☆twelve

Chapter twelve:
Two Pure Beans and One Liar
☆*:.。. o .。.:*☆

"No! You can't leave me!"

Honestly, Taehyung was starting to get on Jungkook's nerves at this point. They'd only be gone for three days max. He'd even asked Yoongi and Jimin to take care of the the male while they were gone.

And despite all of that, the male still had to overreact over the entire situation. He was honestly such a drama queen.

Sighing out his frustration, Jungkook locked up the front door. Slipping the keys into the pockets of his jacket, he turned to the whining male.

"Kim Fucking Taehyung. For the last time, he's only going to be gone for three days max."

The said male turned and sent a glare towards the other, clutching on tighter to Namjoon's left leg.

"Shut up. Mind your own business, you little shit."

Scoffing, Jungkook walked up to him and bent down so that they were at eye level. Hands resting on his knees, he looked into the eyes of the other.

"For the record, your whining is delaying us and hence this does make it my business."

Having proved his point, the younger fisted the back of Taehyung's hoodie and pulled him up to his feet. Not wasting a second he dragged him towards the truck, opened the door, and shoved him in.

"Let's get going, Joon." Jungkook said, turning around and flashing him a smile. This sign of joy erupting from having shoved Taehyung into the truck. With that, the male too hopped into the truck and sat himself next to Tae; the truck having a capacity for three people.

Shaking his head at the younger and returning his smile, Namjoon walked to the drivers' side of the car and hopped in.

"Don't worry Tae." He said as he closed the car door. "I'll ask Yoongi to make some cinnamon rolls for you. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun."

Having received an 'angry' nod from the said male, Namjoon turned on the gas and drove off.

-

"And don't forget to give him his meds." Namjoon said, completing his list of dos and don'ts for Taehyung.

"One question." Yoongi asked, still trying to take in all that the male had said.

"Yeah?"

"Why the fuck should I be the one taking care of him?"

Namjoon was taken aback by this. "Ah. Why? I mean, he needs-"

"Look. I already have my hands full with taking care of Jimin and the bakery. There's no way I could handle another little shit."

"GET LOST YOU FAT ASS!"

The two immediately whipped their heads towards the source of the noise; Yoongi for Jimin and Namjoon for the other two.

There stood the three of them. Well not exactly 'stood'. Jimin was being held up on Jungkook's shoulders, who was running around; a whiny Taehyung chasing the two. The male was trying desperately to get his 'turn' (which Jungkook had never even intended on giving). Taehyung was also very very offended by the fact that he'd called him a 'fat ass'. Which he was definitely not.

"Put him down!" Yoongi yelled, running up to them. This caused Jungkook to switch to full on sprinting around. One reason being the fear of Min Yoongi.

And Jimin? Well Jimin simply enjoyed the entire situation, grinning from ear to ear.

In the midst of this jestful situation though, something very very unexpected happened. Taehyung lost control over his body, toppling down to the ground. At first, Jungkook laughed his ass off at the sight he'd just seen. After almost ten seconds of Taehyung not reacting though, he started to get worried. Placing Jimin back in his wheelchair, he ran up to the older. Namjoon was already by his side, trying to pep talk him.

"Dipshit! Did you take your meds this morning?" Jungkook nervously asked, rubbing his back to soothe him.

The male was panting heavily, hand pressed against his chest to hold the pain. His eyes began to well up from the lack of oxygen in his lungs, barely managing to shake his head in a sign of no.

Without losing another second, Namjoon rose to his feet.

"Hospital. Now."

With that Namjoon ran towards the truck. Getting the message, Jungkook lifted the other up in one swift motion; one arm around his back and the other in the bend of his knees. He sprinted after the older and got into the car.

-

"He's going to be okay. No signs of any relapse." The doctor said, following with a firm nod. "He probably put a little too much pressure on his lungs these past few days, given that he was still recovering."

"Yes doctor." Namjoon said, smiling slightly. "So there's nothing else?"

