Bill Cipher P.O.V

I see Dipper angrily walk out of the Mystery Shack. It's quite clear that the beginning conversation did not go as calmly as planned.

"I want to spend the night somewhere else," Dipper says sternly, grabbing my arm.

He attempts to pull me away from his family but I cannot be moved. I would like to have a word with them myself.

"Bill, please, I don't want any more fighting," he pleads.

"I won't fight with anyone, I promise," I tell him, wrapping my arm around his shoulders.

He sighs and keeps his head down as we walk back to the Mystery Shack. Ford, Stan, and Mabel are all outside. Once I come into view they all seem stunned with terror and anger.

"Hello, Stanley, Shooting Star, Fordsy," I say calmly.

Mabel looks positively petrified of my presence. Ford and Stan, however, seem furious. All of their reactions are quite understandable.

"Bill, get away from my nephew," Ford says sternly.

Dipper doesn't move, much to my liking. I would hate for him to run over to his family just because of my history with them.

"I think not. He's an adult, let him make his own decisions," I say while still keeping my calm and collected tone.

"Oh, please, he's only with you because you've gotten in his head," Stan snaps, crossing his arms.

I can tell that this statement angers Pine Tree. His anger radiates a strong heat from his body.

"He is not! Have a little faith in my mental strength!" he yells, pulling away from me and moving to the center of the argument.

I am almost surprised to see him take such a stand for himself. It shows me that he has more courage than I previously thought. It also means that I won't lose him due to his family.

"I am sick of fighting with you! You don't trust me and think I'm weak! I've got news for you: I'm not as weak as you think! I know that you all hate Bill and frankly, I don't care, but if you love me you'll let me be happy for once in my fucking life!" Dipper yells, finally letting out his built up emotions that have been eating away at him for many years.

His family stands before him in silence. Never would they have expected such an outburst from him. It honestly makes me proud to see him release those built up years. He's finally standing up for himself when it matters the most.

"Dipper, we do love you," Mabel says softly after a moment, "and that's why we don't want to lose you."

I notice his expression soften for a moment, but only for a moment.

"If you love me so much then let me be happy instead of making me miserable about who I choose to be with," he says sternly.

"We're only trying to protect you," Ford says.

"Well, I'm fine. I don't need to be protected," he replies.

"We just don't want to lose you," Stan adds.

"With the way you all acted, I think it's safe to assume that I'm already dead to you. I'm done fighting about this," Pine Tree says flatly.

He turns to me and grabs my hand. We leave hand in hand as his family can do nothing but watch.

'I'm happy that Pine Tree has fought for what he loves, I just hope that he doesn't lose a relationship with his family because of it.'
