why is nii-chan asleep on the sofa?"Natsu pouted.

"He got rejected by that boy he liked....He's upset..."Hinata's mother sighed.

Hinata's father sat by his son's head and stroked his son's fluffy hair.

"Poor kid.Must've hit hard."His father sighed.

Hinata only woke up for dinner and didn't eat much.Afterwards he just went up too his room.

Hinata checked his phone and saw a message from Asahi.

Hinata swiped the screen and saw the message said as follows

Asahi:Hey Hinata,I know you probably don't want too,but,I need too talk to you about today.You don't have to but..

Hinata:Of course I'll talk.You seem pretty serious.What time?and where?

Asahi:Is 7:30 am good?Is it too early.And I'll pick you up...is that okay?

Hinata:Sure I'll be up and be ready.See you tomorrow.I'm gonna go too bed.

Asahi:This early?Okay sleep well.

That was that.Hinata went too bed with a tense feeling inside of him.

The next morning Hinata skipped breakfast and told his parents he was going out.

Of course they were suspicious but let Hinata go ahead.

Asahi was already outside.

"Hey Hinata."He smiled.

Hinata blushed and looked at his shoes."H-Hey..."He stuttered.

"Come on"Asahi grinned,his hair the same as yesterday.He grabbe Hinata's small hand and ran with Hinata at his side.

When they stopped running Hinata looked over a bar and saw the sea glittering and the reflection of the rising Sun spread across the calm waters like spraypaint.

Hinata's smile became very wide.

Asahi smiled,gently,at the small boy with the huge smile.

Hinata's Pov.

It's so beautiful.

I'm still really hurt that Asahi doesn't love me but,is this his apology of some sort?

I really like his features in this light and the slight breeze is making his tied/non-tied hair flow in the breeze.

No Pov.

Asahi moved his index finger under Hinata's chin.He moved too be just a tad but taller than Hinata.

Asahi smirked as he felt the warmth of Hinata's face as he was blushing.

Hinata locked eyes with Asahi.

Asahi attached his lips to Hinata's.It wasn't long until Hinata kissed back.

Asahi wrapped his arms around Hinata and pulled away.

Hinata was practically frozen.

"Sorry for rejecting you.I gave it some thought and....I love you too...."Asahi blushed.

Hinata grinned and hugged Asahi.

"I love you so much Asahi"Hinata said as he buried his face in Asahi's chest.

Asahi kissed Hinata's forehead.

"Love you more"