"No. You're free to take him back. Just make sure he continues to take his meds on time."

Having recieved the affirmative, Namjoon rose to his feet, thanked the doctor, and left the room.

"What did he say?" Jungkook asked, immediately after Namjoon closed the door.

"He'll be okay. Nothing to worry about."

"Good." Jungkook said, more to himself than to the older. "Now let's go get that male before he stirs up some drama."

-

"Two against one?"

"Yeah. It was a tough night."

Jungkook rolled his eyes at the imminent bullshit he was about to walk into. Namjoon had gone to bring the car out front and asked him to bring Taehyung along. Oh how he wished they could've switched places.

"But the hero of justice knows no rest. Despite those two trying to attack me, I fought them off and delivered the very very confidential documents into the right hands."

"Whoa! And then what happened?"

"Well-"

Not being able to take one more second of that shit, Jungkook slammed the door open; earning the attention of all seated in that room ―A boy with a broken arm, a girl with a bruised eye and one mother-fucking liar Kim Taehyung.

"Shows over. We're leaving. Now."

"Nooo!" All three of them whined at the same time, the two children who were snuggled up on both sides of Taehyung inching closer to him.

Exhaling a sigh, Jungkook walked up to the trio.

"Well Mr. Hero here has got some very important business to attend to. So he has to leave."

"Hero business?"

"Yes." Jungkook said, looking Taehyung in the eye. "Hero business."

"Ok then!" The little girl said smiling. "Yeonmi asked us never to stop someone from doing a good deed so you can take him."

"Yeonmi? You mean Soo Yeonmi?"

"Yes!" The two kids chirped, the mention of her name bringing smiles on both their faces.

"You know Yeonmi too?" The little boy asked.

"Of course!" Jungkook said, taking a seat on the lower half of Tae's bed. "We're good friends. How is she?"

"She's doing great!" The little girl chirped. "Her food is super delish as always! And she's super super nice too!"

"Good to know she's doing well."

Then looking at the injuries the two were suffering from the male asked, "How'd you guys get hurt?"

Face flushing red, the little boy scratched the bridge of his nose. "I kinda fell when I jumped off the Big Rock."

Jungkook's eyes widened in shock. "You jumped off the Big Rock!?"

"Y-Yes."

"Well, aren't you brave." Jungkook said, reaching out and ruffling the kid's hair.

"B-but I fell." The boy said, shoulders drooping in disappointment.

"So what if you fell?" Jungkook said, earning a shocked look from the kid. "I remember not being able to jump off the rock at all! Jumping off that rock takes courage."

The little boy nodded vigorously, grinning from ear to ear.

"And you?" Jungkook asked, shifting his attention to the girl.

"I.. I fell on top of him while trying to stop him from jumping."

"Ah. A true act of caring." Jungkook said ruffling the little girl's hair too, earning a soft giggle from her. "You're both real brave. Almost like Yeonmi."

"Yeonmi?" The two questioned head slightly tilting. And Jungkook would be lying if he said his heart didn't melt at the sight.

"Yeah! She was the only one who could jump off the Big Rock without getting hurt."

"Whoaaaa!" The two children marveled in wonder.

"She is one cool girl." Jungkook said. With that, he got up. "Well as much as I hate to do this, Tae and I must get going now. Duty calls."

The two whining children sadly got off the bed, not before hugging the male. With one last goodbye, the two males left the room.

"Well, that was refreshing." Taehyung commented once they'd left the room.

"Huh?"

"You're interaction with the little kids." Taehyung said, a smile playing on his lips. "How pure."

"Shut up you lying bastard." Jungkook spat, looking away from the male.

"Lying?" The older asked, thoroughly confused.

"You really expect me to believe what you told those kids was the truth?" He asked with an eyebrow raised.

"I-It was!" Taehyung yelled, getting flustered. "I-It really was!"

"Sure." With that Jungkook walked ahead, ignoring the sad-as-shit protests Taehyung made.

There was no way he'd believe such self-righteous crap like that a second time.
