"Sissy!" My little sister cries, I shoot up and look at her, I look down at her and see she has tears streaming down her small face then I jump awake hearing yelling and glass breaking, "Mommy and Daddy is fightin!" She sobs jumping into bed with me, "Get your stuff while I call Hide," I whisper stroking her ginger hair, "Okay," she whispers softly tip toeing out of my room.

I sighed hearing more screaming and yelling, 'Again?' I think to myself, this is the 3rd week they've been fighting nonstop 24/7 and it was getting old. It killed me and Annabelle watching our parents fight over money and about me and Annabelle and the only one that knew where we lived was Ironhide.

He was a robot from the once powerful planet Cybertron that was destroyed by war that has been going on for millions for years. Anyways Ironhide works with my dad, who's name is William Lennox, who is a commander at N.E.S.T, "GIRLS!" I hear Mom and Dad call, I climb out of bed and grab Annabelle's small hand in my much larger one while we both climbed down the stairs.

"Get your things packed for a week, you both are going to N.E.S.T with Ironhide, who will watch you, Anna, and you, Lauren, are going with your guardian Sideswipe," Dad says pointing at Anna then me, "While me your father go to a marriage council," Mom says from across the room, I see glass plates broken on the kitchen floor, a broken picture of mom and dad holding Annabelle when she was first born.

I looked at our family portrait, all four of us were smiling, "Ironhide will be here in 5 minutes, get ready girls," Dad says looking at me and Anna, "I'm gonna go get my stuff!" Anna calls running upstairs, "Are you going to get a divorce?" I ask looking at both of them when I see papers on the table, "No Lauren but if the councilor can't help us then there would be no other choice," Mom says shaking her head from side to side, "It's not fair!" I growl then walk up the stairs.

It wasn't fair that I got a happy family and Annabelle got a happy family at first but then started to shatter a month after she turns eight. "Lauren!" Mom and Dad call while I ran up the stairs to my room and threw my face in a pillow that was on my bed, I felt a warm familiar hand on my shoulder, "Come kid," I hear Ironhide whisper, I sit up and hug him tightly crying on his shoulder, he holds me back even tighter rubbing my back soothingly.

Ironhide was like an uncle me and Annabelle never had since Dad didn't have a brother or a sister, "Come on Sideswipe won't stop COMing me asking if your alright," Ironhide says making it rumble his shoulder, I nod and get my things ready after he left, I get a text from Sideswipe but it was under 'Babe' since I have a huge crush on him. When he found out his contact nickname he only chuckled and kissed my cheek, I smile reading the text

-Are you alright? What Con do I have to crush?!- Babe.

-You don't have to crush a Con and yes I'm fine- Lauren.

Once done packing my things I kept texting Sides smiling and laughing every once in awhile at the things he texts me, Ironhide tells Mom and Dad that he and the others would take care of us while we were in their care, Mom and Dad both hug Annabelle but I dodge them and walk out to the truck.

Once in the truck I get Annabelle's car seat strapped in the backseats, Annabelle comes out with Ironhide holding his hand in hers, I sit in the passenger seat while Ironhide got Annabelle strapped in after putting her and my stuff in the backseats, Ironhide climbs into the driver seat after strapping Annabelle in, Hide looks over at me, "Kid, your parents are doing this for you and Annabelle," he reassures resting a hand on my shoulder making me look at him with a weak smile, "I know your tired, we'll be at base in at least ten minutes," Ironhide reassures then starts his truck reversing.

Soon we are going towards base, it was a long quiet ride except Annabelle asking Ironhide random questions like "Can we go to McDonalds?" or "Is Oppy at base?" Oppy is Annabelle's nickname for the leader of the Autobots his name is Optimus Prime. Optimus is a sweet guy and leader, he can sometimes get a little strict but in other cases he's amazing. Like that one time he let me and Annabelle take the other Autobots to the beach then a water park then Disneyland, which Disneyland was the most embarrassing trip yet, me and Sideswipe had to share a room with Ironhide and Chromia, who wouldn't stop bickering like the married couple they are and I had to share a with Sideswipe!! My crush! That was embarrassing!

Soon we are at base, I see my cherry red guardian, "Oh thank Primus your here!" He says walking up to me, I smile weakly at him making him smile cheekily at me, "Come on lets get you to my room," he says with a smirk, "You dirty minded bot," I yawn while he gently scoops me up in his hands, "I know you love me," he says while he walks out of the vehicle hangar and towards the Autobot berth-rooms that was on the other side of the base, Sideswipe got a room where it was far from human activity and it was quiet which Sideswipe loved.

I cling to my guardians finger while he typed in the code which was the easiest the code was literally:

Easy right? To some other person it's hard! What losers!

Once inside the room Sideswipe sets my things down and lays down on his berth or in human words a bed, he sets me down on his chest and lets me curl up and listen to his spark or what we call heart. His spark was thrumming in it's casing, it always calmed me to hear his spark thrumming it was like his spark was telling me to calm down in it's own language only I could understand. I jump slightly when Sideswipe cups his hand over my body letting his finger stroke my hair gently, "Good human pet," he teases with a famous Sideswipe smile only Sideswipe could pull off, I smile and pat his chest "Good robot," I whisper teasing him like he did me making him let out a soft chuckle while I fell into a deep sleep.

Unknown to Lauren while she slept Sideswipe watched her for awhile before whispering:

"Good Night my Lauren"
